Seeing these serious replies is so cringy. He/She is obviously trolling...
being in usain bolt body would not make you faster directly, it would probably make you slower except you are himself or have been using it for a long timekiramaza wrote:

WWW is using old ass CTL-471 and at his peak he can challenge cookiezi without problem.

Topre is perfectly fine for osu!... Having played on a friend's HHKB for a couple days, I'd say it's very close to playing with Browns.MFL wrote:
well its true, u become better from practice. and u should find your most comfortable way of playing,
but keyboards do make some diffrence, Fx. Mechanical will always be better for osu than membra keyboards
That wouldn't quite work. Usain's thumb taps faster than the rubber could rebound.pandaBee wrote:
You could give usain bolt a crappy rubberdome and he would still be rank 1

No, you don't need 'good gear'. There have been plenty of people who have gotten to extremely high ranks with what could be considered 'bad' or 'low quality' gear.kiramaza wrote:
'Gear doesn't make you better' yet every player in the top 500 has very good gear. If I cared enough about the game to buy his gear (including monitor etc) Would I be on par with Cookiezi? Unlikely since he plays at-least an hour a day, but without a doubt I would achieve top 500. Practice is only worthwhile if you practice with good gear, else you just build bad habits. That's not to say practice it's bad, the game is still fun to play on it's own without the competitive aspect.
When you have good gear your only challenge is other people with good gear, thus the distinction.

For instance; idke didn't have a 144hz monitor till this week, Yaong got almost top ten with a fucking membrane keyboard, and then of course there is riviclia who plays with one of the most unconventional and quite honestly terrible setup i've ever seen.

I think I get what OP is trying to say. They want to know what gear Cookiezi uses because they know it's good. I remember when I first started at osu, and had no idea my settings were absolute trash. I was using the whole screen area, and the whole tablet area, at 0.57 sensitivity. I was trash at the game. I didn't know my settings were bad. I've recently switched to the smallest possible widescreen res with letterboxing, and upped the sensitivity to 1.67x. I went from struggling on 3* maps to being able to beat some 4.5* maps, albeit with C rank. This was in one day though. Training with the low sensitivity and no letterboxing DID help me get better at the game, but improving my settings gave me a noticable boost, and my training may have been more valuable if I had been using my current settings from the start.
I still am using a Logitech K-120 with a 2001 ViewSonic 1080p/60hz 27" monitor and a HUION 420 on a MacBook Pro, and I'm sure my performance would improve, even if only by a little bit, if I was using a powerful Windows PC with a 240hz monitor. Right now I can just barely hold up a 120fps limit. Clearly, I could improve by getting better equipment.
TL;DR: The OP wants to know what equipment Cookiezi uses, because they want to make sure their performance isn't hindered by bad equipment. And bad equipment DOES exist.
