It really irritates me when mappers think that just because a map is a harder mode, that they can gave the map a super drain.
I've literally spent teh past ten minutes on the same map in hard mode and failed every time because I missed one slider.

hard/insane mode =/= an excuse to use a super hp drain.

If you need guest accounts to be re-enabled I suggest messaging somebody on IRC (dkun, ztrot, some others) or getting an account name/password sent to you via PM here.

Regardless, there's no point in brute-forcing a vent that only ever has like six people online. If it was directly related to how the osu! community functions, there'd be a reason for those guys with the flashlight thing to attack it; but as it is, the most likely attackers would be either texan car guy or some kid that got banned once.

...Not that it'll ever be investigated.

Anyway, guest accounts are only supposed to be temporary. Find an admin (anyone who doesn't have a [guest] or [user] tag, other than Pokebis) and ask them to make you a user.

I was on the server for a few days then vanished completely, but I was doing other things, like playing WoW (which I'm quitting) and increased work hours (Halloween/Christmas season). I hope it's no trouble to make a new name on the server, is it?

When guest accounts are locked, it's because some kid thinks he can grief.

Guest access is usually restored after a while, but sometimes no one remembers to unlock it. Ask an admin for a user account, and you'll always be able to get on.
