Dammit.
I really don't like claiming, but I might as well if you are all going to.
I am a 1-Shot day Vigilante.
I doubt I will survive until D2. That's why I will probably use my kill today.
If I get dayvigged, nobody trust the person who killed me. But thinking about it more, I doubt that if there is a mafia day vigilante that they would reveal themselves pretty much as mafia just to kill the other day Vigilante.

Yeah, I got caught on that one didn't I.
I was just editing out a mistyped "I". No game changing info, so don't worry, but it's a rule nevertheless. I apologies and I won't do it again.
Also, I am not going to shoot anyone yet, I'm going to wait a bit. Shooting a townie might end up losing the town the game.

We have no way to tell what you were actually changing just dont do it, if you have a typo you can make a NEW post saying that "this was supposed to be read X instead of Y because typo". Also dont try to do things without getting caught things like this will get you banned from most games because they dont want a player trying to evade the rules without "getting caught"

Yeah, this is fair. On the other main forum site I'm on edits don't get shown if it's edited within about 30 seconds or so, I messed up in forgeting that this site works differently.
I just posted it, saw the mistake and wanted to fix it since it's kind of just a reflex for me now. xD
Now can we move on from this topic? If we talk about me messing up in this game each time I mess up, we will be off topic during the whole day phase.

the fun thing is that masons are only guaranteed to be non mafia, so all you'd be would be neighbors that know they arent mafia. But yeah i remember others making this mistake on the greatest idea mafia I hosted.

btw mason is not town only here either, there's a goo mason in the list, metalsonic is prob town either way.

Some people, including me just feel like its odd that you would choose VT over a role that can actually do something.
Even if its not much, its better then being able to really do nothing.

Frostings being VT? I'd believe it, but I still find it surprising he would discard a helpful role for it.
Also, that makes 3 VT claims... seems a bit off honestly.

I still think pieguy is scum.

metal sonic1 is town, that mason claim seemed way too legit to be faked (As in, I don't think he would put that much emphasis on the fact someone else discarded a mason card).

GIF is town, gut feeling.

I could defend myself by saying I would probably never choose mafia or a third alignment over town given the choice, but like that's not even a defense :|

I'm kinda confused though, I drew clairvoyant so I thought it could be mafia or town based, but it says I discarded town clairvoyant. So were we supposed to know the alignment before discarding, or no?

Also I just searched up what coroner does, and wtf that role is so useless??
I thought it was some good investigative role so I FoS'd the people who discarded it

I rechecked my role PM to make sure and you're right that the town tracker only says "Tracker" so i can believe this, normally you'd assume that the lack of an alignment on it means town. You're still discarding a town PR, why did you think picking clayvoirant would make you scum if you had taken it? And why are you using this defense of "i wouldn't take a mafia role over a town role"?

considering Dake discarded Mafia Goon, and given Dake's behaviour during RVS, I can believe his VT claim

(on the other hand, MB's VT claim isn't something I can believe) neither is my claim tbh

what is it about Dake's behavior during RVS that makes you believe his claim?

also if you had to choose between say VT and Vig, I might understand if you'd prefer to avoid the responsibility of using your active role properly but a Clairvoyant is strictly better, like literally it's for all intents and purposes the exact same VT you wanted, but you get bonus info for free, so like really I can't wrap my head around this.

ok I just reread it but supersaint is the one that you don't control, we can just force someone to place the hammer allowing us to lynch you for free basically so yeah, unless we want to get rid of the dayvig shot I don't see the point.

I dont think GIF scum would be making that kind of move on Day 1 (maybe later on), and it's a good point that pie prefers to play as town than as scum so pie discarding town makes her town.

Re: the supersaint claim. It's not useless claimed, if we believe you're scum we decide who hammer lest they be lynched instead.

Re: The VT pick, i still don't see why you think receiving a role called "Clayvoirant" would have any implication as being 50% chance of being mafia when you could either A) Check back on the greatest idea mafia i hosted where i explained what it meant when a role had no alignment on it or B) Ask the mod.

I don't want to waste a Vigilante kill on a townie that COULD end up hurting the town.
I would only kill you if someone is about to hammer, and I doubt anyone would hammer after that claim.

Oh btw, I was thinking about having my vigilante kill server as a second d1 lynch and allow people to vote on who I should kill.
Anyone opposed to that idea?
