Mouse Sensitivity in different Games

Hello!
Im not the forum person and usually search for these infos on my own, however it happens to be that I found really nothing too useful about this topic so I decided to ask you fine people about it since I guess some of you might have run into the same issue in the past.
I want so syncronize my mouse sensitivities across 2 Games (CS:GO and osu!) in order to build up a very consistent aim.
The Problem is that I have no clue how to really calculate the sensitivities, or tbh if it even makes sense to do so.

My Approach was the following:
I took my DPI and multiplied it with my CS:GO Sensitivity (400 x 3.29 = 1316 Effective DPI).
Then I took this Number and divided it by 4 because the CS:GO Field of View is 90 Degrees (which divides the game area in every position into 4 90* sections) while osu!'s is technically 360 Degrees (because there is only one section)?
1316/4 = 329 Effective DPI "on a whole Screen of CS:GO"/in osu
Then I took the now calculated effective DPI, divided it by the initial 400 DPI and got 0.8225 (so 0.82 in osu) as my new osu sensitivity.
It kind of feels the same in both games, but im not sure.

Did I get this right?
Or does it not matter because the idea itself is terrible?

Im wondering because the effective DPI now are almost 2/3 of the old config and feels horribly slow (being 508 effective osu! DPI; which I played well with)
Or should I maybe do the reverse and actually adjust my CS:GO-sens to my old osu!-config?

I hope someone can help. :?: :|

You won't be able to transfer any muscle memory between those two games: You're clicking still circles on a flat 2d plane in osu, and you're shooting moving targets in a 3d environment in CSGO. I don't think you'll really get anything out of having the "same" sensitivity, if such a thing could even be measured.
usa
nope, but what you can transfer from cs:go is reaction time and focus.
just use a sens on cs:go that feels most similar to osu! for you cause that's the best you can do.

Okay. Thanks for the quick answers!

For first person shooters, what matters is how large you can make your 180 turn and still comfortably do it in one sweep. That's it. The larger you can make it, the better.

You're never going to be able to synchronize your aim between the two because a) they're totally different types of aims and b) even a slight difference in how you handle the mouse between the two is going to throw you off. It's actually pretty easy to switch between DPIs, however - as soon as you switch, just make small circles with your mouse until you feel like you have proper control of your cursor.

FPS: it only help build stamina and stability, it does not increase your reaction time or panoramic aim at all.

"Free mouse" games (RTS/RPG): all mouse skills transfer - not to be confused with better reading or reaction time.

It does provided you sync your sensitivity, use tiny windowed res, and only play the high ARs

high FPS doesn't magically make you better, so no reaction time or aim improvement for you. Frame capping does, however, increase input lag, which is the whole point here

yes mouse skills transfer, and that's true. If you're good at it in other games that require stability, speed, aim or other stuff you need to play osu!, you'll have a better foundation to go from but that doesn't make you insta-cookiezi

He means first person shooters not frames per second.

Hey dude can you help me with mine?
CSGO sens = 2.5 res = 800x600 Aspect Ratio = 4:3 Blackbars
FOV: 90 ( idk if like the viewmodel_fov thing affects it but mine is at max 68)

my osu is on 1920x1080 with raw input on.

Thanks if you can help me lol (cuz like your replies are 5 years ago :v)
