I just read over Lokamp's "Medley Series" post. A slight correction, but not quite.

The main reason why the Namco medley is called "Namcot medley" is because "Namcot" is referred as to "Namco mascots", which, according to the songs, are basically outlined there with the many 8-bit games. Again this is what I'm assuming, and I can't really explain it well, so I don't think I'm really THAT correct.

Mojipittan medley was also 8-star on the first DS. Might want to add that in too.

@ Zekira: Arcade experience is good, but it kind of disables certain "drumming tricks" that can only be done on button play. The most notable is drumroll abuse (although that might just be me), and certain long strings of notes.

Still, if we're going for effectiveness, I'm going to say owata is the best for that purpose. ;)

The Namcot bit was put in by me. I searched all over Google and found nothing of the sort- it was just a marketing brand for Namco to put games in Japanese stores.

Oodain shows its difficulty in Consoles because you need two fingers for each note, isn't it? It also happend to Happy! Helloween in Wii2. To get the highest score, you need a speed of 260 per finger to beat the big notes and a speed about 400 to finish the last 7 notes.

I've actually FC'd Hello! Halloween on Wii2 using the classic controller on Tatsujin without hitting the last 7 notes as big notes, you just need REALLY REALLY PRECISE timing.

But on Tatacon that would be so easy @_@

I think arusan can take my diff and do whatever he wants. All edit is allowed, even if replacing the mapper's name.

It is for save time to do another beatmap such as BRS, Gintama TH, or other songs.

Edit: I'd noticed that the kikyoku series except kikyouku are not Chai Found Music Workshop's performing, and kikyouku is a 765's collab song. The only composer of the series is Xunwei Zhan(Or Hsun Wei Chan, something like that), the father of the Chai Found Music Workshop.

2000 songs started out as wtfinsane, it should end that way too.

Ok, I disclaim OnaraSomething, since I've discovered NECOLOGY is even funnier to play and to map. I'm still on Shunyuu!

EDIT: on the Taiko blog post about Taiko 14's release, I've found an hidden message with the tricks used by Crystalsuicune. What does it means? I recognize only October in this...

I'll try and squeeze this project in once I can get access to an open source stem project of Tsubasa (Bagno's CMS).

...I am suddenly scared. Something like 48 hit fuusen followed by repeated dkdkdkd with some bits of kkkddddd, sudden slowdowns with sudden 240BPM afterwards, employing some really annoying combination of 4/4 3/4 7/4 5/4 with lolBPM, some wtfstreams and finally, 1/8 hording.

For all I know, that might just be a Taiko 14 wishlist. I still hope these make it to the third Wii game. :D

(If there even will be a 3rd. Oh well who knows.)

Seconded,especially when Fuun Shishi is a rather nice song IMO.
I'll remove it. I'll try to keep personal opinions out of Taiko Time from now on, sorry (but I really didn't like Fuun Shishi :p)

EDIT1: On the same article, about the new 2000, it's not exactly 'Medley 2000' The first letter is not the katakana letter メ, but the kanji letter 〆(shime)

@Lokamp: About the boss battles page, it's not a song series article, so there's no need for difficulty stars or detailed song information. Only info regarding the boss battle itself is needed (besides, the notes used in boss battle mode are different from the normal ones, so there's no such things as score routes and Master Notes) That will be covered elsewhere (which I'll figure out very shortly)

@aqua: errr some articles on Taiko Time are only accessible via browsing through the dates. I'm suggesting to put another page like a 'miscellaneous section' just for articles that can't be classified yet (e.g. Wii2 boss article)

Speaking of,

@Lokamp aqua: Arumi is NOT the hardest boss in Wii2. Unless of course JP players look at it otherwise, this is how I think the bosses should be arranged in terms of difficulty:

1.) Waruru
2.) Tungsten
3.) Arumi
Everything below this is pretty much easy for dedicated Taiko players
4.) Teruru
5.) Yttrium
6.) Geruma
7.) Tantalum
8.) Gallium
9.) Antimon
10.) Mekadon

This is IMO according to Super Spicy difficulty, and can probably apply to the lower diffs too...

To note, Waruru still seems much, much harder than the Youkai King of DS3 :/

At least, the news and lyrics articles are. Once all the information articles(song list, codes, song series) have been finished it should be much easier to find them on the homepage. I've labeled the posts so it'll be easier to find them by category later. The Wi2 boss article in particular, I wanted to link back to the Wii2 song list page, but it doesn't exist yet :P

And that bit about Arumi being the hardest? My mistake, don't blame Lokamp. I check and edit all articles before publishing them, and he checks mine. Fixed.

...but lepido mapped that with 'Mori' as the title at the end... so which one is it? D:

I can't read jap that has kanji, so probably double check this one?

Not as bad as Arumi, but greatly annoying.
What do you mean...? Waruru's attack is the WORST attack in every currently existing boss since it not only disrupts vision, it disrupts color as well! And the smoke lasts so long... what the hell...

1. Lepido mapped with Mori, but Lokamp out in Zakari. I ran the title through a kanji translator, and it was Zakari. I don't really know how to pronounce it though- it may be like Zeihen and Monuke Hen.
