It's clearly the right side, I mean how can it possibly be left. Kibb puts that garbage in his maps all the time so it clearly must be the right side. Ya elo boosted scrub
Kaerulans
The correct answer is left. The one on the right is called a buzzslider
Edit: ok nvm my beliefs were wrong all this time. What do you call the short sliders then though?
grumd
right /thread
BeatofIke
I always thought kick sliders are 1/4 (and lower) note snap with repeat sliders.
As a result, I chose right.

The sliders on the left are just plain 1/4 sliders o3o
Winnie
See BeatofIke understands, common people the answer is so blantly obvious, only real boosted animals would get this wrong.

kibb you make the most interesting debate threads

but to me, the word kickslider in itself is a nonsensical term that has no obvious, intuitive meaning so i never use it when talking about short sliders, preferring to refer to them with unambiguous descriptions.

Stay on topic, please.

Left is what I personally consider to be a kick slider due to the way it's played.

I was always told it is the one on the right, but many people say left though
Sonnyc
Actually, I think the term needs an update. Why are those called a "kick"?

Because they give a "kick" feeling?

Judging from the poll's result so far this wiki article contains outdated information.
Time for an update.

Did you really need a poll for that conclusion xd
I mean
"Tricky Triple Combo"
does anyone use that article for anything anyways?

ok @topic: Generally I'm thinking about 1/4-sliders without reverses when I hear that term, but I feel like it's just simply used as a synonym for 1/4-sliders so 'kickslider with reverses' is being used too I guess? Like, if you say "1/4-slider", does that exclude a 1/4-slider with reverses?
tl;dr both

also, who cares lol
Hey, you wrote "repeat" instead of "reverse", !!! /makes thread about that
:^)
dytedy
kicksliders like

QUICKsliders

left ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Metaku
I've always thought kick sliders meant short sliders with repeats... So I'll vote for right

Asked those about what he thought, and I think this might answer your question

This ^^
The sliders are called this way because they move back and forth really fast, causing some sort of kick
