I play ReimuB, myself. So far, that's the only way I've managed to 1cc Normal. You need to be careful against Patchouli, though.

Well, to see how rusty I've gotten at Touhou since I'm unable to fully utilize my laptop (battery issues, and apparently issues that surfaced because of a shutdown that occurred because of it), I tried to do a pacifist run of Stage 6 of SA. With my crap keyboard that can't read arrow keys well enough. I lost two lives to mid-boss Orin because I was trying to find the safe spot in the attack (as you can tell, I failed miserably). Utsuho's first few attacks passed without incident... Until her second card. Promptly raped. Managed to get to card three. Dead.
Okayz, so I got a 16 gb iPod nano as an early christmas present. And I have a few albums of Touhou music from DoujinStyle! I'm really interested in vocal and not too crazy about rhythm songs. IOSYS, Silver Forest, COOL&CREATE, Seventh Heaven Maxion, SOUND HOLIC are my favorite out of the Touhou music band thing. Can't forget the awesome Innocent Key band. I've downloaded quite a few of rhythm songs which mean nothing to me so I delete them like Sound Online and euphoricia, although some are actually pretty good like ZUN. Anyone have any recommendations on some other really good Touhou music albums that I should've had downloaded a long time ago or that yall liked? Maybe I could even fill my iPod with only Touhou music, lol. ^^

(11/16/08 was when I started playing) Shoot the Bullet was the worst Touhou game I've ever played. I mean there are no difficulties, or even a story mode. Just high scores and best pictures. It's probably just from the link that I downloaded it from where there are already placed scores in each level, which is why I didn't like it as much. I kind of wanted to start a new, but when I delete the score.dat file, it just comes back with the scores unless i'm doing something wrong... But I did like how it was a different kind of gameplay and that has made all the difference. 
Stage 1 Scene 2 was hell for me which took me like 30 minutes to beat. Addicting and fun to play though, just not as good as the others. SWR is the best!

Is 983,434,550 a pretty solid score for Imperishable Night?

The highest score in Gensokyo.org is 1,992,699,200, but I'm sure it has lots of grazing and manipulating the Youkai/Human bar and etc. Yours is good, I think. Hell I suck and my best score was around 910,000,000 so yeah it's a good score. I really should try playing again (even though the last time I did so I got this)...

The reason why I didn't downloadit until now is because I couldn't get my controller back connected to my laptop (don't ask).
I guess I should do a youkai (or Reimu) solo on her then. I seem to always get hit by the ying-yang orbs right when I need to do a quick switch for speed.

I just recently started playing these, and they're quite fun, but a bit confusing.
A) Whats with the timer during boss fights?
B) do i need to play these in order or anything?

If the timer runs out, you won't get any Spell Card Bonuses which are basicly points. ( That's all I know about them )
And no you don't have to play them in any specific order. I first started playing TH07, then jumped to TH10.5, then back down to TH07.5, then TH06, then TH08, then TH9.5 but it sucked really bad imo,then downloaded TH09, TH10, and TH11 at the same time just to be safe. Although I may be wrong =X

Pretty fun game. I'm having troubles beating Imperishable Night on Lunatic without using a continue... I've been playing mostly as Marisa Solo lately, It makes spellcard 143 a lot easier.

Marisa ehhhh... Not so much. She seemed way too normal compared to how she is in the games.
Aya was pretty good. I always imagined she'd have a more mature voice, but the naggy little girl appeal works for me.
Suika wasn't drunk, so there's nothing to compare her to.
China wtf. Although it is expected that some characters would get more screentime, her part is just annoying. Epic points for Sakuya calling her by her real name though.
Sakuya seemed pretty steriotypical, it would be good to see her fight though. ZA WARUDO.
Patchouli was epic, but it would have been better if she had a more lazy voice, like Clannad's Kotomi.
Remilia.... yeah, she was pretty good too, although she looks way too young.

Haven't really bothered to load the disc up yet (I'll do it on New Year's), but I'm amazingly surprised at the seiyuus Maikaze managed to bring to what amounts to a fanon work. Gensokyo.org has the full list, including some previous parts, but sheesh, how'd they land the VA who did Mai in Mai-HiME?

Wow. I can't figure out how to put the English patch into IN. When I tried it kinda messed up my exe where I can't even get into the game no matter what I try anymore. Good thing I had a back up IN folder. Haha

I was having the same problem for a while... I don't even know what fixed it, I just played through the game on easy mode, exited, and tried patching. Worked perfectly, that time. Just make sure you've got the updated version of IN

I thought the name was a bit suspicious... The first part seems entirely lifted from the second game, "Story of Eastern Wonderland"! Bad PC-98 memories....
Of course, I've only gone through the first stage right now, but just brought that up.
EDIT: Aw man, it is SoEW! Well, at the very least, I got farther than I usually do in this game... Which isn't saying much...
