It should be noted that:
A. I'm really good at this game, and I have a lot of SS's and 1 100 scores. and
B. Some of the scores you took a screenshot of were actually me testing this chart. and
C. Not every score you see there is with the correct mod.

Basically we need a ranking chart for the rest of the playerbase as well. The current ranking chart system favours the top few godlike players too much while leaving everyone else impossible to win.

Tiers, that's what. Each month, ranking charts for certain ranks.

Ranks 1-200

Ranks 201-500

Ranks 501-1000

Ranks 1001-5000

Ranks 5001+

Problem with that is your current rank isn't always indicative of skill. There's a degree of correlation but that's it. Some really pro players who've just not done so many maps, or played it a while back and stopped will be in the lower ranks and easily crush anyone else in the same range. Also what if someone crosses ranks? If during a play of all the maps in say, the 1001-5000 chart, you briefly peek at #972, are you going to start hoping your rank falls below #1000 again so you qualify?

I'm not saying I'll be a winner, but for those that do end up in the top 3, what if they already have the donation tag? Can they give away that prize? I'm asking because I know its very possible to win and already have it.

Even if you can't win, isn't it fun to at least try and see how high you can rank? I usually don't play charts since I either A) don't play much due to uni; B) already played some of the songs when they were ranked; or C) feel that it's useless to compete when the same pro players win each month. However, a special chart like this using old classics with a new spin should be fun to attempt, no? :p

A certain account join date limit, like registered two months ago to be able to participate, and an activity limit (must have a certain amount of map plays per month, maybe 300?). I guess that would work? And restrict the "big prizes" to the top tiers. The skill thing is true, yeah. About the "peeking", I was thinking about staying in the tier that you first started in even if you go into a higher one during the month.

I really don't understand people who give up even before they try.

NOBODY KNOWS WHO WILL WIN THESE CHARTS PEOPLE, it's not like Cookiezi can DT HD FL a song and get 2 million poinst more than you.

The mods in this chart are not that challenging, if you try hard enough anyone over a certain ability level have a chance of winning this chart.

If you truly don't think you can win, QUIT WHINING HERE BECAUSE THAT MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE AN EFFING LOSER.

Yes, cookiezi can indeed have been won in the Monthly Ranking Chart
However, if limited 1mod, the end result will be difficult to predict
Such as Lybydose's FL,KanbeKotori's HR,LirsRosso's HD,tana's none
It appears this will be more pro to participate in.
Really like a war

I want to see shaggon will participate in this chart
His none/HD/FL/HR is very powerful,and I have not seen him for a long time to play the map with mod :(

Hmmm. This seems pretty interesting. I'm gonna take a shot at Top3.
But I have a question, if a song is on the chart and you've already played that song before, does that score count towards your chart score? Or do you have to re-do the song and get another score on it?

How do you guy's check out who played with mod's in the mod section and who not?
Dose banchbot just take the scores if you play with the mods? Or do you need to check it manual(omg)?
Never played the charts, so I dunno.

For the sake of simplicity, let's say that it's Bancho. Bancho is smart and can tell who played what song with what mod (and when), so it filters out all the scores that don't count, and totals up all the scores that do count.

This chart is a great idea, though I think it should include at least 2 or 3 impossibly insane maps, maybe like Made of Fire and Ievan Polkka Trance Remix, just to avoid spinners wars, since those kind of maps will never (well, at least it's not likely to) be SS'd.

Btw, Shaggon, you're a monster.
