Something that caught my attention was how the UN sent out a "list of issues" to Sweden revolving around womens rights and what we should do to accelerate the change of inequality and eliminate discrimination against women. This sounds good, only to be followed by stuff like encourage women to for example work less part time and more full time, like men do. To force men and women to have equal father and mother leave even though that should be up to the couple to decide. To force more women public figures & politicians only because of gender and not merit quote
"Please indicate whether the State party intends to use quotas and other temporary special measures to increase the number of women:
(a)In managing director posts and management teams in State-owned companies (para. 171);
(b)On boards, in managing director posts and in management teams within publicly owned companies;
(c)Chairing public boards;
(d)In high-level positions in foreign affairs, including in United Nations and European Union institutions."
It's a paper entirely about how women needs to get encouraged, what we should do to make them more encouraged blablablabla
Do they not realize that people have different goals in life and that everything doesn't NEED to be exactly 50/50 just because one is a girl and the other isn't?
They don't even factor that in!
I'm tired of this madness, stop policing how people should live their lives please mister UN
