Hi everyone!

After using the custom search, I didn't find any results pertaining to what I am requesting. If by any chance this has been requested, then I am truly sorry for wasting everyone's time.

But anyways, my idea is very simple. There should be some way to set a skin you want to use during gameplay, and a skin you want to use for editing.
This saves the hassle of changing skins every single time you want to edit something. Especially since a lot of mappers don't use the same skin for mapping and editing. And since a lot of people use skins that don't show the combo numbers (myself included).

Anyways, thanks for listening to my idea. Sorry if it sounds stupid. :o

There is an option to use the default osu!skin for editing.
Aside from that you should also uncheck the option "Ignore beatmap skin". If it's your own map you can just dump your own "mapping"-skin into the set and voilà, you will always have the skin you want your edit your map with.

You actually bring up a very good point. Although I hate using the default skin, and having to add the skin to the beatmap would be even more of a hassle assuming you don't actually want to use it in the final mapset. So you would have to keep removing it and putting it back in every time you need to update it.
