I clicked a random map in #modreqs. Congratulations, you've been selected!
I'm going to say something up front. This map needs a lot of work. Most of my comments are going to be more generalized in nature since you're the mapper here, not me.
General
Timing is definitely off. Do this for all difficulties:
BPM: 185.00
Offset: 837
Adjust slider speed downard some since the BPM just got a big boost. Change to 1/4 and resnap everything, then go manually redo things that broke because of this resnap (there will be a lot of them). You shouldn't need to use 1/6 divisor anymore with this new BPM. In fact, you can do most editing in 1/2.
Add hitsounds where appropriate. I don't remember hearing many, if any, while playing. You won't get this map ranked without them.
Use inherited timing when setting up the kiai section. Hell, use inherited timing in general. The only times you shouldn't use it are when the BPM is changing by some factor that isn't 0.5 or 2.
Easy
Waaaaaay too many of those little sliders that bounce back and forth. Especially for an easy map. It feels like you took a higher difficulty and replaced streams with sliders of equal length. I'd do away with most of these and replace them with simple beat patterns. You can use a slider tick rate of 2 to get a similar effect.
More slider talk: use some sliders that aren't just straight lines. Maps with tons of straight lines, especially ones that only go straight up/down or left/right along the grid, are pretty boring to look at.
Use distance snap. It's okay to have a few jumps here and there if the map really calls for it, but generally, easy maps should have really simple and consistent spacing.
The overall difficulty could stand to be kicked up a notch. It's too low for your beat density. It makes the map hard to read.
I would start the ending slider at 01:27:432 to catch that sick guitar riff.
Other Difficulties
Same stuff as easy about the sliders. Vary it up some. The diagonal lines and that wavy slider on Normal are a good start. Refine the difficulty settings once you're done mapping. Overall Difficulty is a tool to make a map playable first and a tool to make it difficult second.
Conclusion
In the future, don't get started mapping until you have the timing correct. Otherwise you set yourself up a bunch of lame resnap work.
After you give the map a thorough layer of polish, feel free to PM me for a remod. I'll star the map then, too.
also let me know if you want a guest difficulty
