It's been more than a week, and I take full blame for the slowness of the progress. I've reformatted my computer in the middle of that duration out of trying to remove the spywares/malwares, and lost all the files in the process. I've been trying to restore all the files since then, and I still am looking for which stuff I'm missing.
Granted, I've delayed this project for too long. I'll stop recovering my files for the sake of this, then.
Here are my comments on the two latest audition pieces. Just so I don't delay this project once more, I'll let neo@lex decide by his post who gets in.
Starrodkirby86 - You said it right when you said you shouldn't have rushed. Lots of noise in the background, and it sounds like you're not putting effort into this. Some problems with hitting the notes, as well. Due to rushing, you sometimes slip on the pronunciation. Not a good run, imho. 2/5
MarioBros777 - Needs a lot of work on pronunciation, and you can't hit those low notes. Those breath pauses are awkwardly placed; try a run of the song first and see when you should be breathing to avoid those voice strains. 2/5

Well basically it sounds like you're speaking into the mic. I can hear you fine, and actual volume doesn't matter, but it just doesn't sound like you're really singing.

So yeah, I'd usually prefer stand-alone mics over headphone ones because you can adjust the distance between the mic and your mouth. Makes it for that right volume without making it sound like you're giving it a blowjob.

The point is that you must be able to reduce the unwanted noise while keeping the quality of your record. The best way to do that is, simply, having a good environment where no one will bother you and keeping a good distance from your mic.MarioBros777 wrote:

Besides Mario and Kirby, I know that Beuchi and Agnes have been trying to record their auditions (and have great singing voices to boot; also moar females).
All auditions submitted before the post accepting the tenth is made will be looked over, regardless of how many there are.
There isn't a maximum amount of singers, but this process has taken so long that I'd like to get things started soon.

Thanks for carrying over, neo. I was worried the collab wouldn't push through, and I couldn't check because of the job.
Anyway, I checked MB777 and whole-heartedly agree with your decision of finally letting him in. He's done better in the last audition piece, and though I found some minor flaws, they can be easily corrected as we actually start rehearsing.
Like what neo said, deadline's just around the corner. If you want to invite more people to audition, you should do so now.

I kinda liked to know what those flaws were.
