I've deleted the Easy for now, not really impressed with the quality of that diff compared to the rest of the set, and I think ezek's diff works fine as the first difficulty. That being said, if I have to remap it, I certainly can, but I don't think I'll need to.

not going to complain about the fairly high cs because it makes DTHRFL more fun on this map :Y

00:09:386 (1,2) - Spacing between these is a bit higher than it is everywhere else, moving it to x:184 y:98 would fix it.

00:20:243 (3,4,1) - the spacing between 3 and 4 is a bit high because of the stacking, you could move 4 and 1 together down to x:328 y:87 to even out the spacing a little bit better.

00:36:815 (1,2,3) - the spacing between 1 and 2 is also a bit high due to the stacking here, you could move 2 and 3 together to x:124 y:66 to even out the spacing again.

00:12:243 (3) - Maybe instead you could ctrl+c/v 00:12:815 (4) - then ctrl+h for this slider, and put it around x:180 y:113? Would provide better symmetry and make 00:11:958 (2,3) - look somewhat smoother.

00:11:386 (8,9,1) - this pattern seemed uncomfortable, maybe make the angle less sharp, or rotate it about 100 degrees?

00:57:421 (1,2,3,1) - Are these supposed to be snapped this way? This is on the insane too so I think its supposed to be there, but it isn't on any of the GDs.

00:41:980 (1,2,3) - Maybe ctrl+g? just so it'd follow the descending pitch of the music like the previous pattern did.

00:42:574 (1,2) - Maybe ctrl+g for consistency? The previous two patterns would more suggest this to happen, regardless of if you do my last suggestion or not, and the line jumps before it were evil as is.

Alright now that my maps are nearing qualified / rank, I can move to this set.

Giving Gero his time to do his update due to irl hold ups. Gonna rework Insane a bit, not a total remap but my mapping has improved and this map just feels outdated to me. I like the Hard so I'll leave it as is until some more mods come in. @ Joezapy, thanks for the mod, will respond soon.

ok this is a pretty well structured map I dig it
00:13:976 (1,2) - ghost noted and it fits but perhaps a longer slider started on the white tick would work better I think the current pattern fit better.
00:41:404 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - only thing is I think the spacing on this particular pattern could be tuned down or at least rotated for some variation there Fixed.

  • 00:07:976 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4) - having a stream start here is kind of out of place considering the music, if it were to start here i'd personally add some kick sliders / repeat sliders and make the volume not as loud You're right, but I prefer to keep it as is because it's an extra after all.
    00:13:976 (1,2) - this could just be a repeat instead of two kicksliders, not to mention the kicksliders are kind of really awkward in terms of their position in relation to 00:14:261 (3) - and ya What I've said about it.
    00:16:261 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - [TV Size] Uh?
    00:18:547 (1,2,3,4,5) - going into a triangle from your back and forths is awkward as hell considering it's literally the opposite direction of 00:18:261 (1,2) - the last jump here, not to mention less spaced even though it's a lot more intense than the build-up
    00:22:404 (2,3) - pretty underwhelming stack tbh, 00:22:547 (3,4) - blanketing like this would be better i think Changed.
    00:23:404 (2,3,4) - i'm sad you didn't make these sliders different for the woof :( Added NCs instead.
    00:26:761 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - that start of the stream literally screams awkward as fuck, remove 00:26:761 (1) - and space out 00:26:833 (2) - from the slider end a bit more I don't think is that bad imo.
    00:27:976 (2,3,5,6) - more underwhelming stacks zzz you can do a lot more with the rhythm here in terms of jumps Changed.
    00:29:261 (2,3) - i'd also say here as well but this isn't as bad Alright.

    that entire rhythm during that pattern is consistent, i can understand the sort of build-up jump pattern you had previously for this section but 00:29:976 (1,2) - why is this such a huge jump in comparison to the star jump? makes no sense rhythmically and playability-wise it's kind of pushing it for a 105 (technically 210 i guess) bpm song Changed.

    00:41:404 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - ok starting the separate star patterns at 00:41:976 (1) - this is like complete shit, i'd just start the patterns where you left off from on the last note in the pattern (1 starts on 3 etc), makes a neat full star instead of whatever the half stars you got here are
    00:45:975 (5,6) - this should be the beginning of a new pattern instead of a continuation of the previous one, you'd basically have a patterning like this in terms of nc and different patterns with those ncs Reworked them.
    00:50:404 (3,4) - im seriously not understanding a lot of these stacks and their placements so i'm just going to stop mentioning them, i'm assuming it's just a stylistic aspect of the map You've got it now.
    00:55:119 (1,2,1,2) - you could do a jump here instead of sliders like you did with the other section like this, kind of feels bland considering this is one of the more intense parts of the song It's okay as is.
    00:56:833 (1) - unnecessary nc Removed.

  1. Reduce AR to 9,4/9,3 imo I want to keep it as is, sorry.
  2. Change OD to 9 since this map will mostly be played by more experienced people so making OD higher will make it somewhat easier for them Changed.
  3. Consider changing HP to 6,5/6 to give HR players a easier time Changed.
  4. 00:47:833 (6,1) - consider giving this jump more spacing because of the sounds I don't want to ruin the aesthetics of this part, so I'd like to keep them as is.

00:20:261 (1,2) - on diff like this can just use bigger circle jumps for more pressure/build up, would go well with previous jump patterns, sliders like this are too easy. You make big jumps later on anyway. I think that two sliders works just fine.

00:13:386 (3,4) - I personally don't think this flows very good, because it completely aims in the opposite direction of the next note, and the player has to move slightly faster than the speed of the slider so even if, the player can't keep up. I have a couple ideas to improve this part. You could change 3 into a curved slider, making it slightly above where 1 is, or you could bring 4 closer in so the player doesn't need to suddenly change speed to hit the note.
00:15:101 (6) - I personally don't think this is a good time to change the direction of the flow because you have a much stronger beat at 00:13:958 - which could be done I suggest ctrl+g on 1 and 2, and then making 00:13:958 (1) - the bottom slider so the flow matches up with 6.
00:22:386 (2) - I don't see a reason to make this not much farther from the other similar parts of the song. I suggest you blanket this note with 1 so it's a rotation of 3 and 4.
00:58:957 (2) - I recommend you put an NC here for easier readability. Because of the NC pattern you chose, the player could mistaken these 3 notes as 1/2.

Since it's an odd number of stanzas, it'll end up on it's same side when it comes back, and in my personal opinion, it makes more sense for notes to face towards the next note. (With minor exceptions.) Second reason: Having the reverse arrow covered is un-rankable. (4 covers it if you don't know what I'm talking about.)
00:38:386 (4) - I don't see any sort of circular flow here. I suggest moving this note down to y:181 x:356 Because now the player is moving in a circular motion, and it still has the same spacing to 5 as your original idea.
00:39:101 (1,2) - I don't think the flow is very good here, because the sliders are so long and so fast, the player can't take advantage of slider leniency. I suggest copying 1 and pasting it over where 2 is, and ctrl+ g 2 so the player has a chance to snap to it.

from 00:57:386 - here on it kinda sounds a bit offtimed, not by much like 1/16 later fits better, prob best to double check it with someone its only a bit noticable for me on the first and final note but prob best this gets adresssed before qualification

  1. 00:18:529 (1,2,3) - some quite hard flow here it fits with the music but would make it a bit easier since its the easiest diff in the set
  2. 00:24:243 (3) - goes bit offgrid but should be fine still, mentioning it incase you wanna play it safe by makng minor adjustments

@Joezapy: The sliders are flips from each other.

@Bubblun AR6 is perfectly fine for this diff.. It's a very low BPM and people will still be playing this by alternating. Also I see no reason to change the pattern at 24 seconds. It isn't even difficult or awkward to play. If people have trouble playing this, they need to go back to Normals.

@Realazy I don't want to overload the player with 3 triplets in a row, to be honest, i should probably use another slider here so they only have to play one triplet, but I'll leave for now.

@Wishkey I guess I'll fill in the gap for the first thing. Not really a fan of having it start on part of the previous combo and end on nothing, but whatever to that. Also the 1.2 ds gap thing you mention is consistent with the other parts of the map.

@Space The node is locked on the tick, and the stacking is intentional.

@Hobbes2 yes u can name every diff watever u want just add extra/expert at the end lol that ranking criteria thing doesnt say its not rankable also the fact that this thing have multiple ex diffs make its fine to name it something cool to represent mapping style in each dif cuz extras are very variable

Hey guys, I know I've been neglecting this set and I'm super sorry. I will do my best to rank it in the coming months; I appreciate the effort my GDers have placed in this set and want to rank the set accordingly; not really feeling very proud of my diffs but I'll keep them since I kinda have to lol

Thanks for sticking around, I'll let you guys know when I'm back to getting mods on this. I have to respond to the ones above of course, and then I might start looking for BNs when I do that.

00:39:101 (1,2) - Hmm are you sure about this placement? It looks like a faux pseudo blanket type thing, in my opinion if it was further down like http://arf.s-ul.eu/QnqNragP it might look better. It stands out to me as the one place in the map where the nice structure is a little odd looking

00:44:815 (4,5) - Blankets and stuff if you care about that sort of thing, I see and appreciate the symmetrical patterning but maybe it can done both symmetrically and bundled up for the winter? Up to you, I know some people don't give a hoot and that's fine
00:52:815 (1,5) - It surprised me a little that these two weren't symmetrical like 99% of the other things in the map, popped out at me while playtesting in fact. I see 6 up there being symmetrical with 5 but I dunno, you could make all of them the same rotated shape

I know it's quite slow BPM but I have some difficulty accepting it as an Advanced, it's a very well made map no doubt but many triples and stuffs like 00:58:815 (6) - put me in mind of things you'd see more in a Hard type difficulty. Things have probably changed since I started osu! but triples were some of the things I had most trouble with in the beginning especially triples followed by more triples. I get the feeling your intended audience will singletap spam their way through most of the three beat patterns in this map, not alternate since the BPM doesn't force them to learn to alternate. Might be worth renaming this to Hard and the Hard to Hyper or something of the sort, since I feel the Hard is also a bit much for a Hard. Up to you.

What I up there about my feelings that these diffs are a shade above what you'd expect them to be. The large spacing ideas in the map play well but puts me in mind more of Light Insanes if I'm honest, BPM notwithstanding. Good diff though
00:11:386 (8,9,1) - Hmm yeah see I guess Hard players could probably hit these nowadays but I'm not 100% on it being a true Hard diff pattern
00:12:672 (4,5) - Have you considered swapping the positions of 4 and 5? 3 leads right into where 5 currently is so if 4 were located there it could have a nice movement in my opinion.
00:18:529 (1,2,1,2) - I'm also unsure about the spacing on these little jumps. Consider having each "2" a little closer to their respective sliders?
00:20:243 (1) - Make this point at "2", like http://arf.s-ul.eu/cpWAlAmL?
00:55:386 (3) - Similarly this jump was a little shocking during playtesting, felt really sudden and jarring. Consider just making them a regular triangle like the others, even the pattern directly after it has consistent spacing

00:30:815 (4,5,6) - Little difficult to read at first glance as you expect the pattern of sliders to continue with the note being there but slightly hidden so you can't tell it's not a slider. Especially egregious imo since at 00:37:386 (3,4,5,6,7) - the pattern doesn't change and you're expecting it to change because that's what the previous overlapping slider pattern did :c Or it could be me trying to look for consistency everywhere every how :<
00:41:683 (2,1) - Are you sure about this? The pattern being different by so much between 00:42:574 (1,2,3) - and 00:41:386 (1,2,1) - feels really strange. If you were trying to ease the player into the new BPM I guess I get that, but it feels really strange to have this low spacing pattern here for this sounds, especially with 00:55:100 (1,2,3,4,5) - later in the map. You have an abundance of jumps in the map already but maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a couple more.
00:43:672 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I like this
00:55:957 (1) - I think the bottom pont could move to the right side more, makes it look a bit better imo

Sorry I couldn't really find much, and I don't trust myself to mod difficulties that I can't play properly. There's not a lot to find in the difficulties without contradicting the style each mapper was going for (or seems to be going for) and that would just make for an even more useless mod. I hope this was enough, good luck with your map!

  1. 00:07:958 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4) - These sounds are way too loud at the start, which makes it seem like it is over-mapped :( Add the green timing point to some of those notes. Change the hitsound volume for from low to high in the beginning because the rhythm needs to be expanded more. Also, maybe try changing distance between each stream from low to high as well, or you could also change 00:07:958 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - to a 1/4 back and forth slider.
  2. 00:13:958 (1,2) - Why did you put these 1/8 sliders here? Honestly, I'd change 00:13:958 (1) - to a 1/4 slider because it makes more rhythmical sense. Besides, these 2 are the only 1/8 sliders you put throughout the song and I don't think it fits that part.
Btw, Like Gero's Spooky Tales on 00:07:958 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,1) - I would want to change all the streamy or 1/4 reverse slider hitsound volumes in the beginning of the song for all the difficulties on Expert, Voli's Ominous Extreme, Kenter's Extra, and Insane from low to high because it would really help a lot with the rhythm.

eh, my diffs on this are just so bad

fortunately this song is super short so I can remap everything pretty fast. Still love all the GDers diffs so I don't want this to die. I'll try getting this ranked on Halloween, so expect me to work on this in a few months.
