I also have played thousands of different maps and think mayday is boring thrash.

Aesthetically pleasing? Try ikenai borderline

Mayday offers one of the most boring gameplay that pp maps can't even begin to compete
Some of the sliders are ok, but kiai is a giant mess
With that said, I don't think the map is bad, it's just far (very) from the best map

Remember that ikenai borderline? the one in the loved section that you guys complained about that it's a unplayable art?
I would say that map is even more interesting, more aesthetically looking (the sliders are beautiful man)

Thanks to BeastTrollMC, mayfay was overrated as fucking hell

Umm… I’ve played ikenai borderline. Wasn’t really a fan since it’s pretty much unplayable at no mod speed. It’s only possible to actually hit the sliders properly at HT speed.

you don't say. but you see, even following sliderticks only is more interesting than 1/2 singletaps for like the whole fucking map

also, the mapper actually poured tons of efforts onto the sliders, whereas mayday? most are just copy pastes/random circle sliders (notably kiai)

The former is obviously worse. It feels unfair to be expected to hit so many weirdly placed ticks with dodgy hitboxes.

Pretty much any of hollow wings’ low bpm marathon shit maps is the worst. I don’t think you entirely know what boring is.

They realise it, but they won't agree with it whatsoever, and will just keep stating that their opinion is correct.

Considering their (poor) attempts at mapping, I really don't think they have any idea what they're talking about in terms of "gimmicks".

Mayday is rather repetitive in what it does, I must say. To each their own, though. Not that that can really be helped with such a repetitive song.

I don't really look at maps like this, when I play I just ask myself at the end: "did I enjoy this map?". I like Mayday though overall, it's a nice map.
