[resolved] Is there a reason as to why f5 is not under keybindings?

I was in #help and a user wanted to know if there was a way to change the f5 (which processes beatmaps/changes) keybinding because their f5 key is no longer on their laptop keyboard. Naturally, I told them to go to keybindings and they told me there was no f5 listing. Sure enough, f5 is not listed anywhere under keybindings. Is there a reason for this? I was actually going to feature request this but figure it'd be better to go ahead and verify that there's no specific reason for this.
Thanks in advance.

Any idea? Sorry for double post. I'm so damn curious.

I don't actually think there is a reason for it. I guess everyone is usually supposed to have an F5 key.

But it strikes me as odd.
Everyone is usually supposed to have plenty of other keys, but they still have the option to change them.

I can't say if there is any reason exactly, but I can speculate it could be because F5 is used as "refresh / reload" in basically every program that has a refresh option. So it maybe just never crossed anyones mind that someone would want to change it.

That makes sense.
I suppose that sucks for said person who can't get f5 to work. :<

I mean the user could always make a feature request for it. But since lots of users won't experience this problem it might now be the best.

You can use other programs to change keybinds though, which is the only option if the user doesn't want to change keyboards

Made a feature request because that's honestly silly.
Why should one have to use other programs to change it? You know?

Link to the feature request. This thread could be closed since some action is been taken towards getting this added. (your feature request) Unless you have any other questions about this matter?
