First time making a thread like this so please be patient with me.
My idea is I think fairly simple and is probably best understood with this image.
Having fixed positions for these elements will result in less distraction on the playfield. I think many people will agree that this would be a good feature.
Specially on maps with many elements in a short period of time it can be quite frustrating to have about 10-15 of those elements on your screen.
I hope this will get some attention.

You can manipulate the time they're on screen by making them animated.
Just add blank images as
hit300-0.png
hit300g-0.png
hit300k-0.png
hit100-0.png
hit100k-0.png
hit50-0.png

This will trigger an animation for the 300/100/50, meaning that instead of your initial hit100.png staying on screen until its fade-time is over it will quickly go through the animationsteps(aka going blank) and fade as the last picture in the animation(=the blank pic).
That should soften the issue so much that you won't find the request useful anymore especially since it lacks feedback on which note you misstimed.

I believe there are also some settings in the skin.ini you can set regarding the speed of the animationprocess.

What W3SON is asking for is the option to set a specific location on the screen, such as the top left corner in the example screenshot, where all hitbursts will appear, regardless of where the note was hit.

As an option, I see nothing wrong with the idea.

I'm aware.
However his suggestion emerged from the situation that many hitbursts are on-screen at the same time and you can significantly reduce that number by making them animated which lowers the need of such a feature to the point where it can be deemed unnecessary.
+ as already mentioned:
There's no distinctive feedback about which note you got a 100 on due to them changing so quickly. It's just as impractical to watch for feedback in a corner as it is to look for your accuracy in the top right corner.

If you want to tell me that animated 300s don't solve the problem I don't know.
I also want to add that you might very likely need to add more than 1 animation frame for the 300 even to be visible as osu! runs at a higher fps than your monitor. If only use 0 and 1 I don't see a thing at least. The skin by rustbell shown above uses 9 animationsprites at an AnimationFramerate of 60 fyi.
Check his boom+0822.1 for reference(third from the right on his profile).

Would be nice for taiko/mania
