Increasing Stream Speed?

I have been practicing for around 5 months, trying to increase my stream speed. I have learned how to stream consistently, but not more quickly.
I am currently at 160 bpm, 170 on my best day... most players I ask say that is the basic stream speed for someone who has never streamed before, which worries me.

I use these maps to practice:
https://osu.ppy.sh/b/137126
https://osu.ppy.sh/b/149551
https://osu.ppy.sh/b/660853
I usually arch my fingers while streaming. I have tried flat, and it's a bit clunky, but if that would help with speed, tell me and

So, the question is:
Are these maps good for stream practice, or did I just waste a TON of time?
Do you know any finger position that would increase it? (More arch, less arch, flat, ect.)
Do you recommend changing bpm's constantly, or slowly moving up in bpm at a constant rate?

Thank you guys so much for all the help! :D

"Hey I want to learn how to stream 200 bpm!"

Do I jump straight into Ascension to Heaven? NO
You start by learning how singletap at the BPM FIRST
then you learn how to quickly burst at that speed SECOND
then you learn how to stream at that speed

Also if you really want to learn how to stream, Play with OD no lower than 10.

Edit: You really dont have to stream anyway you won't see a real stream untill Extra difficulty, just learn how to burst.

Funny thing because I can stream higher BPM than I can single tap.

OT: You waster a lot of time. You need to play stream maps that require actual aim since they are way more straining. But first learn how to burst.

Ehm no. I'm a fully alternating player and I'm able to deathstream 220bpm. Singletapping is just a playstyle.

The best way to learn how to stream 200bpm is to start at where you feel comfortable ( in this example 160), and work your way up from there.

if you want to increase streaming speed alone, any stream practice map works
but that doesn't help you in actual streaming situations though because not much aim element is involved

If your stamina has gone up, you've gained something.

Any map with different types of streams (that require some form of aim) in are good for stream practise.

Everyone has different hands, you need to experiment to find your ideal hand position.

Reddit... explains everything... don't even bother to check this bullshit, you will only get cancer from going there ^^
GTFO with this shit, we don't need reddit kids here.

Best way is to play more stream maps, play more and more.

pretty sure we had few arguments in this section of the forum about how those streaming maps doesn't help on streaming beyond increasing streaming stamina and speed so that guide is actually pretty subpar
Note: Streaming DOES NOT ONLY INVOLVE TAPPING STAMINA AND SPEED

What else would it involve? Aim? imo a good way of getting better with stream aim is to play stream maps with hidden.

Play with HD.
Play HD people, it gives you stamina, aim and even speed! Believe me, I'm pro 4k pp farmer player.
HD helps.
Whatever. To increase speed you need to play more.

adding weight is just helpful, but it's worth nothing if you don't move your muscles while using it
if you'll eventually stop training them they will gradually get back to the form they were before you started to work them.
