I know what addiction is and I was definitely getting addicted to cigars when I first tried them for fun, but never once have I had a problem quitting when I wanted to.
That being said, some forms of alcohol can be both healthy and beneficial when you drink moderately, but no kind of smoking can ever be good for you. Quit that shit or throw days and months (or even years) of your life away for no reason at all.
