Frostings, I feel like you are trying to make a flavor claim look more useful than it actually would turn out. By more useful I mean even tad useful, because it wouldn't give us anything at all. The only thing it'd achieve is: 1. We would know players' characters, which means we could try guessing their roles, which is complete opposite of useful for Town. 2. (You think) you will look good in players' eyes because you started something you believe was the way to go (you're miserably failing though). 3. We'd waste time by actually doing that.
Which means the only thing that's being achieved, no matter whether the claim goes through or not, is number 2, which means the only motivation you had behind that claim was your own self-interest. If I had to guess, you have a character that would be easily associated with Town in this game, so you'd gain something nonetheless even if we claimed and you'd manage to successfully convince people that flavor is important (when it's not).
From what I read on Undertale Wiki my character would fit both as Town and Mafia flavor-wise. I will not be bringing up this topic again and anyone who does so will look suspicious in my eyes.
