I'm kinda confused though, I drew clairvoyant so I thought it could be mafia or town based, but it says I discarded town clairvoyant. So were we supposed to know the alignment before discarding, or no?

I don't want to waste a Vigilante kill on a townie that COULD end up hurting the town.
