- So you've used vertically stacked notes in this diff quite a few times but I feel it doesn't quite work emphasis wise. When notes are stacked in CtB it requires no input from the player, hands off keyboard, go for a walk, make a cup of tea. It's essentialy zero epmhasis on the stacked note. However doing this does make for good emphasis on the notes after where you're making movement again so it certainly has it's use but you've used it a lot on quite loud and strong beats.
00:44:189 (1,2,3) - This is a good example of where I believe it both works and doesn't work. 00:44:892 (2) - is a strong sound and should really have some movement from the tail end of 00:44:189 (1) - Having it to the left so there's a direction change would fit nicely. However 00:45:360 (3) - being vertical I feel works really nicely. There's no strong beats here, just the vocals so it works well there and then helps to emphasise the movement to the start of the Kiai 00:46:064 (1) - - 00:15:595 (2,1) - Heavy lack of movement here! Considering adding a vertical slider at 00:15:360 - for the "okay" sound somewhat to the left of 00:14:189 (1) - and then unwinding 00:16:064 (1) - so the head is more to the right of the playfield.
- 00:20:517 (2) - This sound deserves some movement, try x:160
- 01:00:595 (2) - Some itense sounds here that aren't really emphasised too well with the vertical slider and small distance to 01:01:064 (1) - I'd suggest something like this. I've split 01:00:595 (2) - into two seperate notes to increase the distance between them due to the low SV. Then moved 01:01:064 (1) - across so it's equal spacing to and from 01:00:829 (3) - The idea is to emphasise all the notes here with direction changes and a bit above average spacing.
- 01:14:189 (1) - Feels odd with the lack of movement from the tail end of 01:13:251 (2) - Try having 01:14:189 (1) - at x:152 01:14:657 (2) - at x:352
and 01:15:126 (3) - x:152 - 01:19:345 (2) - I'd move this to x:376 and have it full horizontal going right
- 01:25:907 - You've skipped the sound here but mapped it earlier at 01:24:032 - I'd suggest to make 01:25:439 (1) - a fully horiztonal slider going left ending at 01:25:907 -
- 01:30:829 (2) - I'd move this either left or right of where it currently is. Either left for a direction change or off to the right to contrast with all the direction changes earlier on 01:29:189 (1) -
- 01:49:110 (3) - Okay? This almost works but it's stacked with the tail end of 01:48:173 (2) - so there's absolutely no movement for it. x:256 fits nicely but it will mean adjusting spacing on the notes following to make it fit however you'll probably want to consider the next point before you do anything.
- 01:53:564 (1) - This should really have equal emphasis as other notes such as 01:54:032 (2) - If you Ctrl+H 01:53:564 (1,2,3) - then this gets rid of vertical double whammy on both 01:53:564 (1,1) -
- 02:19:345 (2) - Here I'd do something similar to what I suggested at 01:00:595 (2) -
- 02:29:657 (2) - You know where this is going, needs some movement from 02:29:189 (1) -
- 02:34:814 (1) - Let's get some movement hyyyype! Try something like this I guess
- 02:49:814 (1) - Try this at x:136 for some movement
- 02:56:845 (3,1,2,1,2) - Ctrl+H this section to remove the stacks on 02:56:845 (3) - and 03:00:595 (3) -
- 00:22:860 (3) - Some more stacked notes here that seem out of place, try something like this
- 01:30:595 (2) - You could split this into two circles and slap a cheeky dash in here. 01:30:595 (2) - at x:416 and 01:30:829 (3) - at x:224
- 01:49:814 (1) - There's no movement to this when a dash would actually go very well. If you move 01:49:345 (3) - to about x:480 it gives you a lot of room to play about with 01:49:814 (1) - and make a dash here.
- 03:02:470 (2) - Try at x:464 for that movement hype.
- 00:53:095 (3) - Bit of an awkward flow stopper here as it's a very small distance from 00:52:157 (2) - Try adding some more distance here.
- 01:43:017 (2) - aaaaa no movement
- 01:46:767 (2) - aaaaa no movement
- 02:02:939 (1,2,3) - aaaaa no movement. Here I'd move this to x:456
- 02:38:564 (1) - This slider tail is pretty soft so it's not really a problem being vertical but I'd give it just a slight tilt to the right for aesthetic reasons or something like that.
- 02:49:814 (1) - aaaaa no movement
- 00:19:345 (4) - Like in the platter it's a bit awkward here with the low distance from 00:18:642 (3) - Try to increase it
- 01:07:392 (3) - Would probably tilt this a bit
- 01:45:595 (3,4) - Hmmm, don't think these work particularly well, probably best of as individual notes
- 02:31:532 (2,3,4) - I'd throw some inwards tilt onto these rather than pure vertical
- 00:04:579 (5) - More vertically! Try moving 00:04:579 (5) - to x:176 and 00:03:876 (4) - to x:88
- 00:07:860 (5) - Keeping up with my onslaught against these stacks, try moving this to x:104
- 00:20:517 (3) - I'd angle this like so for that movement(tm) without getting rid of the hypers.
- 00:32:704 (4) - x:40 for movement hype?
- 00:38:564 (1) - Quite a strong beat, certainly needs some movement
- 00:46:064 (1) - Distance from 00:45:360 (5) - feels too small, try having 00:46:064 (1) - start around x:40 and have it tilting off to the right
- 00:47:939 (1) - Add a teeny tiny bit of inward tilt to this?
- 00:54:501 (4,5) - This is a pretty tight dash, either reduce the distance between these two a bit or increase to make a hyper if you want
- 02:02:939 (1,2) - Try 02:02:939 (1) - at x:72 and 02:03:095 (2) - at x:88 to spice it up
- 02:34:345 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - Try rearranging this like so. It adds some movement from 02:33:876 (3) - and builds up to the dash to 02:34:814 (1) - nicely
- 02:58:954 (5) - Throw some movement in here!
