As requested by phaZ~Snapping suggestions
- 00:50:862 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10,1) - I'm not really a fan of the spacing in this pattern. You have been using 1.5x spacing for intense transitions before, which is not the case here 00:51:529 (8,9,10,1) - . The instrument is rather intense for the whole pattern though, which is why I would use 1.5x spacing for all the circles. Maybe you could make these 00:51:529 (8,9) - stacked to follow the pitch. What would you think about something like this? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4143991 oaky, but I did it slightly different
- 01:11:357 (3,4,5,6) - The jumps seem quite big here compared to the rest of the section and the positions of the sliders seem quite random to me. I can't come up with a suggestion though, maybe you still think of a better pattern. changed
- 01:15:355 - This beat needs some kind of hitsound-emphasis, a finish or atleast a whistle I'd say. simply forgot, done
- 01:16:022 - I would recommend to increase the hitsound volume for this beat, as it's currently covered by the music.
- 01:37:266 (10) - Kinda overmapped circle, I would suggest to delete it as you left these out properly later in the map. okay
- 01:59:510 to 02:02:842 - Those red Timing points are completely unnecessary. Your rhythm is oriented on the guitar and the guitar's timing fluncuates, BUT the rhythm would play and sound a lot better when it's simplified to the rhythm of the drums. You will see below what I mean, but for that, delete those Timing points. yeah
- 01:59:510 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - You can snap them to 1/4 like so: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4144140 I had it like this before, don't know what really happened lol I would recommend you to place NCs on 02:00:176 - 02:00:843 - to make the rhythms more readable, because the New Combos will tell the player to read after Approach Circles to not confuse the 1/2-gaps with 3/4-gaps. done
- 02:01:343 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - The best simplification here would be a combination of 1/4 and 1/3-snap: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4144159 okay
- 02:02:842 (8,9,10) - You can snap these on 1/4: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4144166 done
- 02:07:507 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - This can also be snapped to simple 1/4. https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4144344 02:08:174 - done I would add a New Combo here for the same reason as above - It makes the rhythm change more readable. done 02:08:424 - I have suggested a double here because the instrument is (approximately) on the blue tick but the white tick has the strong cymbal sound. In case you use the suggested rhythm, be careful that the spacings make sense and are readable. naahh, doubles don't fit the style
- These suggestions will help the section to be more readable and playable, they will also sound better when playing. Be careful with the hitsounding and check for unsnapped objects!
Overall I love this map! It's great that your style didn't change since 2012 well I mapped it 95% in February 2013 so that should be expected , such a nice throwback map. The only things that really need work is that one pattern and the section with the timing issues. The rest is just suggestions. Good luck!
- 02:32:834 (8) - Ctrl+G for a slightly better flow? okay
- 02:47:996 (5,6) - Quite a huge jump out of nowhere. I would atleast move (5) a bit closer, like this? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4144396 changed
- 03:16:405 (2,3,4,5,6) - This was very confusing to play. The rhythm itself doesn't make sense, I think you were trying to follow the high-pitched guitar but it is actually on the red ticks. The hitsounding is what really made this confusing to play though, because the slidertails (not clickable) provide much more hitsound feedback to the player than the clickable sliderheads. I would highly recommend you to change the rhythm here and have the hitsounds on the sliderheads instead! true, changed
- 04:22:637 (1,2) - Try to keep the hitsound volume higher for these objects. done
- 04:25:303 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Great pattern! thanks
- 04:27:968 - I feel like this whole section needs higher hitsound volume. changed
- 04:59:460 (1,2) - Hmm, in my opinion there should be a jump between these circles to create a nice finish. Maybe you could arrange it like this? https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4144503 changed
