so i just recently lost my pen for the third time and decides to just become a mapper. but idkw where to start. i deleted all my maps not too long ago and just think that im starting from 0 now

To map, get a mp3 file, put it into osu! and start mapping. To get kudosus, you have to mod other people's maps (means you're helping them to rank it in the future by giving helpful criticism and giving ways to do better in your opinion). If a mapper found it helpful, he's probably giving you kudosus as a reward for you being helpful
wait. kudosu still exists? (took a break from modding for a while but i thought they got rid of it in the new system?)

They're still there but you cannot use them in modding v2 and they became even less relevant than they were before.
