hows this gonna work..
I use a photoshop rule to recolour them and it worked quite well.
i managed to recolour all coloured elements in one go (~2mins) but some of them are a bit discoloured
my flow is
1. separate 'coloured' and 'not coloured' files into folders
2. batch colour the 'coloured' files using PS
3. touchup the discoloured elements (i have a list-in-the-making of these)
4. copy and merge them back together IN A SEPERATE folder for testing, to keep the backup
5. fix up any problems in the test
6. colour the options folder the same way
i could give you the dropbox where all skin assets are stored...

I would seperate the elements as well and batch recolour all elements that are a solid colour with the new colour, then do the ones with drop shadows and other black areas myself. But your workflow sounds much faster-yuo- wrote:

Minor Heads up The Wrong files are in the "UI > Cursor Trail > Off" Folder. Great Work So far by the way. Have you considered making a webpage dedicated to previewing "Presets" of the skin? Or at-least providing comparison images in a custom settings folder.
Edit: One other reccomendation, I find the "Simple" Spinner to still be too distracting, so I removed the blur, the the Spin message (Ive played this game before I know what to do when I see a spinner). A provided "Unmarked Simple" spinner would be cool to see.

Alright, I actually had to do a few more things to make this usable for me. I used the old circular hit-bursts without the animated frames for the miss icon, I used the single filled dot for the hit100k, hit300k, and hit300g. Even the take 1 and take 2 icons are too distracting (personally). I also liked the new interaction sounds, but after about 30 seconds had to delete them due to how repetitive they became. offering sounds that dont drag on for as long and stay more in the background is a must.
To provide for detail for the audio. The click-short, and menuclick tracks repeat there "tick" sound more than once, resulting in extra feedback for interactions not being made. Shortening them down to one tick got rid of 50% of the anxiety I was getting. For tracks like key-movement, menuback, menuhit, pause-back-click, pause-continue-click, pause-retry-click, sectionfail, sectionpass, select-difficutly, reducing the reverb or attenuation (im not sure what the correct term is) down to about 15% of what it currently is would allow me to actually use them.

sorry for the looooongg delay in progress, I've come to a critical time of my life which means I would need to focus and workloads have skyrocketed. if any chance comes where I can skin, I will, but this is quite rare so sorry about this.

First, wanna say that this skin is gORGEOUS and it's replacing my long time use of Yugen! After playing with it I did some editing that I believe improve readability (and some recolors because you haven't got to that yet). The shadows on the hitcircles and the approach circles, for me at least, make it a tad more difficult to read. Same goes for the scorebar, but you have an option to remove, which is much appreciated! I think options for these to be replaced in preferences would help out some people. I also would opt for white hitcircle overlays as another option. One last thing- an option for a non-blurred versions and just fadeout with tilt of the hit scores would be awesome. This skin is already stunning, and I look forward to even more updates in the future!
Edit: Oh P.S.- idk if you want it, but I currently recolored most the accent to a blue similar to the one you had as an option, so if it'd help you can have my edits

i havent encountered this problem myself and apart from the cathcer not being centered i dunno what the problem could be

i see it's trying to brighten up and make things glow. Turn off shaders or whats it called in settings?
I dont see that this is a skinning issue but more on your side... My skins do put the graphics card under more pressure than other skins though, so maybe thats why.

Well hi there
so
my house got robbed. yay. My laptop which i skin on has been stolen, which is annoying. Fourtunatley i still have all skinning work and resources in the cloud or with me on my backup drive, so i could slowly recover.
Im on my school-issued surface pro right now so at least i still have some form of life to hold onto, but at the moment i'll need to adjust to ehhem... windows. and this really annoying surface. gees.
so yeh, im mostly all good, just a notice of delay right here.
Please hope that i could find them again, that would be nice, but otherwise i'm happy with what i have right now.

no need to be too harsh, they where probably desperate and unstable... but we all know and think about stealing anyway but dont actually go with it so guess its just a human thing.

When you released the pink skin for testing, -yuo-, I found a couple bugs when I tried it.
1. The osu!mania looks different from the original green skin locationwise
2. The text box next to the mode select screen’s title still says Nightgate Green.

other than that i havent touched anythyng else.
of course some elements will be off whack because it is an automatic process, so i still need to fixup some elements and add support for everything in the options and setup.
but now, i have exams coming up, no decent computer and wayy too much extra work. Skinning is probably my life in the future but not now so i'm gonna focus on now right now. Sorry for the looooonnnggg wait, school life you know?

lots of things have happened for the past many months, but as the year ends i will slowly accelerate to the regular speed with progress.
as i get older i will probably gain more work, and that would take priority simply because its more important to life.. sorry if that sucks, i think it does too.
Lots of red dots to kill for the pink version! thats not even all of them, probably gonna take a while™ but i'll slowly catch up as my work load decreases (and probably will increase again soon.)

LINKS FIXED
After collecting a heap of dust, I finally had the time to fixup the links. mmm don't know what to say, but I hope those who where waiting and annoyed pick this up and get what they want.
I'm really sorry for the long absenses, even more personal stuff has blown up and so skinning was affected greatly. I don't promise anything, but skinning is still on my mind and I hope to dish out the new voez (teaser buried somewhere up there in the comments) *sometime in the future*
Thanks for your support, till then. (lol it might be a week or a month or a year, I hope i can come back soon, because skinning is just something i like to do, and because you all love it as well.)
Also, I'd prefer people not mirror my skins / download from mirrors, but since I'm rarely available and my skins have a high demand, I suppose emergencies are okay. I may not comment but I read every post!
