Yes I know you are trying to troll
No, they pay for it because they've been brainwashed and they are fan boys?Xanek wrote:

And people pay for games because it interests them, so I dont think it really matters if the price is that high for it, unless it was utter crap.

My brother made me start playing with the trial thing he had. I hate it right now cause I never win, and I've only been playing against A.I.'s! Right now I'm using Protoss, though. It always seems like I'm going at too slow a pace because they always come rape my base early in the game.CDFA wrote:

over priced - true
you pay 60$ and all you get is terran campaign - true
you can't play anything if bnet is down or if you don't have internet - you only need it to install the game, not to play it
and I can keep on going
Are you still on the trial? If not, what's your Name.### on there?! I need someone to play with o:!Takuma wrote:

Sounds like most of the stuff you're complaining about is stuff 90% of the community has been complaining about for over a year now , while the rest is up for debate/minor things that people have come to terms with by now. Coincidentally the stuff that everyone's been complaining about (chat rooms, cross-realm play, custom map system) are all things Blizzard has said they'll address via patches after release.Ph0X wrote:
No more lan Yeah it sucks but anti-piracy + the new battle.net system explains this, the two problems with no lan are that households have to buy 2 or 3 copies to play with each other and there's no lan for tournaments (though I heard rumors of a "tournament pack" for tournament organizers that would have lan, not sure if those are true or not but since Blizzard teamed up with GOM now in Korea, maybe it will happen since they seem interested in promoting esports). I thought I was going to miss lan because I'm a big DotA player on WC3 and I wanted a listchecker-type of program for SC2, but the way b.net is set up you don't really need a third party program like that (not saying I like their system but it makes listchecker largely useless). Honestly, the only situations people are going to play lan is because of: a. piracy + hamachi, b. tournament (which I mentioned), c. cyber cafe d. rare occasion that two brothers in the same house want to play or something like that, or the even rarer occasion that the whole damn family wants to play. Don't people just bring their computers to LAN parties anyways? So that's not even a valid point since everyone would have their own copies of SC2 anyways. I'd like it if that "Spawn" feature from SC1 came back so you could install it on a friend's computer and have them play with you but oh well.Xanek wrote:

no more cross-regional play Going to be addressed in the future
60$ again for dlc What? The expansions? Nobody complained about Brood War when that came out, and that offered less content than these expansions are going to have, plus they're not even confirmed to be $60.
can't play with people who have dlc You couldn't do that in SC1+BW or WC3+TFT, I don't see the validity here.
can't pick server I honestly don't have a huge problem with lag playing on the b.net servers, other than the first few days of the game being released. It's not listchecker-esque or iccup launcher type of zero lag, but it's really not that bad, and in SC2 you don't need picture-perfect timing, apm, and accuracy to be good at the game, so if there is some sort of small delay it's negligible. Even the pros have admitted that the game takes less overall effort than Brood War.
can't host any map you want Thought I heard something about them changing the way custom maps work in the future, but I can't quite recall
no more /f chatting Sucks but hopefully they'll address it in a patch when they overhaul the chat system
no more chat rooms Future patch along with clan support
over priced Opinion, I have no problem paying $60 for a game I'll play for hundreds/thousands of hours, rather than paying $60 for a game like FF13 for the 360 that I'll play for 40-50 hours and never play again.
you pay 60$ and all you get is terran campaign I don' t care about campaign at all but I can see how people would complain about this, however everyone I know who's played the campaign has said it is fantastic, even if they are Zerg/Toss players primarily.

and I can keep on going

And if you're going to argue that Blizzard should have fixed all this shit before the game came out, there's no way, they thought it was a good idea and the feedback they got from beta and the community proved otherwise. You can't completely rehaul a game this massive that's been in production for god knows how many years, which is why myself (and others) are fine with the game as it is now and can look forward to it getting "fixed" in the future.inb4igetcalledablizzardfanboy
Or couple months until multiplayer gets cracked, and updated with full server support, so I can laugh at all you people who got fucked in the ass paying 60$ and not even getting lan-support, just to get rid of pirates, and all that for nothing.Randy96 wrote:

Hey, I never forced anyone to argue with me, and I didn't start arguing either. I just pointed out that you people were feeding a company that doesn't deserve your money (in my opinion), and people asked me for my thoughts, and I just provided them. If they don't want to continue arguing, then stop replying to my posts (which they did), and I won't reply! (which I was doing)Nharox wrote:
