One day i was just googling random pictures of random things until i somehow got to googling 'birds in hats' and i came across a very cool forum.
This forum had many many pictures of birds in hats, as the name implies, I really really loved the pigeon in the tophat, plus I was also in need of a name change on steam so from that point on I decided that 'Tophat Pigeon' was going to be my name.
(Don't know why im replying to posts that are 2 years old :P)

I was looking for a clean, simple name because my previous name(s) in general were a huge mess. Anyways, I saw this name being used on some Call of Duty 4 server, I immediately liked it and sticked to it.

Well, my username was NaruAyase2195. It had "NaruAyase" without spaces since it came from Naru Ayase from Pretty Rhythm: Rainbow Live.


And I put 2195 for some reason...just because I felt nostalgic about the first NT build of Windows, which is Windows 2000 build 2195...


And yeah, I'd just stick with it until I can think of the username change for now.

When I was younger (2012 or so?) I would watch a lot of the Minecraft let's plays on Youtube (cringy I know..) and there was a guy in one of them called "neonninja" so I just kinda stole his name as my own. Yeah, pretty great story I know.

So it was a name of this Echo(from Pandora Hearts) rip-off OC i made when I though that nanonii was a coolieo nickname. I used that as my Osu user and I kinda wanna change it cause heck I have too many online aliases.

I didn't come up with my username myself, it also doesn't mean anything really. From my understanding it's also a name used in some foreign countries so eh. in 8th grade my friend invited me into an online game "bitefight" (terrible game but we didn't know any better :P), I was strougling with my character's name, chose a vampire. Out of nowhere my friend was like "why not Kujar" so I went with it. I made a friend in game called "Kraven2", we became good friends so I renamed to "Kraven3", on my second character I went with "Kujar3" and that stuck with me for well... like 10 years now. I use this username in any community ever since.

Ok. First post in G&D, feel honored.

Anyways:

There's this game based on browsers but playable on mobile called Neptune's Pride: Triton. Back then I was using the name "Pentagonizer" (portmanteau) as my real name. Wanted to have a different username though, it was taken by someone else.
One day I decided to make an alias: my username. Enetro is a corruption of "entropy", but I put the DJ to make it sound cool, like DJ TOTTO and others

In my opinion they are so much fancier than quebecers (not an actual word) and since i'm from QB myself, i named myself zero manners..

I thought of a real word, then made up a random word, and put them together. Took me a grand total of 42 seconds. :^)

This account was created when I was just graduated from high school so the username may look quite silly.

Arctos is romanized άρκτος in Greek, meaning "bear";
Sagittario is Italian for "archer"ーwell, I was going for Latin initially, but sagittarius doesn't look as cool.

So there you have it, archer bear, combination of my favorite traditional military branch and 2nd favorite beast in an 8th-grader-syndrome way.

Btw my favorite beast is tiger. It's been turned down because tiger in Greek (τίγρις, or tigris) looks not very far from English, which is less cool imo lol.

N-No... i-i-it's not like that... that... bear... *sigh* what can I say...

I copied zjehh (zje) from bananzje, a CoD2 player back in about 2k8.(?)

My username is kinda interesting since it comes from two japanese words: "Neko" and "Kitsune". I just removed 2 letters from the end of Neko and 2 letters from the start of Kitsune and combined them, resulting to NeTsune.

My name is basically the same as one character of Dome x Kano Manga. I didn't really think much about usernames so I picked whatever came to mind at that moment, I thought it was a funny name so I picked it. After 2 years of using it I would definitely like to change it but oh I don't dislike it.

Well...'Aero Elecques' is just the incomplete form, it's actually 'Aero Sivirian Neoro Elecques'
Aero is a Greek prefix for 'air' or 'flight' , in a way it shows that...sometimes I just want to be free from binds, to embrace what I am, heck I want to be writer but there's a load of things that makes it impossible.

Sivirian is a reminder of my dog, who is a Siberian, Rest In Peace my feline companion.

Neoro is also a reminder of my old username, Neo.

And finally Elecques, is like my actual real name, hard to pronounce.

So...yeah, that's how I got my username, shame I can't use the full one.

Quite a long story to be honest,

but to put it short, childhood dream game, supersmash brothers brawl, i'd always choose mario, owned basically every single mario game before selling it all, and "FST" being the name of a company an old accomplice used to own... pretty strange tbh.

Before this I was under the alias of "Mariofan1" as seen in my signature. Pretty obvious what that means :3

My middle name is Bjorn (pronounced Byorn). It's Norwegian for bear. I found a random adjective generator and just kept going until i got something that applied to me and sounded decent. I also go by Jobless Ducky(I just like ducks) and Joobels. I almost always use Joobels now. pretty much everyone who didn't know my real name would call me jobless so I just shortened it to Joobels cause I though it sounded good. Pretty boring I guess.

My old username was Pixelated_Panda, but that was way too long. I had a few friends in my Discord that I had met a few years back when I made YouTube videos actively, and I had a server with all of them in it. One of them, (his username is DrHectix on osu), started calling me Pundice but prounounced "Pun Dice", and I honestly don't know why he called me it. But I took it, and changed the pronounciation to "Pun-diss". And that's how I got my username. :D

When I was playing Tube Tycoon I had to think of a name and I was like "I need a really cool looking name". So I took the coolest letters in the alphabet (x, y and z), put them together with e and r to form Zeryx and then I capitalized some letters just for the looks. And when I wanted to name my osu account it told me that ZeRyX was too short, so added these [ ].
(Actually I wanted to make a new account named [ZeRyX] but I didn't know that you weren't allowed to do that, and so I had to use the supporter tag to change my name because before that my name was ShiroChoin and I don't wanna explain how I got that name...)

I sort of broke the rules coming up with the name “Canadian Baka”. I had another account I made agile ago. While playing on the account, I was playing multiplayer when I saw someone with the username “American Baka”. I thought this was hilarious but didn’t have the money for a name change, so silly ol’ Me went ahead and made a new account (back when the system was slightly less strict) and made an account called “Canadian Baka”. Luckily I was excused for multi accounting so I’m not banned. Yay!

2008-2009 I played this other game, Combat Arms. I was a kid, came up with this dumb name six_killer18, then stuck with it for all other games and other online stuff.

Killer was a cool thing to put in names for some reason, I put it in because it was a shooting game. "six" came out of nowhere, the under dash serves as a space, 18 is there just cause.

Keeping the name because of sentimental value above everything until I finally decide to drop it down the line (probably not very soon)

My other username was k2_____ (censoring it since it's my real name lol.) Found a 3 letter word that looks good (ded) and stuck a part of my old username there (KK, which is k2 or 2 Ks).

In other games, if that username is taken I'll just add a Z in there, resulting on dedzKK. If that's taken, then its dedKu for me after that idiotic MC in Boku no Hero Academia.

There's a bot in Discord called KawaiiBot. She has a command called +ship @userhere @userthere. My previous name was Syxte but when I shipped by name with KawaiiBot the result was Kawaxte. Now I can joke around by putting -xte in every good word or name such as osuxte or animexte.
