Recently checked it out, it's really nice!

Here's something to add, I personally think you should add multiple modes (e.g taiko, osu!mania, ctb).

Compared to std players, some of them don't play std often/not at all, and usually play the other modes.

It would be nice if you could add more modes! I don't play std often and I'm already good enough in Taiko!

As for Xilver and HappyStick scores - Xilver has less combo. HR doesn't affect tenacity

I think I found a bug in my information because my highest score for precision is a 21pp play on Kana Ueda - Pumpkin Ondo. It also shows up under tenacity but isn't there in any of the other categories.
Not that I'm contesting the scores that the map gives but that a 21pp play is nowhere near my top100 as my 100th score is around 120pp.

Its a great concept, but like pp relies on prior plays.
My Tenacity is rated 420, but I think thats only going on outdated info.
I don't know how good 420 is, but I know there's no way I could hit that today.

Pretty cool system though, useful.

Updater updatie update!
- Added Top 100 scores and Top PP scores autoupdates.
Global updates happen weekly and scores from Top PP lists update twice a day (at max)
- You can also see how much you've improved since your previous osu!Skills user update
- Added flags, an osu!Skills site logo, loading animations
- Added Recently checked section
- Added short skill descriptions to some pages
- Fixed some calculator bugs
- Fixed problems for usernames with spaces

If anything looks broken try clearing cache and/or refreshing the page with Ctrl-F5

Before this forum gets flooded by bug reports the following is known:
  • Long bars (900+) go to the next line in VS
    There are visible bullets in the recently checked section
    Last user's avatar gets cut off in the recently checked section if there is a VS search in the list

I think the calculation is a bit wrong (especially with Tenacity) but I like the idea, nice work !

I really actually like this! It's quite fun to check yourself out and see where you stand in terms of your own skill and to improve yourself in different aspects. It's really cool actually :)

damn found HazzardFreak has 1050 points on precision on granat irre's extra hdhr (we definitlly need a chart to see who has the best in 1 stat and who has most overall)

Something about the updating of top scores doesn't seem to be working correctly.

I had a 98.82% FC that I improved to 99.53% some 10 hours ago, which probably should increase its value in Accuracy. However, despite having supposedly updated my Top PP "about 2 hours ago", it still displays my old percentage and Rhythmic accuracy score.

thats just the last time your name was loaded it clearly says the last update was 3 days ago, would love to see it update every few hours (or hour) waitting sucks ukn

To my understanding, this means that the global scores were updated 3 days ago and my personal top scores 3 hours ago.

How often does this update scores? I made some new top 100 plays but none of my numbers went up when I first checked. I checked back a few days later and the stats are different.

This is awesome. Great work! Clean UI, easy to use and good analysis with versus. As it is now, it would be cool if you could compare multiple players instead of just 2, but I don't know what you are planning for the future regarding the versus function.

Similar to what tp was used for back in the day, this is nice to see where I am falling short and where others similar in skill to me are excelling and I am not.

I'm looking forward to your guys' take on rhythmic accuracy and memory. I remember the thread about it from a while back, and the discussion put forward some interesting concepts, suggesting not only is it possible, but it could eventually be quite an accurate metric. It just takes a lot of analysis before coming up with a rather simple set of conditions/rules... as you are doing! Keep it up!

I think the Memory calculation not only FL but HD mod
Since HD is almost familiared with FL the difference is on HD you cant see the circles and FL is covering the whole screen except your cursor

This should be added on Memory calculation

You obviously never tried to FC something with FL nor did you think about what memory means.

I like it, clean UI, explains it's statistics, all around kinda nice to look at.

One thing I'd like to see is recent statistics though, I don't know how limited the osu! api is, but having the past 100 finished plays count somehow could give us a really nice way of seeing if a player is in a slump or when they last worked on ranking.

That said, I really am only saying this because I'm about to come to this game after barely playing during the past month, and want to monitor dem stats go up like crazy.

There's some weird stuff going on in the bottom of my tenacity scores.

Both Hishoku No Sora and Seventh-Heaven have triples and 5 note streams, while neither is something I'd expect any significant tenacity score from this seems really low.

Very good work, got a little question, the score are "random"? I mean i have several top 100 score and several sub 100 score , i don't understand , all the score work or only the top score? Memory and precision seems to be sub 100 but not the other .

Tenacity considers streams longer than 6 notes

The scores are taken from top100 map scoreboards and your topPP plays

Top-Plays that get pushed out of your Top 100 plays will get deleted from osu!skills even if it would remain a high score for a specific skill:

^the nyanyan score was with NF and gave me 92pp when i submitted it, now it got pushed out and it disappeared from Tenacity completely.
(AND I STILL THINK IT'S UNDERWEIGHTED)

Bursting 6 notes like a retard is pretty easy and doesn't mean you can actually stream.

My Tenacity is way too high.

Short streams are 5 -8 notes and longer streams are generally just above 8.
So either pick 9 or 5 as the lower boundary but 6 makes no sense.

It's pretty subjective
I chose 7note streams as a starting point for this

Deathstreams are more like 20+.

Just like Endaris said, SHORT streams are 5-8 and you can't judge streaming skills in short streams when you know that you can just smash your keyboard to do them.

With longer streams (or no-short streams) you need finger control, this is what Tenacity makes me think.

I'm really curious about it.
Especially whether the maps that currently have no worth in the other sections actually get attention or not.

It's very funny to see how maps like Granat Natural Gem non-FC at 98% acc gives 276 points in tenacity and a map like Akiyama Uni - Chi no Iro wa Kiiro 950/1020 combo gives 292 points even though the amount of 1/4 is not even close to comparable.
Personally I can't remember any stream longer than 5 notes in Granat either...

I think it's 0 points in memory because the "memory" portion of the +FL mod doesn't really start to kick in until you're past 100x combo (the first time the flashlight window shrinks). Considering that this map only goes up to 97 combo, there really isn't any memory needed.

I played it and it doesn't need memorization, the next circle is ALWAYS visible at the very edge of the visible area which means that you can FC the map without memorization as long as you have a clean skin and good reactions.
SS might be not as easy but that's not part of memorization.

The circles are always visible in all the other memory scores I have ._.

Maybe you could take into consideration hidden in your thing(if it's already the case, try to work more on it :\), since my best one (at 256 with DT+HR+FL) was WAY easier(took me like 2-3 tries) than the one I complained about (that took me over 70 tries with HD+DT+HR+FL)

There is no stressbonus - only the visible radius changes.
I checked the map personally and everything was visible from a previous object.
Maybe you should tweak your display/monitor settings. Because if you have them too dark you may not see what you infact should.

Is there a way you can also fetch the top50(250?) plays per selected mod? It could be very useful for calculating reading for the EZmod players, since their plays aren't going to appear anywhere else! :P

Actually it's possible and it should be able to capture additional scores, but it will take longer to process. Currently it takes a long time to go through all the thousands of beatmaps and this will double to quadruple this time with some duplicate reaults. It will be kert's calling to decide whether to do this

Dunno. Unlike the previous skills, this one is hard to pull off, but we are working on it. Just be patient.

hey, I'd like to report a "bug". i hope I'm right here.

Anyway,
recently I changed my username via account support, and its also on osu.ppy.sh. But the problem is,that it isn't that way on the website. I still need to use 0Nothing0 instead of N0thing, if I type N0thing, then the american guy appears. However it still regnoices changes like my PB.
