Hey guys,
here is something that didin't looks like a right ranking. -> http://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmap?b=52342&m=1 -> Saki -> Taiko

This is the Automode score: 50760P


This is Davitylant's score: 51960P


This is inpossiblexu's score: 51930P


This is OnosakiHito's score: 51000P


Here something we should now:


With slow -> x0,38
Without slow -> x1,26

1.) It's not possible that some one can get more points with x0,38 as some one who played with x1,26. Like Davitylant and inpossiblexu.
2.) And it's not possible that some one has more points as the Automode. Like other players and me.

1.) Too bad if you didn't know, but when you HalfTime a song in taiko mode you get twice as many sliderticks, so it is possible to have a higher score with HalfTime.

2. Is the auto score without any modes or with the appropriate modes? i.e. are you sure the auto score does not have any modes and you or impossiblexu have one or more modes on?

- In other songs it's not possible to get more scores with half-time... that's the only one I saw now.

2.) I'm sure. The Automode and the players had the same modes. You can see it in the screens.

Also, in taiko, you don't take the total score and x0.36 it. It's 300 + (whatever is added due to combo) * x0.36 for every note, so you are guaranteed at least 300 for every note.

About the player I reported before, 3.0x (not sure) spacing jumps, only separated by 1/2, and on 200+ flashlight+hidden combo, the circle is completely invisible (as TKiller said). I don't know, uh... just watch the replay, you'll see.
Maybe memorization too though... but it's still nearly impossible

it's not that impossible, actually, but the number of retries is just wrong, there are very few people who can memorize maps that perfectly

It's not about his playing style, but about his reputation and date of registration. New players don't do score like this, especially with not many plays. Also - I haven't seen him in top50 on ANY of maps that are in his top play count (I can add that I haven't seen him anywhere else too). This guy stinks.

I saw the replays, and also some friends saw them, and every time he does a jump it starts moving slower as if it were half time.

LemonWater seems extremely suspicious to me.

This guy plays 24/7

I know he's Japanese and all but come on. The past week or two, every new song that's come out he's been number 1 on it.

I'm sorry if you're just a HUGE fan of Osu or something but goddamn man you raise some suspicions, 15,000 plays in May and June, Fifteen THOUSAND. That's more than I've played since I BEGAN playing Osu in December.

It's either 2-3 guys playing on one account or some king of motion bot (I know it sounds far-fetched)

You have a point but Tana last played 15 hours ago.

Lemonwater only just stopped playing 3 hours ago from what I'm assuming was a 10+ hour play session judging from his highscores. Something is extremely fishy about him.

Someone called Auto_ got rank 14 with hard rock and double time. the guy 's in the rank 29,500 and only 20 plays on the map. thats really not right

joined four days ago, SSs Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka - Magnet [Hard] for the first time,

and then sets #2 record on Silver Forest - Eternally Unreachable Distance [Lunatic] with Hidden.

His replays also seem a little bit strange, often times his cursor moves long distances at a constant velocity like an auto play would do.

Definitely something fishy about this player.


EDIT : @Bullsh0t well if you've played other rhythm games before i guess you could do that on easy or normal, but lunatic is a completely different story.

Things like that are never sure. Thats just like me, I got 4th place on 'That Goddamn Fish' at the day I joined.
Even though, I did that on normal difficulty, and he/she did on hard and lunatic. And from what you last said, it would be impossible for a human to keep the exact same speed.

So yes, there is something going on here.

In Catch the Beat, each fruit droplet is only worth 10 points but contributes as much as any other note towards the accuracy. On the other hand, each spinner note is worth 1100 points. As such, if one does better on the spinners, they can miss 110 fruit droplets before getting the same score as someone else who caught one less fruit during a spinner, while having a far worse accuracy, which is what happened there.

once again, he is just showing off. I watched the replay and he/she purposely misses the fruit droplets and catches a bunch of the spinner fruits. And yes the replay is legit

Colored has been here for a pretty long time, and I've seen a lot of records of him. 10 100's? What's wrong with it. If you can call him a cheater then can I call H1ko a cheater for SS'ing a lot of so hard songs? Or Cookiezi? Or hvick225? NO

Seriously, LoweH, stop this. Report things that are OBVIOUS like spinner or auto hacks, not people that S'd a hard song with so few 100's. You're just making another flame war with no reason.

I know that kanopu was alredy reported for cheating in Marisa, but i would like to report him again. I was trying to get 1st place, so i just watched Kanopu's Rokodo's and Youngdow's replays carefully. Also i amde some counting and tried to play song in HT. Conclusion was , that this isn't 1/8 stream. Its 1/16 stream, because of strange slider->note conversion. I wasn't able to FC marisa on HT, while I am able to play song like:

I can pass 1/4 250bpm stream easily, so i don't think that 1/8 stream using 170bpm and ht should be any problem, while it was. So, 16x170bpm= 2720
2720/60=45,(3)
That means that in order to FC that stream you would have to press keyboard/button/tatacon or w/e over 45 per secod which is pretty impossbile.
Also Rokodo's replay looks complete unrealistic. He doubled clicked all the notes. And it's impossbile to double click in the deathstream because of the insane speed. So he used bot (macro probably), because he passed youngdow by over 100k, which mean he had to double click the notes inside the deathstream.
My conclusion is that highest score achieved without cheating is youngdow one, which still looks strange for me (getting such combos on deathstream?) but it is possible probably to do that using mouse+keyboard somehow. Also if kanopu/Rokodo didn't cheat they will be able to post a video.

Click is both reds, so you can say maybe this replay if before the mouse click change, but always all notes are with double, so he must play with 1 mouse key and did 1/16 streams (i can say is too with 2 fingers is almost impossible 1/16), or use macro .. (macro not allowed)

(i mean if he used a key on the keyboard and one of mouse, in replay you see 1 note with both press and other with normal press, so i think is only mouse)

170 x 8 = 1360, 250 x 4 = 1000. Marisa's 1/8 streams are faster than 250BPM's 1/4 streams. Now let's take into account HT... that would make Marisa's BPM reduced to 127.5 . 127.5 x 8 = 1020, which is STILL FASTER than 250BPM's 1/4 streams.

Conclusion: you're doing it wrong.

Also just to remind that half-time makes a song go 0.75x slower and not 0.5x slower. Maybe even 0.8x, IDR.

I still do have suspicion on kanopu though. Well, with Rokodo... errr, maybe I'll keep that issue to myself just to avoid commotion. youngdow himself did say that with the TaTaCon you can pretty much do that though (believe it or not, I've tried; indeed you CAN press faster on the drum than on the keyboard, mainly because of the opposite force that goes to your hand when you hit the drum, making movement a bit easier)

To check, maybe I can make a Yawaraka-type Taiko map on http://osu.ppy.sh/s/9917 , and someone try to clear that with an FC. I know youngdow can do that lol

Be reminded that mouse clicks count as the left side of the drum (changed in latest build, mouse click doesn't register both sides anymore). If his right hand was on the mouse, and his left was on the left-side bindings, it would then make sense.

My previous post was addressed to 1miko1 btw.

I really need to solve this mystery... I only need some proof X_X

I don't know if there are any known cheaters in Taiko, but I do agree that Taiko needs more attention than it is getting right now.

Also, I am not sure, but using two screens to hr+fl+hidden everything is allowed? I heard it is O_o Because if not, there are plenty of scores which looks "strange". Also i always though that HT is somthing like x0.6. Also I am passing 157bpm stream still without problems (1/8 ofc), I've also tried 178bpm stream, I can do it, and I can even pass 190BPM, took me some retries and the stream is way shorter than that one in marisa but still... If I can do 1/8 with over 170bpm, why can't I FC marisa? I can't even FC it on halftime, so it HAS to be 1/16 stream.

It's not 1/16, not even 1/8 if I remeber correct, just simple 1/4.

Taiko, not osu!standard. Sliders get converted to notes if they're too short and don't have Taiko-only mode on.

@1miko1: I swear you're doing it wrong. If you're judging your hits by the noise that's in the BG music, then that's probably why; the notes don't follow that noise.

Because if they were truly 1/16, then I don't think anyone outside of Cookiezi or ShaggoN can FC that on osu!standard.

Ofc it is 1/8 in osu!, but because of strange algorithm, its 1/16 in taiko...Also, if its 1/4, 1/6 or even 1/8, why MittenMasterz and youngdow didn't FC it? I can bet that it's faster than 1/8, probably 1/16. Also, peppy knows how this algorithm work, so he should be able to judge wether it's "simple 1/4" , 1/8 or 1/16. And 1/8 is possible with 170bpm, that's why people can FC it in osu!
EDIT: I checked how this algorith works...It converts beggning and the ending of slider to a beat, and add some notes inside if its somewhat longer. So, in marisa, where there are 1/8 sliders it converts the ending to the beats as well, so there are 2x more notes = its 1/16

EDIT2: There is 193 notes in that stream divide by duration 8,47 gives about 22,75 clicks per second. 22,75*60/170=8. I guess I was wrong then and it's 1/8 stream. Anyway the question is, why people in osu! can pass it and they can't in taiko (most of them...)? Then it must be 1/4 in osu!, and probably is. Well, it is possible to FC it then, but none 100? Odd. And rokodo had to press both brums in deathstream to get only 1k less score than kanopu. So even if it is only 1/8 stream, I am pretty sure that both of them cheated

In any case, long explanation short: it's not possible to have a slider that's 1/16 short. No 1/16 short sliders = no 1/16 apart notes.

...are you seriously implying that if a pro can do it, then youngdow/Mittenz can do it as well...?

youngdow may be a true Tatsujin, but he isn't a Taiko god to be able to do everything.

Also reminding that even youngdow himself said that Marisa stream is possible (no idea why he isn't doing it... probably because he doesn't have anything to plug Tatacon to his comp)

Lol why is this even being debated, Taiko is full of cheaters. (Reason why I don't play ranked anymore, let alone play much at all) Still can't believe you guys haven't realized kanpou is hax xD.(My suspicion is that it's a multi account. >.>) Like really if he were to fc that marisa roll with tatacon, imagine the lag between the hit and then the register on osu!.

But none the less I will put my 2 cents in on this marisa thing.

I have sat down for a few hours in the past trying to hit the marisa "deathstream" and I still can't really do it, compared to other deathstreams I have perfected: Shoushitsu, 250BPM, U.N. Owen Was Her. Marisa should be A WALK IN THE PARK. I know i'm going fast enough but my hits arn't registering, kinda dumb.

And mmkay, I think the only way to have any proofs if kanopu cheated or not is to open his replay manually and check it for suspitiously equal timings between hits on that deathstream (though like hell if I know how to do that).

Any further discussions are pretty pointless, just personal opinions, thoughts going in the "how to fc that stream" and not "if #1 is cheated" way.

I already said that I was wrong, it's 1/8, which doesn't mean kanpou and Rokodo didn't cheat. SS on thatstream seems impossible and double clicking is impossible as well, and probably just passing it with alot of 100 is impossible. Also, i just passed it on HT so can someone tell me what is halftime speed?
@TKiller: I have no idea how to download it to the HDD so I can open it with notepad, so we can solve this mysterious problem if peppy just check the replay on server.

Anyway, I won't belive any of these score is fair... But probably because of "lack of evidence" no action will be taken =/. But it's just like the guy on emerald sword...There is no proof really, but it's obvious he idd cheat, right?

Although I don't pay that much attention to my play count, I do tend to practice offline or with the Spun-Out mod on before I come close to FCing a song with FL.
