Can some1 just explain to me how to play osu!taiko lol?

I am a new player. I binded the keys to a,s,d,f. Maybe it's my skin, but I have no idea what the circles want. (My skin is Nightgate cyan.) There is blue and red objects and yellow sliders. Some objects are smaller than others. What keys do those object types correspond with? The keys seem to form two circles, one inside the other but it's confusing since each key is not the opposite sides of them or the same sides. Should they be?

If this mode is really meant for mouse, then well I don't have a fancy mouse with four buttons..so that's even more confusing to me.

Just, what is the object of this mode and how does one play it? Thanks.

For your keybindings:

Essentially you got 2 keys for each color and it doesn't matter which one you press. This becomes relevant when the notes follow each other so quickly that using only 1 button per color wouldn't be enough. For the start you can also play it onehanded.

For the small red/blue circle, hit one of the buttons for the red/blue circle (doesn't matter which button).
For the big red/blue circle, hit both buttons for the red/blue circle.
For spinners, alternate between blue and red.
For sliders, hit any button you want, as long as you follow the slider tick.
