Any MP3 i drag into osu! sounds quiet.

Every time i import an MP3 file into osu! the MP3 on osu is extremely quiet, this is a somewhat recent issue that i have been having. I've played the MP3 outside of osu! and it sounds just fine. All of the downloaded maps i have all sound fine as well. So what could the issue be?

I'm pretty sure I used to ask the same question when one of the songs I wanted to map was seemingly more quiet.
Open your audio file in Audacity and see if the waves reach the top/bottom of the container at any point. If yes, there's nothing you can do to further amplify the volume.

Maybe also try to open the song folder of other songs in osu! that sound fine in your opinion and let them play with a different audio player.
