The jump near the end seems a little excessive in terms of the distance, other than that I found it really fun.

00:00:593 (1,2,3,4,1) - I think this could use some movement somehow. For example (1,2) plays one piano chord and (3,4) plays another so maybe you can move 3 and 4 to x:413 y:255 so it follows the piano better

00:11:047 (3) - This pointing up would be better imo for this quiet part.

00:15:273 (1,2,1,1) - Small suggestion but I think these would be better if they weren't all stacked in the same spot to follow the piano like in the first part. Maybe moving 00:15:273 (1,2) - to x:415 y:207 and 00:16:939 (1,1) - to x:302 y:250 and those notes stacked would be nice

00:20:439 (1) - It would be cool if you did a nice spinner volume effect by adding some volume timing points to the part at 00:21:939 - to match that audio chopping effect it gives. If you need help with that you can pm me I'll explain it better

00:23:064 (1) - Somehow I feel if these were two notes with a jump instead it would be fun to play

00:23:814 (2,1) - So I think this could be a small problem because (1) it has pretty similar spacing to the other notes except the other notes are 1/2 and this is 1/1 so it could be misread. More importantly 00:24:001 - 00:24:376 - if you listen to how the piano plays it holds this piano note so I think what you can do instead here is make this a 1/1 slider so I suggest this pattern. Here I deleted 00:23:814 (2) - and made 00:23:439 (1) - a 1/2 reverse slider then added a 1/1 slider at 00:24:001 - so it plays better to the music. Highly suggest this btw

00:24:939 - 00:25:689 - I see what you're mapping to ofc though these sounds could also be mapped I feel. Otherwise I think mapping it like you did at 00:27:001 (7,1) - is better because it still follows the piano better

00:34:689 (2) - Stack over 00:33:751 (1) - It's better

00:36:189 (3) - Moving this down plays better coming from (2) like this. Then after maybe stack 00:36:751 (4) - over the slider end of (3) or you can have it behind the slider still that works

00:40:314 (2) - I think this would be cool too if it was at x:362 y:347 its a nice jump from the slider and to the next slider adds emphasis

00:40:689 (4) - Might wanna NC this but also would suggest that instead of a 1/4 slider this were two 1/4 notes.

00:40:876 (3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - Also if I can suggest doing a bit of a shapely stream. Here's a small suggestion screenshot (I rotated 00:40:501 (3) - slightly as well)

00:41:439 - Here I think the BPM will change again cuz its sounds a bit slower compared to the music. Might wanna ask pishifat to help you with the timing

00:55:501 (2,3,4) - It'd probably make a better tapping rhythm if instead you did this rhythm. That way you can start the jumps on the white tick at 00:56:439 -

00:59:439 (1) - Also would be nice if you stacked this over 00:59:063 (2) - like you did at 00:34:876 (3,1) - something like this maybe

01:03:189 (3,4) - This would be better as two 1/2 sliders or first a 1/2 slider and two notes. Like 01:02:439 (1) - This ones good as a 1/1 slider cuz it follows the vocals but 01:03:189 (3) ignores 01:02:626 - the guitar here this way.

01:04:314 (2) - ctrl+g would be cool

01:11:439 - 01:14:064 - This feels pretty quiet as 1/1. I think sticking to 1/2 rhythm is better here since the guitar is the only thing playing and is playing in 1/2.

01:17:251 - This is fine the way you have it too but if you want you can also add a jump here as well.

01:17:439 (1,2) - For this one I feel (1) would be better as a 1/1 slider to follow the vocals and a note at 01:18:001 - kinda like how you did it at 01:20:439 (1,2,3) - . Maybe do something like this (messy example lol)

01:21:189 (3,4) - Small suggestion but I think if this was a 1/2 slider it'd be nicer to play. Not a big deal though.

01:29:064 (4) - Similarly if this was two notes instead it would also be funner to play like a jump

01:40:689 (1,2,3,4) - This is nice but maybe it can be spaced out a bit more.

01:41:439 - The jumps in the section are fun but I think they build up way too fast lol

01:43:501 (1,2) - I think instead of leaving that empty pause in between these you can make them 1/2 sliders which play the same as single tapping 1/1 but feel less empty because the slider end fills the space in between. Same for 01:55:501 (1,2) - and 01:58:501 (1,2) -

01:53:064 - 01:53:251 - Should really consider some notes here to follow the rhythm of the drums

02:02:439 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Here normally because of how intesnse the drums are this is where I would kind of expect the bigger jumps and stuff to happen.

02:26:251 - Consider a note here. Feels pretty empty. Otherwise you should stack 02:26:439 (1) - over 02:26:064 (6) - so it plays better as a pause.

02:39:189 (3) - Change to a 1/2 slider and a note so it plays nicer and better emphasizes the music

02:39:751 (4,1) - here she does like a triple sound too so if you change the above you can do something like this

03:19:501 (1,2) - Same suggestion as 01:43:501 (1,2) - Change these to 1/2 sliders so it can better follow the music and same for 03:31:501 (1,2) -

03:47:439 - This is nice but so that it's not so repetitive you can stack them in pairs of 4 so like 03:50:439 (1,1,1,1) - move these then also move 03:53:439 (1,1,1,1) - these etc.

04:02:064 (5) - Remove the repeat and instead add a note at 04:02:439 - would better emphasize that white tick

04:18:751 (1,2,3) - The jump on these could be a bit bigger imo

05:03:169 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,1) - LOL and again the jump intensity just super spikes like this. No need for these to be so huge tbh

05:47:606 (2) - I think this would be better if it was more rotated like this


I think the jumps in the kiais spike the star rating a lot tbh. I'd suggest nerfing them for the most part since they don't fit with the overall difficulty of the map. Also might wanna look for someone to doublecheck the timing. And hitsound this maaaaan :x

  3. 00:46:650 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - This slider looks shaky. Might be just me. You could remake it using a slider.
  4. 00:54:923 (1,3) - Overlaps don't look good here, unless if I recognize them as a style.
  5. 01:03:912 (1) - CTRL+G kinda flows better IMO. Take this with a grain of salt.
  6. 01:56:224 (1,2,3) - This can throw a lot of players off. I'd suggest just moving 01:56:412 (2) - to 256|96 so it's not as confusing.

first of all, overall this is pretty well done and fun to play, the only things that really bother me are that some of the jumps feel really overspaced and a bit of overmap. therefore i'll be making one section for spacing stuff that annoys me, one for overmap and one for other stuff.

Spacing

  1. 01:29:412 - 01:35:412 - the spacing increase in this section feels too much, especially since the spacing then is much lower in the musically more intense part right after
  2. 01:35:412 - 03:11:414 - same for this section
  3. 03:18:914 (1,2,3) - 03:21:914 (1,2,3) - 03:30:914 (5,6,7) - 03:32:976 (1,2,3) - these all feel overspaced, they aren't really any particularly emphasized pattern in the music (that would be 03:38:414 - 03:41:414 - in this section IMO where you use a lot lower spacing) and aren't consistent with each other - 03:32:976 (1,2,3) - is on a different part in the pattern to all the others
  4. 04:07:631 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5) - here you have a sudden drop in spacing despite the music keeping up the intensity
  5. 04:32:397 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - i would keep this stream spacing at least the same as the previous stream or use a higher spacing since the music gets more intense here
  6. 05:03:149 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - this is over twice the spacing of the next most spaced jump section, really? it's not even a particularily intense part that needs to be emphasized, and just removing this combo reduces the star rating of the map by 0.3

Overmap

  1. 00:40:952 (7,8,9,10,11) - i don't hear anything for a stream to be mapped to here, only the triple before
  2. 00:43:837 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - i don't hear anything for a stream to be mapped to here

  3. 01:21:912 (1,1,3) - this overlap looks really messy, consider overlapping these fully or moving them apart
  4. 01:23:787 (2) - move this to overlap the start with 01:23:037 (3) - or so that it stacks in the same direction as 01:22:474 (1,3) -
  5. 03:30:914 (5) - think you forgot an NC here

while yes i know this is supposed to be an extra with pp jumps and all that but consider toning down 05:02:399 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - a bit or at least make the first two triangles smaller.. no actually consider toning them all down a bit... i was able to do the first 2 choruses just fine but this one i feel like i would've failed already if not for hp6... it could probably just be me but it felt rather forced

well as for the map as a whole there's nothing i can point out anyway w

00:33:173 (3,4,1,2) – There's a lot of things I want to talk about here:
  1. 00:33:173 (3,1) – This overlerp doesn't look great and imo presents a design issue with the map. Additionally, (1)'s curvature doesn't match (3)'s curvature, which again doesn't make it look great. There's also an overlap on 00:32:798 (2,1) – which doesn't look great.
  2. 00:33:735 (1,2) – This stack is a bit annoying imo because the slider hides it too much to the point where it's not visible (especially on Hidden).
  3. This one is a lot more subjective, but I feel strongly about it. Observe that the previous combos starting at 00:29:798 (2,3,4,5,6,1,2,1,2,1,2,3,4) - had mostly counterclockwise flow. In the same way you use spacing to emphasize the note at 00:33:735 (1) - , you should also consider directional changes you could add to emphasize certain notes.

The problem with this is that there is not much room to work with, so the suggestion at 00:29:048 (6,1) – about increasing the distance could help to give this pattern more room.

00:47:423 (1) – I'm actually okay with this long pause, but I can see some people being upset that the note at 00:47:798 – isn't mapped. 00:50:423 (1,2,3,4) – I have a neat design suggestion, but it's a little complicated. I'd like to be able to talk to you and share screens over skype or discord or any video software of the sort, so talk to me when you have time.

However, you've got a lot of structural elements that aren't that flexible, so I can't exactly see an easy way to make this work. Pay attention to this while testing and see if you can find something that might work.

01:02:412 (1) – Consider your distance with what you've been doing. 01:00:912 (3,4) – is small, (4,5) is large, (4,6) is small, so to go with the pattern (6,1) should be large, which also helps to emphasize the downbeat here, so consider increasing the spacing into (1).

01:05:037 (6,1) – This flow and spacing is a little extreme, creating an overall unpleasant transition between patterns. Really consider chaning/adjusting one or both of these to set up a more natural flow here.

01:09:162 (3,1) – This overlap does not look good. I'm guessing there wasn't much thought about this overlap, but you should avoid random overlaps like this by just nudging it over a little
01:10:287 (3,5) – Same thing

04:26:022 (1,2,1) – This is a good example of where structure can help you out. Move 04:26:772 (1) – to 122, 202. This makes these three highlighted notes equidistant, which generally has a better design, and the 04:26:209 (2,1) – is parallel with the (3) slider

04:27:897 (3) – This note is super strong! Try adding a jump into this and similar like 04:28:459 (2) - , and maybe these should be the start of the NC's, though I don't really care about NC's.

04:39:334 (1,2) – Consider stacking these or make them very close to go with how calm the music is.

Okay, so I talked a fair amount of design improvements, some rhythm suggestions, a little about smoother transitions/flows, and a slight bit about emphasizing certain notes with more appropriate DS. I'd like to get more subjective and talk about your pacing. I know you understand it pretty well. You made the strong kiai sections strong with big spacing at 03:17:414 (1) - , and you made the calm sections really slow with slow SV's and small pacing, and there are times where I feel the difficulty/intensity of the map is just right compared to the intensity of the song. However, there are quite a few places I feel aren't paced well. Consider 03:38:414 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - . This is the climax of the kiai section, and it has a strong emotional feeling in the music. However, when you compare it to patterns like 03:20:226 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) – the pattern during the climax doesn't feel very strong at all. This makes this section not as fun as it could be. Pacing is pretty challenging because it requires you to compare every note of the song and every beat in your map with every other note and every other beat, but I do think you should consider what parts should be strong and exactly how strong they should be a bit more. The more experience you get, the easier it will be. If you have any specific instance you want to get my opinion on, I'd be happy to talk to you about it, but I'll let you come to me instead of pointing more out.

Anyway, great song, I'm glad you mapped it. There were some pretty cool flows that I thought were on point, but overall the map feels like it has a lot more potential, so try getting more mods before asking for BN's. Best of luck!

Note 80 bpm = 160 bpm ( such that if a 160 bpm song is mapped to only the white tick , it should be 80 bpm and vice versa ). <off point stuff idk and according to the ranking criteria (under timing ) : ''Uninherited timing sections cannot be used to manipulate slider speeds. These can be very unexpected for the player while also disrupting the main menu pulse and slightly changing the overall timing of the map. '' so its currently unrankable. (try playing the song from the start and listening to the pulse in the main menu and you would hear the difference. tldr : theres probably something wrong with your offsets and do not use multiple timing points.


There is also some overmapping such as 00:43:837 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - , there isnt a beat on the blue ticks (3) (5) (7)


A small but huge mistake that is affecting it from being rankable

and note if your going to copy from a map's offsets and other timing points , copy it from a ranked map.

Okay, so I talked a fair amount of design improvements, some rhythm suggestions, a little about smoother transitions/flows, and a slight bit about emphasizing certain notes with more appropriate DS. I'd like to get more subjective and talk about your pacing. I know you understand it pretty well. You made the strong kiai sections strong with big spacing at 03:17:414 (1) - , and you made the calm sections really slow with slow SV's and small pacing, and there are times where I feel the difficulty/intensity of the map is just right compared to the intensity of the song. However, there are quite a few places I feel aren't paced well. Consider 03:38:414 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - . This is the climax of the kiai section, and it has a strong emotional feeling in the music. However, when you compare it to patterns like 03:20:226 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) – the pattern during the climax doesn't feel very strong at all. This makes this section not as fun as it could be. Pacing is pretty challenging because it requires you to compare every note of the song and every beat in your map with every other note and every other beat, but I do think you should consider what parts should be strong and exactly how strong they should be a bit more. The more experience you get, the easier it will be. If you have any specific instance you want to get my opinion on, I'd be happy to talk to you about it, but I'll let you come to me instead of pointing more out. // *Still reading* XD

Anyway, great song, I'm glad you mapped it. There were some pretty cool flows that I thought were on point, but overall the map feels like it has a lot more potential, so try getting more mods before asking for BN's. Best of luck!

A small but huge mistake that is affecting it from being rankable

and note if your going to copy from a map's offsets and other timing points , copy it from a ranked map. // I only see old rank in sayonara memories ehh .-.
