Slugdge

A fairly underground metal band that has a lot of very varied music. "Cosmic Cornucopia" is 3 album's worth of songs that rarely resemble any of the others. Their recent album "Esoteric Malacology" has very interesting diverse metal tracks. I think it would help a lot to diversify the metal FA line-up by including them, since right now it is pretty weak in my opinion.

Reason: I mostly like his Touhou arrangements and I think he would be a somewhat good contribution to song diversity. He made some work with Milky chan but he might be considerd unkown in general. Finding new music is one of the good things with osu! right? An artist who makes a lot of hardcore and electronic stuff using anime and video game samples. Their songs are high bpm and very engaging, which would make for some good maps. A lot of their songs have already been mapped before, and I would consider some of those maps such as StrangeProgram, FAKE PROMISE or IVALTEK to be pretty iconic and well known

Antti Martikainen
His music is, like he describes himself "epic soundtrack music" - featuring a lot of symphonic, melodic tracks mixed with medieval and celtic folk, sometimes even using metal and electronic elements.
No idea what else to write here - just check him out, his every album is something different! I'd personally recommend checking Northern Steel :}

paraoka

paraoka is a well-known Japanese doujin artist who has produced tracks for years, focusing primarily on the Denpa and J-Pop genres.
Many of his songs have been charted in various rhythm games and he was a prolific BMS composer as well.
He has collaborated as a part of the Diverse System circle and Koujimachi Yousankan/Koujimachi-ongen with haru*nya.
Many of his works as part of Koujimachi Yousankan have been mapped and ranked in osu! and they have held up well for a long time (Dreadnought, Manima ni, petal-go-round, Rampage, ponytail)
It would be very nice to see him as a Featured Artist in osu! after all these years.

Taishi

Taishi is a notable Japanese producer specializing in trance and other forms of electronic and EDM.
He has worked on doujin albums, Vocaloid tracks, and even anime soundtracks.
Even if you don't recognize his name directly, he has worked on various songs which have achieved high popularity in the osu! community:
He has worked with Yoshiharu Kato under the name Electro.muster (A Sugar Business) and collaborated with Ringo Aoba as part of Träkker (Trail of Dust, Rootus).
He also has lead the music production for the Ongaku Shoujo project, providing many popular tracks (Justability, Winteright, Perfect Free, Back to Marie)
Having Taishi as a Featured Artist would be exciting to see as his music is high quality and have been the foundation for the beatmaps we know and love.

nmk is a producer primarily focused on Eurobeat and Touhou doujin works. He has worked on BMS tracks (notably sola which has 4 ranked maps) and has produced under many Touhou circles (EastNewSound, SPACELECTRO, SuganoMusic).
His music is highly fitting for rhythm games and it would be interesting to see more of his works be exposed to a larger audience and elaborated on by the community's beatmaps; I believe he should be considered for being a Featured Artist.

DJ Command

DJ Command is a Eurobeat producer who is well-experienced with Touhou doujin music and rhythm game soundtracks.
He has produced for years and many of his contributions are well-known in the osu! community, as part of circles such as A-One (Magic Girl !!, Bamboo Dance) and NJK Record (WARNING!, Crazy Hot, Spring of Dreams).

Capchii demonstrates mastery of several electronic genres from hardcore to hi-tech to future bass to... you name it. If the instrumental melodies aren't convincing enough didn't get you hooked, fear not, many of the tracks are often paired with sugary cutey vocals or vocaloid. The artist has released a plethora of songs that are just begging to be mapped to, both in the form of albums (see: bandcamp) and single releases of remixes of catchy tunes (see: soundcloud). Tom, AKA Kinema106 has created many kancolle rearranges that are well known in the osu community, most well known are Juubaku and Juusou. with Kurousagi Uru, the main vocalist of the group, are the cherry on the top with her strong voice, with 烈花の翠緑 (Rekka no Suiryoku), 水奏 (Suisou) and Just Smile are her masterpiece, that complies with complex rhythm that can make difficult, yet interesting maps

An American artist renowned for his unique "indie pop" genre style of music along with having songs released under the "DESKPOP" label. Although he is not that popular, his songs were exposed to a larger audience after having some of his songs licensed for a Roblox 'rhythm game' called "RoBeats" and started gaining a lot more streams on Spotify as of the said event (He even had a mashup made for his songs in the game), motivating him to start producing music again after a sort of hiatus (If you're interested, he has a new EP that is coming out on November this year). He already has some of his songs mapped and published on the servers on this game (Including the recent ranked sets using his songs "Say It Back" (Osu!Mania set made by me!) and wafer's Osu!Standard set of "Know It All"), and I think he would be a good choice for bringing song variety into the Featured Artist library.
