Heya, random mod
Good luck
Kantan
- How about 00:13:815 k? Would good for overall structure and buildup as 00:29:605 is stronger, or maybe change 00:29:605 to K.
- I think you should make the section starting at 00:13:815 more similar to the one before with 2/1 instead of 1/1, remove 00:14:999 and move 00:16:578 to 00:16:183.
- Remove 00:17:762 for similar reason as ^.
- Remove finish, the sound is not as strong as 00:29:605 for example, also looks better for structure.
- Add d on 00:31:973. I think you should try to have a note so you don't go back to too few notes after using more in the previous part.
- 00:38:289 add d and change 00:39:078 to k for the instrument sound.
- Move 00:56:052 to 00:55:657 for better spacing or change to k to sound better with the clap here as well.
- Move 01:02:368 to 01:03:157 because you have stronger vocal and instrument there.
- 01:00:394 d, even though it's for vocal, you have a strong clap right after this on 01:00:789 so I don't think k sounds good here.
Futsuu
- I think you can remove a few notes in the beginning, the song is relatively calm:
- 00:03:157
- 00:03:157
- 00:04:736
- How about you move 00:11:841 to 00:12:631 and change to k and change 00:13:026 to d? Would be nice for structure with 00:08:289 (13,14,15) and also consistent with Kantan.
- I think you should try to make 00:16:183 (26,27,28,29,30,31) different, maybe kdd for the first pattern? Or remove 00:16:578 and 00:18:157 to have a bit lower density before the next section.
- 00:22:499 k, for consistency with Kantan.
- 00:35:131 k, same reason as ^
- 00:29:210 k, the clap is very strong.
- 00:38:683 (62,63) ctrl+g, the sound on the last note is stronger.
- Move 00:52:894 to 00:54:078 and change both this note and 00:53:683 to d, would be nice for the vocal.
- Move 01:07:894 to 01:07:105 and add a k on 01:09:473. I think something like this sounds better for the vocal.
- 01:11:052 move to 01:11:447 and change to d, if you follow the vocal you could emphasize the long sound on 01:10:657 this way.
- 01:27:828 d for consistency with 01:21:512.
- I think you should remove 01:36:512. Why change to instrument sounds when you follow the vocal all this time?
- You could move 01:47:368 to 01:47:762 and 01:48:947 to 01:49:341. This would be better for the long sounds on 01:48:552 for example and nicer for structure if you applied the changes at the beginning.
Muzukashii
Spread of this diff to Futsuu is not good. Futsuu has very low density and mostly 1/1 notes, with a few 1/2 in kiai, and muzu has longer 1/2 and 1/4 right from the beginning. You need to nerf this, especially the part from the beginning until 00:29:605. I suggest you reduce muzu notes by 50 to have a similar gap in objects between futsuu/muzu and muzu/oni. For example:

- Remove 00:01:381 (2,3,4) for emphasis of the long sound of 00:01:184.
- 00:02:960 remove
- 00:14:407 and 00:14:506 remove
- 00:15:986 and 00:16:085 remove
- 00:17:861 ^
- 00:35:526 change to k, remove both 00:35:723 and 00:35:822 and 00:35:920 D. Try to make this finish consistent across your other diffs as well.
Oni
After reducing density in muzu, you could also try to reduce a few notes in this diff.
After reducing density in muzu, you could also try to reduce a few notes in this diff.
- remove 00:02:960 and 00:03:848.
- 00:28:223 remove
- 00:29:407 ^, for nicer emphasis of the finish on 00:29:605. You could remove 00:29:802 as well.
- 01:19:144 remove and 01:19:736 for better instrument emphasis.
- Move 01:21:414 to 01:21:216 and change to d. The 1/4 in the music starts on 01:21:118 and not 01:21:315.
- You could remove 01:21:907 and move 01:22:006 to 01:22:401. You can put better emphasis on the sound of 01:21:710 that way. And 01:21:512 and 01:22:894 should both be k for the strong vocal and clap. Or just remove 01:21:710 like you did in the later patterns.
- I think 01:23:289 works better as d for the long sound, I know the vocal is strong, but the claps+vocal on 01:22:894 and 01:23:683 are stronger and you would stack too much k here otherwise.
- 01:34:539 d to make a nice kd dk with 01:33:947 (71,72). And 01:35:526 (79,80) ctrl+g would sound better for the clap+vocal on 01:35:526.
- 01:37:697 (88,89) ctrl+g for consistency with previous patterns.
Rew's Inner Oni
- If you listen carefully, 00:09:670 (45,46,47) and 00:10:065 (48,49,50) are also 1/6, not 1/4. I think you could just make them simpler for consistency and follow the melody with 1/2 and let the 1/6 be non-clickable because the song is not that intense. Because if you keep it this way my question would be "why on 00:08:091 (36,37,38,39) and not on 00:09:670 (45,46,47) if it's both 1/6 in the music". Applies to the part from 00:13:815 as well. You could try similar note density to what you mapped from 01:45:394.
- 00:30:493 should be moved to 00:30:690 for consistency within this part.
- You have some case of mapping 1/4 where there is no support in the music, for example:
- 00:43:124 should be moved to 00:43:322, the 1/4 in the music starts on 00:43:223.
- Why is 1/4 starting from 00:44:605 when there are 1/4 drum sounds right after that starting on 00:44:999? This does not sound good in my opinion.
- The doubles at 00:53:782 do not emphasize this part well, the 1/4 and strong clap are on 00:53:881. You could just move the note from 00:53:782 to 00:53:881 and it would sound much better imo.
- I don't think its a good idea to use finishes in the kiai in places like 01:23:289 and 01:26:447 because you have some 1/4 instruments that you could map here with a 5-note 1/4 starting from 01:26:052 instead of creating a forced 5-note pattern like 01:25:460 (51,52,53,54,55) where 01:25:756 does not have a sound to support it.
- 01:21:118 (19,20) ctrl+g, the sounds of 01:20:920 (18,19) are similar and you're missing out a strong clap on 01:21:315 if you leave this one as d.
- I think it would be better for emphasis if you remove 01:32:269. The sounds on 1/2 are very strong starting from 01:32:170 so a 1/2 pattern could sound nicer here.
Good luck
