I was trying to think of a name for a DnD character, so I pulled out my phone which was glitchy as heck, and just swipped my finger over the keyboard for a solid minute hoping it would give me a fun name.
Storntonc is what the phone spat out, and I've been using it ever since

I am obsessed with NoGameNoLife. My name is referring to the ixseeds (the ranking of the 16 species in dishboard), obviously pointing out immanity which is #16 (at least in the beginning). Immanity can't use magic but Sora and Shiro proved that even the weakest can outsmart everyone and reach to the top if you're dedicated enough, EXCEEDing what anyone thought was possible. (I also used "exceed" instead of "ixseed" because it was mis-translated like that in the light novels lol, and because it sounds better).

"Smiley" has always been a part of my name. I don't really know the origin, but I have some iterations built from it. I wanted to become just Smiley in osu! community but apparently I can't claim the name from inactive user.

An old friend of mine used to always call me Jerome (even though it actually wasn't my name :) ).

Don't ask me where the 'TT' comes from... i think i just plopped it on the end cos it looked nice.

Young me (Give or take 5 years ago) thought it would be cool to name my username after my at the time favourite pairing.
Never let young you do things like these.
It haunts me to this very day, and i'd change it if I could but....
I mean, I'm still as lame as the name implies so I suppose... :'D

Often times my go-to username happens to be taken, and in the event it does, I start changing it up.

Came up with this while registering for MAL and it's essentially a slight reconfiguration of a FFVIII character, Edea.

My username doesn't really originate from somewhere, but it sounded cool. I used to use the name DivideByZero before, but when that username was alreaxy taken, I slightly changed it. Over the time I just got used to my current name and use it everywhere i register. :)

Well if i remember correctly it was from World of Warcraft, back in 2007? 2008? I was trying to have just Xero (Because I found it funny it sounded kinda like Zero , was young and stupid dont judge ok?) but it was taken. After a few minutes of figuring out clever names like Xeron, which again was taken, i stuck with Xeroll. And 17 is my "lucky number" so thats that. :)

I liked Dragons (i was 10), I thought X was a cool letter, and dr asgons breath fire and 611 used to be the fire emergency line, i think at least...

One day I had to come up with a new username for some random account thing I can't remember now. I thought about one time I tried a watermelon, and my old username was "RandomStuff". So, I just randomly came up with "TheRandomMelon", and I've stuck with that name for the past 2 years.

I used to be a Legend of Zelda fan. My favorite dungeons were the water dungeons, I loved the name 'Lake Lanayru'. When I was making my summoner name for LoL, I was thinking, what name should I pick? Then I used Lanayurian because Lanayruian sounded a bit weird to me.

Ninja came from my passion of Ninjas ( Yep , I like Ninja's stuff and Ninja's stories. )

And "ofchaos" came from a second passion : Sonic

Because of Shadow's power , Chaos Control. It's my dreamed power that's I would have ( but we know that's it's impossible. ;) )

But now , Chaos take the definition of real "Chaos" ( destruction , evil , etc. )

I had a creative friend who loved to write books and usually had to create names for the characters in her story. This one time she was discussing it with me and thought of "GalaxyStarburst"
Now, this was back in elementary.

When I found this game, I thought "Welp, I have to create an utterly new username" because the ones I've been using were pretty dry now.
Then, for some reason, that memory popped up and ever since then, I've been using this name for a lot of things. Presently, I am in high school and she's still been a dear friend of mine even if she's miles away now.

Mine came due to group of friends that first introduced me to Osu. I had played a final fantasy themed minecraft server and we all had characters from the franchise that we went by nickname of while on the server. Edgar_Figaro (From FFVI) was my character on that server. So since it was that group of people that initially introduced me I figured to make things simple to use the same alias. I guess I've just never had a reason to want to change it and it'd be weird to do so now.

dont know if any of you remember webkinz but 12 ago i was signing up on it. i wanted my name to be jet it was already taken so i added a t to jett same result. so i added a s for jetts taken still out of my frustration i click d and it worked and ive stuck with it for 12 years

Mine's based off of the Virtua Fighter series. Granted, I've only played Virtua Fighter 5, but I loved playing the game whenever I had the chance. I don't have it (nor our PS3) anymore, but I still have fond memories associated with it.

Used to play League of Legends (season 2/3 time period) and wanted to play with friends but they were all way lower ranked than me so the mmr was all over the place. Made a second account to play with them and actually have fun, one of them was a girl named Umbrella Table, told me to be Umbrella Chair. Wish we were still in touch :(

I had a friend called Sparxie on YouTube (He deleted his channel I think) and I had a channel called ExoPlays and I was thinking of our names combined and Sparxo came to mind and I just thought it was cool. Later I was signing up for osu! because Sparxie told me about it and I just used SparxoOSU as my username.

Hmm, I don't really remember, but I remember making this name up on some game from like 5 years ago... I was strangely fascinated with names starting wI th the letter X. Now I think of it as a mix of "Xeno-", which is a prefix for saying "Unknown", and "Equinox" for... I dunno, equality between things, idek. Kinda like UnknownHorizons or some name like that, but uhhh, figured that the name would be too long.

Just my guess xD

I plan to change my online alias to Xethrynn or something like that, maybe starting with youtube, but idk, it could change. :3
