Oh my goodness HEKc you want MY opinion on your map?!/1?!/1! c; Availability: heck sorry no ;c
Request through any means you want, I don't really care where you request.
If I need mods as well I may ask for M4M, but this doesn't at all affect me giving you a mod. You can feel free to brush it off if you have no time, that's understandable c;
If you catch me in game, I can testplay and IRC if you would prefer that instead.
If it's any other sort of help you want with like patterning or whatever (general mapping stuff), I can try my best c;
Hitsound Requests
Sure, I find hitsounding sort of therapeutic, and I like that c; send me the song and if i like it, I can probably finish hitsounding it within an hour or two. I CAN KEYSOUND. If you want me to keysound your difficulty, let me know and if possible, provide me with a single sample that you think would fit well with your map. It's okay if you don't, I have plenty of hitsounds but it would make things easier.
GD Requests
You want me to make you a GD? c; Availability: aaa frick sry ;c
Request through any means you want, I don't really care where you request.
Send me your map and tell me which diff you want me to GD for.
Note that I prefer Easy / Extra difficulties, I'm not exactly the best at Normal - Insane but if you're willing to bear with me through a (still) learning phase of those difficulties, then let me know c; (I say this here because I don't want to hinder the process of ranking your set.)
I don't map slowly anymore (yay!); However, that doesn't mean I can just fly through every map in an hour like others may be able to. If there is a deadline, let me know. If I like the song enough to agree GDing in the first place, likelihood is that I already have ideas for it and would be able to finish it within a week or so.
Collab Requests
You think we should collab?!!?!?1/1/1/11111/ <!-- s:o --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/57.gif" alt=":o" title="Surprised" /><!-- s:o --> Availability: no fren sry i camt ;c
Request through any means you want, I don't really care where you request.
I think collabs are pretty fun! So long as everyone involved is equally enthused about the map (for the sake of it being maintained through a modding phase), I'm willing so long as I like the song.
As I stated in the GD requests, my mapping efficiency and speed is completely dependent on how much I like and can think of ideas for a song. Liking the song and being able to map it go hand-in-hand for me, sorry if I decline your request... It's probably because the song doesn't inspire the mapper in me (again I apologize ;c).
Map Tributes These tributes are dedicated to people who have unarguably made a massive impact on the mapping scene as it has changed throughout the years. These are created solely out of appreciation and respect for the mapper, and are intended to emulate, as best as I can offer, their style. Those listed here are not the only ones who have made a massive impact on the mapping scene, only those whose style I felt (as a mapper) adequate enough to emulate with acceptable fidelity to their progenitor. There are many more great influences in this community which I feel inadequate of paying proper respect to in this way, and will refrain from tarnishing their legacy with an underdeveloped product until I feel prepared.
fanzhen0019 My Tribute: Sota Fujimori - DANCE ALL NIGHT The first map that made me want to become a mapper was fanzhen's map for Expander's (A.K.A. Sota Fujimori) Move That Body. fanzhen's maps are timeless subjects which live on the boundary between respecting old maps and their simplistic beauty of flow design and rhythm choice as well as embracing a newer generation of visuals. fanzhen's Move That Body map serves as an excellent example that technically challenging can still be accessible, readable, and simple. No other mapper better embodies with their maps the theory of close visuals that provide the most immediate context being the easiest to see in real time. The intent of my tribute was to emulate something similar to fanzhen's map for U1 overground - Dopamine, which features spontaneous flow requiring full attention to every beat as well as close readable aesthetics. Thank you fanzhen for inspiring me to become a mapper, I am most certainly not the only one you've inspired.
-kevincela- My Tribute: cYsmix - Eden kevincela's maps are paradigms of diversity, raw mapping experience, and above all else cleanliness. Through the developing mapping meta, kevincela's maps have expressed incredible aesthetics through meticulously neat usage of space. At the same time, his pattern choice is consistent in design and highlights through the flow so intensely what the music brings to the table. The intent of my tribute was to emulate the cleanliness and attention to how subtle changes in flow impact how the music is perceived, much of what is expressed in kevincela's map for onoken - Viden. Thank you kevincela, your habitual cleanliness in mapping has taught me how to subdue my OCD (it's not that bad c;).
