That is totally not a DDOS. Its called brute forcing. Probably someone just trying to piss someone off. If it was a DOS or DDOS attack the server would have gone offline from packet overload. And disabling guest accounts wouldnt stop one.Pokebis wrote:

Regardless, there's no point in brute-forcing a vent that only ever has like six people online. If it was directly related to how the osu! community functions, there'd be a reason for those guys with the flashlight thing to attack it; but as it is, the most likely attackers would be either texan car guy or some kid that got banned once.

I was on the server for a few days then vanished completely, but I was doing other things, like playing WoW (which I'm quitting) and increased work hours (Halloween/Christmas season). I hope it's no trouble to make a new name on the server, is it?
