Lets say you've written a BIG mod with or made a tournament with yet again, a lot of
it could be quite annoying to go into 'edit post' and then have to scroll through all those bb codes and blah blah blah and most of the time I make my boxes look like [box---]

That!

so, wouildn't it be EASIER if you could just press 'edit box' to make for and easier time!

I'm pretty sure this isn't a duplicate

Well, in this case I'd say even the [code] tags, [quote] tags or the [spoilerbox] tags need same treatment, right?
I personally have no problems tho (maybe 'cause I'm used to it already) so I'm not really hyped for such feature at all.

If ever, I'd rather have a live display of my edits somewhere so I can constatly check how my edits affect my post's formatting (but this is not related at all here)

yes [code] tags and [quote] would be good to have this feature also

WYSIWYG-editors are pretty meh imo. Just structure your BBCode so that it's easy to see where each box starts and ends.
This would also need quite an effort in programming if I'm not wrong as it would mean that you no longer use the standard BBCodes provided by the forumsoftware but create your own and making sure that it always rescales with resolutions, doesn't go out of bounds and all that kind of shit.
If you don't pack images into your boxes there's probably unimportant stuff in there anyway as important stuff should always be visible outside of boxes.

I put a lot of important stuff in boxes, and i'm talking when i'm making a tournament or something like that, it gets really messy and akward...

And I don't really wan't to be putting a lot of effort into programming just to make it simpler to use, also were talking HUNDREDS of people making tournaments and having the same struggle with editing boxes not just me.

The huge effort in programming is on peppy's side here. You're more or less asking him to code an alternative version to OpenOffice Write or something.
Handling the formatting is fairly easy if you ask me but then again people might not be as trained as a forumuser as I am.

thats what i'm doing. I wan't this feature to be added so it makes editing forums posts a lot easier! And even if your experienced this would be pretty nice... I think

Well.. I don't say this is a pointless feature but uh... it's personally not the big deal. I mean, new users will use them wrong for the most time. And experienced users won't because they structure them (basically what Endaris said). Yeah, generally I think this is something we should consider with the new forum design.

I don't see how new users would use them 'wrong' I mean, it's just a little edit button in a [box][box]...

but yea, even if it's not until the next forum design it would be a good feature to have, I just know personally that it would help me in a lot of ways
