- 00:13:655 - this is a super minor nitpick but have you considered making these claps a little quieter? maybe you could build up the volume of them, its just a little jarring when playing when you hear them for the first time, especially in the slow part, i think they'd hit harder if they werent the same volume as they're going to be later in the map
- 00:24:596 - i'm linking this via a part rather than by specific notes just so i can give my general thoughts on this segment, i understand what're you're going for by emphasizing the drums over the other instrumentation in this section, but it just feels so off and unsatisfying playing because of the rhythm you chose, specifically in 00:24:596 (1,2,3,4,5,6) , 00:30:244 (1,2,3,4,5,6) , 00:31:655 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) and 00:34:479 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7). I think the emphasis you're going for it a good idea, it just could be executed better, i'll go through each point now with examples of how you could potentially change them to fit the music better + be more interesting as well
i like all of these patterns design wise to clarify, its literally just the rhythm, and i trust that you'll make pretty patterns with any rhythm so it shouldn't be too big of a pain to tweak this section
as an example of patterns that in my opinion really accomplish what i think you're going for, 00:26:008 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - is really good for keeping the easier balance that you told me you were going for in this section quite a while ago (QUITE A FEW MONTHS AGO SO WHO KNOWS IF THATS THE SAME NOW LOL), even though i personally think that both the doubles sound in each of these patterns should be clickable, this is a good balance between our two perspectives on this rhythm i M MO OO O O
after deleting all the notes, i've found that the background drum you're trying to emphasize is literally just a 1/1 drum throughout the entire section, so as long as you have notes on the white tick that are clickable, you can put in all the doubles and EMPHASIS ON THis fukn synth that the map really needs
i also noted that you were trying to make all the red ticks clickable so i kept that alive through my rhythm suggestions as well as that perspective makes sense to me
ok now for the actual points - 00:24:596 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - ok before anything here's the rhythm i would suggest
now now i dont want it to come off as TOO COMPlex to start the section, especially because you said you're going for the FEEL of it being an "easier" part, but i think its a very good middle ground to have the first combo have this rhythm, and then keep the second combo {00:26:008 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9)} in this case the same, which gives a good variety while playing so the section doesn't get stale, while also not being undermapped, which is honestly what i think the rhythm is as a whole in this chunk of the map which is why IM TYPING ABOUT it now ok - 00:27:420 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - you might be wondering did i forget this one haha no of course not ive spent a lot of time WRITING THIS SO FAR TB H but i think maybe personally if you wanted to mix it up and leave this one in, since the synth sound is really not as strong hear it would be ok in my book, just make sure it stays consistent and doesn't feel out of place after changing the other rhythms

U BrOKE ur rule and had a clap hit be not clickable.... {referring to 00:30:596 (3)} i know that might seem a little dense on kicks but you really do a basic rhythm in the next combo and this one starts with a hold slider so i think it is G to make it this level of complexity - 00:33:067 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - same as the point for: 00:24:596 (1,2,3,4,5,6) (aka this rhythm, same reasoning as there applies to here as well)
- 00:35:538 (7) - could you make this two kicks? the transition into the next section {00:35:891 (1,2,3,1,2,3) etc} would be a lot cleaner and feel a lot cooler if 00:35:714 - was actually clickable, i tried it and it feels sooooo much better, i think this would be SUper tight so if you think it makes the rhythm before it feel a little empty which i could see the perspective behind {referring to this 00:34:479 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -} you may want to change it, if you're happy with it how it is after you make it two kicks then its G imo but others may not agree so SUBJE c TIV E
either way pls two kicks its so much better..
ayyy we made it through the rhythm part of that section!! - 00:24:596 - ok so i get what you're going for with the hitsoundind buildup by leaving out a lot of the whistles in this section but it sounds less like a buildup and more like you just forgot to hitsound half of it so here are the timestamps of missing whistles: you could make the new additions quieter maybe if you still wanted the emphasis on the last note of each segment? just a thought:
00:24:949 - 00:26:361 - 00:27:773 - 00:29:185 - 00:30:596 - 00:32:008 - 00:33:420 - 00:34:832 - - 00:33:949 (5,1) - small note, please make sure these don't touch when you rework the pattern, im sure they wont it just looks a little sloppy
- 00:45:773 (1,1) - dont IGNORE the whistles during these, you can put them in still ;; it sounds really weird without them
- 00:52:832 - doesn't matter at all but u couuuuuld silence this because its not like its landing on something vital it goes right into a break : )
- 01:24:244 (1,2) - idk if the intention was to blanket this but its definitely not LOL just a nitpick, if you want the blanket move it down a lil
- 01:38:008 (1,2,3) - this 3 does NOT exist, and if i'm somehow hearing things and it does, its so miniscule that there is no excuse to not make 01:38:361, the much stronger beat clickable, this whole rhythm is kind of eh so i guess i'll make a section about that
- 01:38:008 (1,2,3,4,5) - first: suggested rhythm before reasoning
make sure you listen to this without the current hitsounds because when i originally listened to it without removing the hitsounds i was like WH LOL anyways, i think this follow the song much closer than what you currently have
you may argue that this is a lot more dense, and i can definitely agree with that! however, the map itself does not dictate how dense it will be just by concept alone, the MUSIC is saying that it should be dense and i think most people's interpretation of this song is also that way
however, if you wanted to make it LESS dense than that pattern, you could strip it back to this:which i think is actually a pretty good option as well, i like both of these patterns and they both offer a different feeling to this section, perhaps you could use the simpler one for these first two {01:38:008 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - this part} and the more complex one for {01:40:832 (1,2,3,4,5)} the next note will cover the last pattern of the section
anyways, there are multiple solutions to the issues in this section, and i actually personally think that the second solution is the better one, but choose for yourself which one you like more and what makes sense to you in your interpretation of the map, as the second solution takes emphasis off the drums for these 4 bars and that might not be something you WANT TO DO so you get the picture - 01:42:244 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - no matter which solution u pick, MAKE SURE THAT 01:42:067 and 01:42:155 IS CLICKABLE, this is the rhythm i would suggest for this segment, which keeps the idea of the original rhythm but follows CLOSER and is more suited imo
- 01:54:596 (3,4,5,6,1) - if u move this up a little you can make a line with 01:54:155 (6,1,2) - and it also wont do the ugly barely touch with 01:54:420 (2) -

not as many rhythm issues with the kiai, i liked your interpretation except for the spots that im about to mention - 04:09:067 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this is the highest point of emphasis in the music, and its the easiest rhythm to play in the whole kiai with tons of stuff that SHOULD be clickable just not being clickable..
i suggest this rhythm, because it follows the music in both its rhythm and its INTENSITY, this kiai NEEDS the intensity that the rlc one has, and you dont just get it from spacing, you get it from rhythm and emphasizing the right segments of the music, aka this PEAK of the chorus - 04:15:773 (7) - two kicks, to remain consistent with 04:04:479 (7,8), also just because its a better rhythm with better emphasis
- 04:18:596 (1) - i personally think this would be better as two kicks for better emphasis for the sound, heres an example of how you could fit it into your current pattern with the parallels (make sure they're parallel with the other ones i did this in 2 seconds so they may not be in this screenshot
- 04:20:361 (1,1,1) - i see what you're going for, maybe this is just personal gripe but its so anticlimatic, you could do something with kicks, you could make it more streams, anything but this weird 1/8 repeat thingy seems like it would be a better alternative, i understand the kiai drops here but that doesn't mean this has to be easy, you could make it kick sliders in like a cool build up pattern maybe? im sure you could come up with something that doesnt just kill all the momentum you will have built so far with your FIXED RHYTHMs
i hear the 1/8 tho so i guess if you want to keep them then maybe space them further so one of your highest moments of intensity isn't so dull.. - 04:23:891 (5,6,7) - wheres the rhythm from before with the good emphasis you were using
this is MUCH better for emphasizing the song, i don't want to keep repeating myself so hopefully the points i've used until now are enough to convince you - 04:24:861 - circle stacked on 04:24:949 (2) - like you have all the other times?

just fits the synth you've been mapping to, as well as letting you CLEANLY transition to the somewhat abrupt and hard to read 1/2 spacing to the drums you hav now - 04:33:067 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - you suddenly start using really inconsistent rhythms in the second half of the kiai : ( the first part was pretty good rhythm wise aside from a few but its kind of falling apart now, here's a fix its a rhythm from before so its consistent and fits the music
- 04:34:479 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - same reasoning as above, different rhythm tho
- 04:36:155 - add circle on top of 04:36:243 (2) -
- 04:37:302 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) -
starting right off with the rhythm this time, this is a mix of the rhythm i suggested before (this being another peak of intensity before the songs last peak in literally next mesaure), but a little different with the two circles added at the end, this is to make it better lead into the next segment - 04:38:714 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3) - can you space this more? like the pattern is cute and all but god damn the lack of emphasis compared to the rest of the map is like zz, even like 0.2x more would help it imo
- 04:40:126 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - like this is a fukin explosion compared to that, this isnt a gradual build unless you buff 04:38:714 (1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3,1,2,3)
- 04:41:538 (1,1,1,1,1,1) - dont forget the whistle hitsounds during this, i think it'd sound much better with them included
- 04:46:832 (2) - there are two clicks in this pattern, you can HEAR IT in the music, its clearly different than all the other ones, so please make it two kicks, there's no reason for it not to be and it'll make this segment 10x cooler
- 04:52:479 (2) - same as the other one
- i would argue that the circle patterns in this section really lacks intensity, but i think that was the point of this segment as a whole, which i really dont agree with because even though its not technical rhythm wise, this is still a massively intense part in the music and its reduced to "woooOOOWWoOWO guess the slider velocity i sure am WACKy" throughout this whole part {referring to 04:49:655 (3,4) to 04:49:655 (3,4) - }
however, the part itself is fine, you don't really HAVE to change anything in it, i just personally dislike it because i dont think it evokes any feeling whatsoever with the lack of flow between the sliders and slider shapes + flow that are not at all indicative of the slider velocity changes
if you want my input on how to make this better we can irc it because goddamn this mod is long but if you want to keep it the same thats a ok - the end is nice how you go back 2 what you did at the start btw
OK that was probably the longest mod i've ever written
i don't hate this map and we're tomadachis i just want to help turn it from an ok map to a great map because goddamn is that rLC PART GREAT ALREADy
please try all the rhythms before declining, please ACCEPT ALL THE RHYTHMS if you accept nothing else because thats truly the most important part, this stuff IS NOT subjective and i have literally no clue how these issues were just completely ignored
