I understand where luke is coming from when he is talking about the difficulty spikes. I read the thread before playing the map so I was semi-expecting it to get hard on my first play of the song, but I actually died. Second time I passed with a pretty poor score.
Insane is fun though, don't get me wrong, I just think it's bordering overkill in terms of difficulty towards the end. Rankable? I think so. That's not the problem at hand. I think a good in-between insane/normal difficulty is required though. Possibly burai's he has in the making?.

To make the beat silent during such things sounds incredibly empty. When there's no echo whatsoever, that's when it's appropriate.

I wasn't trying to limit the map to strictly being 1.0x snap, I was just trying to say that it could use SOME sections to develop off of instead of starting off with a jump.

Since I already FC this, that mean playable.I did pass it, thank you very much. It took maybe three tries to pin down the patterns just because they were so terribly ADD at the end. Even then, I didn't FC, that took me another few tries (simply because I'm not as skilled at osu! as I am at other rhythm games).
why don't go practice and get some serious skill to pass it >_>?

Quite frankly, I never saw my maps as flawless (seriously, if someone would care to explain why they would choose to believe that I possess this mindset, that would be wonderful, so I can get rid of their doubts), since I still find glaring flaws with them, flaws that many, many, many people will not notice but I just find too hard to ignore (thus explaining why I never upload).

You'd have to be such a suck-up to believe such a thing, sorry. Every map should at least have a solid foundation to develop off of. Also, just because a map is Insane doesn't mean that it has to defy logic, doesn't mean that it has to be random; you shouldn't screw with the way the map flows. If you have something like Boten Anna, it should flow smoothly, whereas you have parts in here that flow like a river of bricks.james039 wrote:

That being said, I'm willing to overlook Insane and all of the flaws I see in it if a reasonable medium difficulty is reached. That would be the one thing that would make me not magnify these flaws.
