Finally,some AC14 news!It's song-unlocks again!
This time we have "KARMA tatsujin mix" from Tekken,
and Go Go Kitchen.
Huh,once again we have more songs from the rumoured
song list.Maybe Shimedore exists and Joubutsu's not
the last 2000?
Also, there's this "core remix" rumour in 2ch a long
time ago, something like 765 collabing with some music school
to remix famous 765 original songs like Fuun!Bachi osensei
and Go Go Kitchen.

Wonder if this is true?
Actually you do get break time, it's that one bit where the map suddenly turns to Normal notes where there are no notes present. It only lasts 2 bars but in a song like Joubutsu I would be happy to get any amount of rest time at all. >_>aquabluu wrote:

Don't ask me how I cleared 0:46 to 0:49 ._.
@Propeller: That makes a lot of sense, except in Joubutsu you're not given any break time unlike in nearly every other 2000 song
Hey,I think there's a vid out there with a score that pwned Mekka-Don/DJ AUTO.Propeller_Cap wrote:

Your vid is similar to my attempt with classic controller actually (screwup areas, two bars past clear point, perfect/ok note counts), except I can't get high combo counts in the song XD leaves me with a measly 490k ._.
As for 0:46-0:49 I can do the 1/3 part but keep screwing up on the 1/6's... seriously this isn't hitting the notes, it's literally MASHING them. Like I said earlier the rate you hit these notes is actually slightly more intense than Hataraku's 1/8 notes, making them way too hard to hit.
I bet no one can 999 perfect (not just FC) this song.
My suggestion is to put the song on mute the next time you play it.What the fuck? Playing a rhythm game without the music? Are you shitting me? o_o
It was scary at first but after playing it through a few times, it ain't that scary anymore.Dude it worked in reverse for me; I wasn't scared for the first 100 plays, when that moment of eerie resonation just suddenly happened. So I gone from 'it's just a song' from 'what the fuck am I hearing' instead of 'shit this is scary' to 'oh well it's just a song anyway'
I think actually it's not really recommended. Though you completely memorized the notechart, you basically need the music for tiptop accuracy (and also timing accuracy). Though the song is bitch and the notechart is bitchier, they both are key components on passing/fc jyoubutsuPropeller_Cap wrote:

Oh hey, tell me more about Technika. I found one of them lying around and decided to try because it somewhat resembles Ouendan, but failed epically (what a waste of four tokens). NOne of the songs there were familiar to me either.Zekira wrote:

Yeah there are a bunch of the newer rhythm arcade games at the front... well more like a few actually; both Technika's 1 and 2, DDRX2, some drumming game that I don't remember the title (...ther'es just so many drum games now lol), Mozarc (to my surprise it has much worse fingerprints than the technika machines), and I'm probably missing some more, but all of them have English text so meh

I'm wondering if we can have one in Spring Holidays......
Sorry my wording on that post is kind of confusing... I mean compared to the Shunyuu ura in play mode, this one is significantly easier than the other one... regular play mode is fine, not Haunted House/Pirate Ship. Star rating remains same on both.Zekira wrote:
Hm, that's odd... will test out later. Initially I thought this was something going on concerning 2P charts, but after you said that even the regular play chart messed up, that's when I suddenly got curious.
Nope; unless there was a way to play Dream Taiko Land with only 1P or 3P (which isn't likely), you're going to have to work with the 2P chart.Propeller_Cap wrote:

Then I checked on Wikihouse and found out it's a 2P chart. So it isn't my Wii messing up this time >_< What the hell, is there a way to disable it? Because it's too easy and sounds messed up...

@Zekira: I never really bothered to listen to the things behind the flute sound (all I usually hear are some really random cymbal sounds and manic drums, and of course the incinerator after the slowdown), but...wow. This is scary. I envy your score there though :/

Rotter is not just a skill test, it's a stamina test. The average player would be completely tired right before reaching the slowdown, and the 1/6 streams are terrible (I really hate the sudden (kkkkkkk)d part). BRA is a lot easier.Propeller_Cap wrote:
Umm just to break in the convo with another one of them god song discussions...
I really think there are only 3 songs suited for god: Joubutsu, Kita, and Ryougen. All 3 of these not only require tons of skill to clear, there are gimmicks placed within these songs that makes them ungodly hard to pass/FC for the average person. For me I don't do so well on any of the 3, especially Joubutsu :/ and I can't full-gauge any of these either.
Rotter Tarmination Ura really isn't god-worthy anymore because it really only tests your skill with Taiko. There's nothing really outstanding about it, except for the ending deathstream but even that is quite easy compared to the deathstreams in the above 3 songs.
Black Rose Apostle Ura shares the same case with Rotter Tarmination, in which that it also only tests skill. The difference is that there's more deathstreams, however these are even more predictable/easier than the ones above.
Hataraku only tests how well you can button/drum mash, really. This is a gimmick song, no real skill is involved unless you're trying to FC the song (which I admit, is nightmarishly hard).
Believe it or not I actually did worse on songs like Doom Noiz and Kagekiyo Ura than on Rotter Tarmination Ura and Black Rose Apostle Ura, lol. I guess I'm better at skill songs than gimmick songs...
Thanks :3crystalsuicune wrote:

I agree with you on the most part, accept for Ryougen. Because Ryougen is just retarded xDZekira wrote:
For me, actually...
...well, let's take Joubutsu out of the question first because it's pretty much a given.
Outside of that, I think Ryougen is the ONLY true god song around here.
All the other god songs concentrate majorly on only one technique, and one technique only,
but Ryougen tests every aspect of a Taiko player.
KitaSaitama2000 tests your speed.
Rotter Tarmination tests your stamina.
Hataraku tests your reading skills.
BRA Ura tests your balance.
Ryougen makes sure that you'll end up using all of these techniques at least every once in a while. And it isn't as frustrating as K.Sai to make you ragequit immediately.
Well you're not alone, because that's exactly what I think as well.Zekira wrote:
Because if I would base my comments from my own opinion, I would still say that Kita is harder than Ryougen
But I'm only one of the few who say that, and I see more people waning for Ryougen up there.
While Ryougen's notes are at least readableWhat? Compare Ryougen's gogo with Kita Sai's and I think that pretty much gives the prize for unreadability to Ryougen
