My thoughts:

-Hovercraft seems a bit.. cluttered and a bit hard to read at times
-You need to redo the green sections. They should be before the note, to prevent wrong hitsounds.

I think that's supergarlic's style. I don't know how to change this. >_>

Only applies to supergarlic, since the others' green sections use kiai time, not other hitsounds.

Then keep a copy of the .osu and .osb, and after you make the saves, revert those SB-related changes back. :D

On [Hovercraft], the SB goes to the failing section even though Auto obviously gets 300 on those very short sliders. Something must be done about those.

Also, lower the volume of the SFXs I mentioned on chat. They're a bit loud, especially the end.

EDIT: The volume of the sounds in question seem to be fine now. Bubbled.

Done. Also fixed in 02:32:13 (1). (Don't forget the second half of the map is the same thing flipped! :P)


Also:

Updated avatars, reduced sfxs' filesizes, double checked SB. .osz is now at 11.4mb. :)

Too much kiai time, sorry. :| The standards are getting stricter about kiai usage now. And a lot of them don't make sense and come in at really awkward times.

Good places for kiai times to start:
00:49:16 and similar, or even 00:49:49 and similar.
01:10:04 and similar, with single kiai sections.
Somewhere in Final Lap that doesn't have kiai during other laps.

[Car]
00:09:15 (1) - I know the end lines up, but the repeat points landing on 1/8s is sloppy.

[Hovercraft]
01:08:95 (1) - Slider should start 1/4 later and have one repeat less. And the one like it later.

I don't think 1 and 4 are really justifiable kiai points here, on any difficulty. The music isn't sufficiently "epic chorus"-sounding.

And for the chorus kiai, it starts at a very annoying point (and it isn't even consistent among difficulties; not that kiai always has to be). Leading in to the chorus with kiai doesn't work at all here. Put them on the first note (00:49:16) or the second note (00:49:49) of the chorus itself.

The storyboard in [T.T.] is no excuse for poor kiai times; it can be changed to work with the new points.

I love how kiai works with the banana sliders at the end of Plane, though. Don't change that part. In fact, I'd say put that in for the first banana sliders, too.

I'm not going to be too strict on one kiai per minute if I feel it's used effectively. And I feel this map tosses it in whenever it wants to. It takes away from the effect kiai time is supposed to have.

Kiai Times' key points:
1. 02:15:931 to 02:22:673 - Chorus (Final Lap) aka change beginning of kiai from "lead-in"
2. 02:37:025 to 02:43:983 - Punctuates storyboard (Final Lap) [Will add back to Lap 2 in just Plane]
3. 02:54:421 to 02:54:530 - Ending fountain.

Kiai's looking fine, but I might have been looking at [Hovercraft] the wrong way at one point in IRC. Sorry if I confused you there.

Some points in [T.T.] are a bit hard to read, but I got the hang of it after a few plays. Just one thing:

The storyboard backgrounds are misaligned by one pixel, so when it fades to the Crescent Island view the entire background seems to shift a bit.

Oh, and the "watch out!" sound effect plays after you've already broken your combo. What good is that? Fix it.

I can't find the cause of this. The "wa" sound in "Watch out!" already plays at the beginning.

This is easily one of the best ones I have ever played. Your mapping style is so intuitive and natural and the little storyboard detail makes the thing enjoyable to replay over and over.

Thanks for the comments. :)

Anybody want a twist to this? Replace the mp3 in the song folder with the one attached and you'll get a DS feel to the song. Personally, I think the DS version of all DKR songs sound terrible, but if you prefer the other (and still want your play to get ranked!), try this. The mp3 has been edited to match the offset of the N64 version (almost) perfectly, so no worries. The sound effects from the storyboard may be a bit conflicting though, since the sfx in the DS version are different as well.
