Sorry for being late on the Weekly Lottery Queue

To everybody who is making Easy - Hard I forgot to mention within the mods: Keep in mind most suggestions are there to be more friendly towards the people this is directed to, if you think something plays fine because you think it's fine doesn't mean that beginners will think the same way as you

[Easy]

00:09:668 (3,4) - This was most likely placed intentionally this way to make 00:11:168 (4) - different but the visual flow is really off on this
00:09:668 (3) - NC? Since you NCed every 2 measures, this one should be consistent too, even if the combo only goes to 2
00:25:793 (2,3,4) - There is no reason really to end the sliders on downbeats. The vocals on the end of the sliders aren't really less intense than the vocals on the slider heads so the downbeats should be prioritized
00:27:668 (1) - Why not make this a more complicated slider shape? This straight slider looks really plain in comparison to the song
00:38:543 (2,3) - Again, I don't see a reason for the slider ending on a downbeat, especially when the vocal there is stronger than the vocal on the slider head
00:50:918 (2) - Same as above, these slider end on downbeats make no sense to me, the vocal is definitely more intense on the downbeat so that should be clickable
01:02:168 (1,2,3,4) - Why isn't this consistent with this 00:50:168 (1,2,3,4) - ? There is no reason as to why not.
01:11:168 (3) - 01:23:168 (3) - Same about the NC as above

Just something I noticed, your flow looks really edgy right now, consider making some points flow more smooth (like here 00:13:418 (2,3,4) - , all are straight slider, doesn't flow so good for beginners and looks really off)
00:04:418 (2,3) - Just for the aesthetics, why not blanket these?
00:15:293 (4) - There should be a 1/2 slider here imo since the song gets a bit more intense
00:27:668 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Why not continue the 1/1 slider pattern like here 00:24:668 (1,2,3,4) - ? Would fit better here imo because the song doesn't get much more intense to add a diff spike
00:36:668 (8,1) - Switch NC to be consistent with the NC every 2 measures
00:40:418 (1) - It's not good to ignore the vocals here with this long slider, this part deserves to be mapped, even for a normal
00:46:418 (3) - What is this consistently snapped too? The head has no vocal but the tail does, so this feels weird

00:05:730 (2,3,4) - This sequence is really confusing because the distance between 00:05:730 (2,3) - and 00:06:105 (3,4) - is the same, yet the time between objects is different for no reason, which also brings me to this, why not map this obvious beat 00:06:293 - ?
00:09:668 (1,2,3) - Why is the DS between objects different, this 00:09:668 (1,2) - and this 00:10:043 (2,3) - have the same sounds, so why is 00:10:043 (2,3) - more emphasized?
00:18:668 (1,2,3) - For aesthetics, make 00:19:418 (3) - a bit further away from the tail of 00:18:668 (1) - . doesn't look too neat
00:21:293 (4,1) - Even if you wanted to keep constant DS here, this deserves more emphasis

00:13:418 (3,4) - This antiflow movement doesn't fit with the song imo, it comes rather unexpected
00:19:043 (2,3) - Again here as above ^
00:36:668 - 00:45:668 - The jumps between this part feel bigger than the part before that, any reasons for this? This part is noticeably less intense than that part
00:50:168 (1) - This has a custom hitsound I noticed, why don't the other diffs include this (or at least wasy)?
Also, the kiai needs more consistency imo
00:50:918 (5,6) - The distance here isn't as big as DS says, this combination is really easy for this diff and feels like small forced movement. You did use this more in the kiai, but it doesn't fit here imo
00:59:730 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - This stream feels really sudden because the vocals are more obvious here and doesn't really emphasize the vocals, what about two kicksliders or sth like that to make the vocals more emphasized?
01:00:480 (1,1) - I'd increase distance between objects for more readability, also, one of these NCs is rather unnecessary
01:08:730 (2,2,2) - These sliders don't fit here because they don't follow the obvious vocals here. Even if this was not meant to follow the vocals, it feels weird leaving the vocals out here
01:17:168 (1,2,3,4) - This placement doesn't represent the build up correctly since the distance between objects are pretty much the same
01:18:293 (4,1) - Also, this doesn't have the emphasis it deserves imo

I did check the other diffs and I thought they were fine generally speaking, but I do have some comments about the diffs
Frost's Insane: This diff played rather well I'd say, but some parts really played better than others, as in like, the rather big jumps at the start and the end were the only thing that made me feel like this was 4.5*

Dream: Also played fine, but I felt like it could work more on flow, emphasis and aesthetics

I really like this song, so I decided to mod it.

Easy

-01:02:918 (2) A bit of a nitpick, but I don't like how this slider is pointing to the top of the grid, which is opposite of the direction of flow. Maybe change it so it curves downwards instead of upwards. Otherwise, this difficulty is pretty polished and neat.

Moei's Normal

This difficulty is also pretty polished.

Broken's Hard

-00:02:168 (1,2,3,4,5) This pattern looks a bit messy to be honest. Imo, it would look better in a star-like pattern, sort of like this

but a little less sloppy.

-00:08:168 (1) I'm pretty sure this slider is supposed to be mapping the held-down guitar note, but you didn't map the same sound at 00:08:730 (2,3) with a one-beat slider as well, and this inconsistency bothers me a bit. Changing this to a half-beat slider and a circle like 00:08:730 (2,3) would be consistently mapping the drums, or changing 2 and 3 with a one-beat slider like this one would be consistently mapping the guitar, either of which are better than what you currently have now imo.

-00:15:668 (1,2,3) Imo, you should choose to either stack all half-beat circles or space them all out because trying to incorporate both stacking and spacing indicates a lack of consistency in mapping to me.

-00:28:230 (3) Maybe space this out more from 2 since you mapped the elongated vocal at 00:21:668 (1) with a jump.

-00:39:668 (1,2) I would add circles on the red ticks after these sliders, because having a break in pace with the one-beat pauses like this right when the song is building up is unfitting (also, if you're doing this to map the vocals, there are vocal sounds on the unmapped red ticks as well, so it still feels wrong in that regard.)

-00:48:855 (2) This should just be a circle since there's no sound you would want to map at 00:49:043 and you really want to emphasize the guitar here with mapping only the bare essentials.

-01:01:793 (5) I don't know why there's a jump here since I don't here anything that needs that much emphasis. If anything, its 01:02:168 (1) that deserves a jump because that's when the singer starts singing again and it indicates the start of the 2nd half of the chorus.

-01:04:418 (5) This is a lyric just like 01:03:480 (4,1,2,3,4), so I really feel it should be jumped to like the rest of the star pattern and not just stacked behind 01:04:230 (4).

-01:14:730 Although it isn't a lyric, I would suggest adding a circle here since mapping every white and red tick with something but just leaving this one random tick empty breaks the pace for me when its unneeded and you're only loosely following the lyrics anyways.

-01:21:668 (1) See 00:08:168 (1)

Insane

-00:01:980 (6) I don't understand why this isn't stacked under 00:01:418 (5) like 00:00:668 (3,4) and 00:02:918 (5,6). It just seems inconsistent to me.

-00:06:668 (1,2) The distance between these too seems excessively small, especially when compared to 00:08:168 (1,2) and 00:08:730 (3,4).

-00:07:230 (3,4) ^

-00:22:230 (2,3) When pretty much every pair of half-beat sliders is blanked (like 00:14:168 (1,2)) or at least facing different directions (like 00:17:168 (1,2)), having these sliders facing the same direction is pretty inconsistent and doesn't play as well as the above examples where you can simply follow the sliders in a circle-like rotation.

-00:52:418 (5,6) It doesn't play badly, but it could play better if 5 was flipped horizontally and 6 was reversed (and maybe spaced more from 5 to keep the jump) sort of like this

because having 5 and 6 going the same direction is kind of awkward flow and not that fluid imo.

-00:01:418 (4,5) The jump at 4 doesn't need to be there since there isn't anything you would really want to emphasize there, so I would recommend to reverse selection here.

-00:13:043 (2) You seem to be emphasizing the snare sounds (the ones hit-sounded with a clap) with jumps in this verse, so it would make sense to have a jump here too.

-00:19:418 (4) This slider goes against the counter-clockwise rotation in this part of the verse, so you might want to considering swapping slider's start and end or something similar.

-00:48:293 (5) I dislike this jump here since the increase in spacing is too large and too sudden (the preceding section should at least hint at such a drastic jump with increased spacing, but it doesn't) and the beat its mapping isn't nearly as important as the guitar hit at 00:48:855 (2) yet this jump is considerably larger than that one.

The outro, starting at 01:19:605, is the section I have the most problems with. This map as a whole plays like a 4.10 star map (in fact, if you take out the outro, it is just a 4.09 star map) but then when the outro hits (which by the way is basically the same as the intro) you throw in these insane jumps that should have been in the chorus that just recklessly increase the difficulty, and when playing it I definitely wasn't expecting the jumps to be this extreme. You should heavily nerf the jumps in the outro because a .5 increase in star difficulty in ten seconds is just too much.

Dream

-00:07:230 (3) There should be a bigger jump to this circle imo since its mapping a pretty important part of the music (the guitar hit) while a simple drum hit at 00:07:605 (5), for instance, gets a much larger jump when it doesn't need it as much.

I personally think that this section is much more intense than the chorus, especially the end of the outro. The chorus jumps and the jumps at the beginning of the outro aren't very different in spacing because of their similar intensities, while the end of the outro is much more spaced because of the increasing intensity.

Changing this to a half-beat slider and a circle like 00:08:730 (2,3) would be consistently mapping the drums, or changing 2 and 3 with a one-beat slider like this one would be consistently mapping the guitar, either of which are better than what you currently have now imo. I personally don't really like doing 1/1 sliders from a red tick to red tick, no change, although I'll consider doing it, seems really reasonable to do

i don't like how you abandoned the structure you had in the first intro with the guitars in this section 01:23:714 - in favor of triangles, but i guess it kinda fits cuz the notes are in sets of 3. however, i think you should change it. but how else will i make it an insane instead of a light insane?!?!? :thinking: (i'd prefer not to if possible because it's very high quality ofc ~~but we'll see i guess~~)
