That's not the only thing tho. Currently, Insane is very similar to Extra overall: they have pretty much similar rhythms used, only thing making Extra rating harder is spacing. They even have the same small CS. Imo maps of 2 different difficulty levels should have more things between em than this I tried to differentiate them more, maybe not enough idk. Changed CS of Insane and added Easy since then, so I hope the spread is better now
- while the maps mostly fine for me, I think you are using too many complex rhythms and patterns in easy difficulties. Due this the amount of objects is also pretty dense compared to the maps of same difficulty usually. That in itself is no problem imo tho, but it must be mapped taking this into consideration from the relevant skill-lvld player's perspection. Tho making the easiest difficulties little easier and less dense, it would make it easier to fix the last point I made about the Insane too. I think I fixed it for Easy, Normal and Hard diff
- while you had nice visual patternsat times too, there were decent amount unnecessary visual plunders. I'm not going to point em all out, I'm gonna give few examples for you to work on then I'm working on that for all diffs, currently finished the visuals of Easy, Normal and Hard

- the slider velocity is pretty high for normal difficulty, consider lowering
- 00:00:865 (1,2,3,1) - it ends up overlapping itself. You could change it so that the first slider and the sliderend of the second are stacked for example.
- 00:04:240 (2,3,1) - same here, but this time you could perhaps blanket 00:05:365 (1) - with 00:04:240 (2) -
- 00:05:365 (1,2,1) - you could triangle these
- 00:12:865 (1,2,3) - ^
- 00:14:365 (1,2,3) - ^ (don't break the square you have after this tho)
- 00:16:240 (2,1) - unnecessary overlap
- 00:16:615 (3,1) - also could blanket these
- basically since the object density isn't too high, it's possible to blanket/triangle/make symmetric or any other visual pattern out of almost everything
- try to reuse the exact same sliders when using similar slider shapes, and try to use em at similar sections of music, consistently. In same way, use spacing consistently, especially in lower difficulties.
- the chorus sections might have too much random rhythms and overall objects for the targeted lvls of players but don't rly quote me on that
- the things I said about visuals are relevant on other diffs too, even if I don't say em
I basically remade the entire map according to your recommendations on slider velocity, visuals, rhythm, sliders and everything. I believe the quality of the map is much better nowHard

- this diff feels more like low spaced insane than hard imo, you should use little less intense rhythmical choices I simplified some dense parts, but I still want this diff to be based on rhythm reading. The rhythm of the song is too interesting to be ignored for a Hard diff
- 00:27:115 (3,4,5,1) - you mapped these patterns mostly with some sliders in this diff, you could do the same for all of em Got changed anyway
Insane
- oh yeah same thing in Hard as in here. It would work better (and is usually mapped as such) with 1/2 sliders having 1/4 breaks between em. You have to change the spacing between them too to take that into consideration tho I'm not sure which part you're talking about
- I would make the last chorus little less spicy since this ain't the hardest diff here Simplified the most difficult patterns but kept it spicy enough to make it interesting. The difference with Extra is much bigger on this part now though
- if you change nothing else to differentiate Insane and Extra, atleast change the CS to little bigger here Yep did it

- add all advice I have said to here as well. Here I'm just gonna give you few places where you can map something more interesting to make this stand out as the top diff compared to the Insane
- 00:07:802 (4,5,6) - these patterns actually have 1/8 triple under the circles 4 and 5. You could map it with smth like short slider instead of circle on the 4, so it plays about the same but looks more interesting. Tried something with a kick slider but not sure of the result, will probably change it later if I've got a better idea

- 00:30:115 - ^-^
- 00:33:865 (1,2,3,1,2,3) - this was like, more intense in the Insane diff than here Intensified

- yeah this last chorus is like about the same intensity as in the Insane. Do changes to either there or here, preferably in Insane. I'm making this part more intense in the extra, gonna simplify it in Insane too later to mark the difference better

as for general tips for mapping:
you don't have to use grid snap (actually most people map without it for every diff) since it leads to distance snapping being buggy in most instances + looks aesthetically ugly 90% of the time
from just glancing over extra it seems like you use distance snap too frequently as well -- distance snap is usually only used in easy and normal diffs (sometimes hard but that depends on a lot of things); if you distance snap everything in an extra you get a lack of emphasis on a lot of notes which is apparent throughout the diff That's a big part of my remapping process yeah
- od 8 would be better here, having insane at od 7 and the extra is weird Done

00:38:740 - you're missing REALLY strong beats here by not mapping this lol, i'd recommend you relook through the map and add these beats as necessary Put it as a slider end. Sure this is a strong beat, but it's a base beat in the middle of a high-pitch melody, thus not so much audible and would feel weird to click it I think

The way Insane and extra are mapped right now most likely will not be ranked. The flow is very linear and Strong sounds and it lacks solid structure in general. Sorry if I'm too vague: This is only valid for the first 20 sec you've modded, the rest of the map really isn't, but you're right about this intro, I now see it got too many flawsI basically remapped this entire part of the Extra and Insane (from 00:12:865 (1) - to 00:21:865 (10) - ). To summarize I emphasize two kind of strong sounds (claps and drums) with hitsounds and with higher velocity sliders. The rest is mapped only by circles following the rythm of the instruments (not the voice) with patterns that I hope are consistent enough
- Try making the difference in spacing between strong and weak sounds more pronounced. This and SV is what makes the map feel more like it's connected to music. For example claps here 00:13:615 (4) - 00:15:115 (4) - 00:16:615 (4) etc are fairly strong in this part but your map doesn't reflect it at all having 00:16:615 (4,5) - spaced equaly. I suggest deciding on a set distance for each sound and sticking to it inside the same part of the song. For example each time there is a strong clap in music the spacing is 1.4x or smth like that. That's just one way to do it but it's easiest to describe. Fixed. I actually don't emphasize using much DS changes but rather SV for strong sounds though
- Try making flow less linear. For example when there are two similar sounds separated by another (e.g. synth-clap-synth) you can place 2nd of similar sounds in same place making the player to return where he was. I used this back and forth idea
- 00:19:052 (2) - there are no sound here btw, just noticed. Wasn't doing that kind of mod tbh I was actually mapping the voice here, but you're right that it might be better to stick only to the instrument to make the rythme clearer. Changed

- Try creating more structured shapes. Can't really teach you how. You've got to have sense for it. - I recommend sticking to "same sound - same objects" principle. For example these 00:20:552 (2,3,4) - sound very similar to 00:19:240 (3,4) - yet they are circles. Wild problem with blanket btw 00:19:240 (3). I based the remap of this part on that

The reason is that this is the only 1/3 stream in the entire song and it causes big readability issues in my opinion. I'm keeping it simple in the Insane for now, even if this means cheating a bit with the rythm.

- Finally to note, you increased notable the amount of rhythmically uncommon sliders especially in the harder diffs, like you have now mapped more of those sounds audible in the song. And thats okay. Remember tho to always check how they play, since having a lot of them can mush the map up playing wise if you don't keep them so that it's easy to read what slider is what kind and thus not confusing. Tho at the same time having more of them makes player more familiar with em ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Those uncommon sliders and uncommon rythms are part of the style I want to give to this map, so that's why I focused a lot on them. Concerning readability I try to be careful but I know I still need a lot of testplays and mod to tell me if there are readability issues somewhere. I'm unable to find them myself as I created the map and know the rythm by heart :p

There are some instances where this is alright to use (in my own opinion; such as what you did 00:06:490 (4,1) - here), but I don't know how I'm leaning towards this. You want to make this difficulty as easy and simplistic as can be, and I don't think stacks are all that great to use in a difficulty of this skill level, all in all. I changed the entire pattern to avoid this overlap

I'd use this rhythm instead. I mapped every loud *clap* sound with circles to emphasize them and the relative silence after it. Mapping them as sliders doesn't feel so right I think
- 00:24:865 (1,4,1,1,3) - I don't understand the 'claps' here when every other sound is pretty alike, the only other difference being the chord progression. Fixed
- 00:24:865 (1,2) - Rhythm here is pretty weird. For example, the transition here from 00:24:865 (1) - this note to the slider is uneasy since you're using different types of patterns for an equally as sound strong. More so; using this, you're missing out on quite a lot of beats that can be easily heard throughout 00:25:240 (2) - this slider. Maybe try using this rhythm instead? You're right about the long slider, I changed it. However, I don't like 1/2 repeat for an Easy, I did this instead (did it the three times it appeared)
- 00:27:115 (4) - This kind of ties in with the previous point; you're skipping over a lot of important sounds here (a good example of this would be the fact that the repeat doesn't land on any important sound; quite literally everything in this tiny section that should be mapped, even in the lowest tier of difficulty). Rythm here is 3/4 so I kind of cheat with the repeat as I don't know how to map this differently for an Easy

Hitsounds in this differ from Easy's too; some examples would be whistles 00:24:490 (3,4) - here. Yep, they were initialy pretty much the same but I changed a lot of things since then and it introduced a lot of hitsound mistakes I believe. I'll have a closer look laterPretty decent in theory, but I recommend you focus more on the playability aspect of the map, rather than aesthetics.
- 00:01:427 - I recommend you map this beat, seeing as how this is a 'Normal' and you can have more freedom over what to do in relation to an Easy (this would apply to wherever else it falls onward). I do map 1/2 beats, especially during Kiai sections, but I think I shouldn't abuse them, especially right off the start of the map in a relatively calm section
- 00:06:865 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - You could do something else here instead of normal notes. You want to have more density and overall technicality in a Normal than in an Easy; this part just kind of seems like an Easy + more aiming (you want to strive to not do that). I added 1/2 repeat sliders instead. I don't want to increase the click rate in this part though, as this is kind of the intro
- 00:12:865 (1) - Kind of ties in with the point above; you could definitely do something more interesting here, for example, you could map the way more prominent vocals and emphasise that with a slider (hold with the "talking to strangers online-"). (1) is a really loud BOOM sound, I want to map it with a circle for more emphasis. Plus the following (2) slider is held on the vcal "oooooon". I can't really follow the vocals as after (2) vocals are 10 consecutive 1/2 beats
- 00:12:865 (1,1,1,1) - Yeah, pretty poor rhythm choice in all of these, such as the way these are all set up; this could slide as an Easy with more spacing, which is really bad in a mapset. You're right, I used 1/2 repeats more consistently to map 1/2 beats

General
- surprising lack of long sliders, especially in the quiet sections where it needs them most. could be an style or artistic decision, but i dont know Doesn't feel necessary, especially since quiet section still have regular 1/1 beats which would be weird to map with 4 beats sliders
- avoid placing objects that barely touch (this is most prominent in hard diff) as it makes patterns look sloppy and unrefined, you should either overlap or space them apart
- i dont understand the SV changes in the intro of insane and extra.. it would make sense if you were mapping a sound effect but there's nothing going on here
(and even if you think there is, how come these timing points aren't consistent with the rest of the map?) I'm mapping the loud *clap* and *boom* with this. And this is the only part where they seem dominent related to the other intruments so that's why. I might very well be wrong about this though, feel free to suggest an alternative- I'd trim the end of the mp3 and fade out, right before the instruments kick in again, it's just weird to hear them after 2 seconds of silence when you already cleared the map Y'oure the second one to say that so I'll do it (not right now but a bit later). What do you mean by fade out ? the instruments after the end should not be audible ?
- like i said before, i feel a lot needs to be done in terms of object placement, objects like 01:01:996 (4,1) could be spaced much farther apart to avoid misreading idk about this, spacing is regular through the map and the distance seems right with slider velocity and 1/2 timing beat I'll keep that in mind though if someone else points that out
00:35:558 (2,3,4) - you could nc these to show the repetition in the vocals, and also make it different from the next combo of circles (if you're going to do this repeat for each diff) Interesting idea, I like the concept ad it fits the music. But I'm really not a fan of repeating NC aesthetically speaking. I'll keep that in mind, I might change my mind about it
01:12:308 (3) - idk what this is mapping to, or why it's not in any other difficultys, but i think you should map the kicks here (which is in 1/3 btw) Yeah it was a mess... Changed it

and too far from Hard diff, i would suggest you cut down on spacing (like at 01:00:496 (3,4) )and if necessary use 1/4 reverse sliders in place of triples I did replace a few triplets by repeat sliders in some parts that are less intense. I believe the Extra diff is a little bit underrated because I mainly focused on complex rythm and cursor movement instead of big spaced jumps. If I'm right the actual sifficulty gap between Insane and Extra is bigger than the star rating suggests. I hope I'm not wrong about this though

The issue is that this is the only part of the song like this, so really unexpected for players. So unless someone gives me the solution to make it readable for 4.5ish players I'll leave it as 1/4th stream

i dont know if its just me and possibly the other user that suggested this change, but i find the 'shawwn wasabii' at the end out of place and irritating. :/
