Nomination Assessment Team

Disqualification Notice

Hello!

Unfortunately, the Quality Assurance Team has decided to disqualify this beatmap. The following is a list of reasons and examples for the disqualification. We do not outline every issue in detail, so make sure to take the idea behind each reason and apply it to the entire beatmap as issues might be found in more than the spots mentioned below. If you have any questions, please reply to this post and we will do our best to clarify any misunderstandings.

General

Spread Issues

  • The spread from Futsuu to Muzukashii is too big. Futsuu uses simple 1/1 patterns with very few 1/2 notes in, while Muzukashii introduces long 1/2 patterns mixed with 1/4 notes, and in some parts, really close to Oni. Whether you increase the difficulty of Futsuu a bit and add a Kantan or make the current Muzukashii a bit simpler is up to you. Have in mind you also have a dense Oni.
    Examples:
  1. 00:51:716 - Here you have some complex patterns in Muzukashii, while Oni is quite simple.
  2. 01:07:957 - Here the big spread jump is visible.
Muzukashii

Too short time between spinner and the next note.

  • Current use of spinner is dangerous due its dense placement to the other patterns.
  1. 01:15:401 - Try moving it to 01:15:175 - to avoid bigger overlaps.
Lack of rest moments

  • They are present in Muzukashii and Oni, but not here, leading to spread issues.
  1. 00:17:431 -
Jamu's Oni

Incorrect snapping.

  • The following notes must be snapped to 1/3 Beat Snap Divisor, not 1/4.
  1. 01:15:175 - 01:16:528 -
Use of Slider Velocity

  • Slider velocity should be 1.40.
Lack of refinement of some patterns.

  • Some patterns could be improved to follow the song better and provide a better rhythm.
    Examples:
  1. 00:51:716 - Having a constant d k d k would follow the vocals better.
  2. 01:01:416 (12,13,14,15,16,17) - You should map vocals accurately here and the upcoming patterns.

If you happen to have concerns about this disqualification, you can contest the decision with this form. Before using this form, please read the instructions carefully.

The Beatmap Nominators may handle this mapset after the issues have been addressed.

Good luck!

Looked at it and said it's good, but she had to write something, that's why it's "#KROWA" :P

Editor may highlight the incorrect notes. Timestamps will likely be more accurate.

[General]
  1. Some diffs have completely wrong sampleset and additions added for some reason. Go on every diff, highlight every note (ctrl+a) and choose Auto for both Sampleset and Additions.
  2. 80% volume for all diffs? 70% is enough for some parts of the song to muffle some hitsounds.
[Jamu's Oni]
  1. HP 6 and OD 6? 6.5 OD at 133 BPM doesn't seem like too good of an idea.
  2. 00:07:393 (22) - Delete, because this stream is too long, even if it's simple.
  3. 00:08:295 (30) - Delete this note so 00:08:408 (31) - can be a K? Sacrificing stream length for proper emphasis is one of my favorite things to see in maps. Up to you.
  4. 00:09:536 (36,37,38,39,40,41,42) - ddkkkkd? Maps to the warawara sound and...
 00:10:889 (45,46,47,48,49,50,51) - This can now be dkddkkd, which I think fits nicer here than at the start.
  5. 00:10:889 (44,45,46,47,48,49,50) - k dkddk, like you do in kiai time? Then delete the note at 00:11:791 (51) - . This first part shouldn't be denser than kiai.
  6. 00:12:694 (55,56,57,58,59,60,61) - d kdkkd for the same reason as above.
  7. 00:13:258 (61,63) - k for these? I think it's a nicer looking pattern, and the k after is nice flow.
  8. 00:18:784 (80,81,82,83,84,85) - dkdkkd? Then 00:19:573 (86,87,88,89,90) - k dkd k? Follows sounds a bit nicer and looks really nice.
  9. 00:21:040 (93) - to 00:24:198 (100) - Add some more notes here? Doesn't have to be complicated. You can map to the guitar as simple 4 note patterns.
  10. 00:38:182 (37,38,39,40) - kk dk? I think it fits the vocals nicely.
  11. 00:39:085 (42,43,44,45,46,47) - Similarly, o oo o oo would fit great here. Note arrangements are up to you of course.
  12. 00:52:844 - Maybe add a note here? There's a bit more going on in this part.
  13. 00:54:423 (105,106) - And this could be something like d kkk d since drums do a bit more.
  14. 01:00:288 (7,8,9) - kkkkd? Streams like these are awesome for leading into kiai time.
  15. 01:04:348 (28) - Delete this note to make a gap like at 01:11:566 ?
  16. 01:11:002 (70) - d? Four k in a row isn't too nice looking.
  17. 01:12:468 (78,79,80,81,82,83,84) - kkddk k? No need for 7 notes, 5 and 1 fits fine.
  18. 01:13:370 (85,86,87,88) - Sounds more like D D K K, no?
  19. 01:16:641 (99) - Delete, 1/3 into 1/4 is confusing even in Oni difficulty.
  20. 01:25:213 (145,146,147) - kd k? Fits vocals better.
  21. 01:27:017 (154,155,156,157,158) - Maybe dk K then break until 01:27:807 (159) - ? For the "YES!"

Some nerf stuff needed for spread and other reasons. Hopefully you can agree with most of this.
[Muzukashii]
  1. 00:09:761 (20,21) - Delete instead of mapping to the build up? Since it's muzu it just feels underwhelming to see 2 notes in parts llike these.
  2. 00:19:799 (50,51,52,53,54) - Delete these, and instead introduce notes at 00:19:912 , 00:20:250 and 00:20:588 <-- can be a big note.
  3. 00:24:987 - You can add a note here too.
  4. 00:42:919 (42,43) - Should keep following the oxxoxxo rhythm here.
  5. 00:44:949 (48,49) - Removing these two should help the lack of breaks.
  6. 00:51:716 (70,71,72,73,74) - Shouldn't be nearly this complex.
  7. 00:58:934 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - dd.k.k..k? Using things like dk like this is too jarring a difficulty spike.
  8. 01:00:288 (7,8) - Removing these works as another break without hurting kiai's start.
  9. 01:07:167 (36,37,38) - But another break (rest from 1/4) can happen here if these notes are deleted.
  10. 01:12:468 - Add a triplet here since we added a break earlier!
  11. 01:18:784 (9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16) - Should be simplified.
  12. 01:27:130 (42,43) - Should be kkk (avoid issues), ddk doesn't really do much anyways.
  13. 01:28:483 (48) - Deleting this note should nerf the ending enough to be ok.
[Futsuu]
  1. HP7 as per Taiko HP rules.
  2. 00:15:175 (19) - Deleting this so the big notes are on their own would be much nicer.
  3. 00:18:784 (25) - Deleting this for a 4/1 break is a bit more appropriate for the lowest diff.
  4. 00:26:679 (36) - This note sounds a bit nicer at 00:27:355 .
  5. 00:41:340 (22) - Deleting this note so they can prepare for the new rhythm is nice (like at 00:34:122 )
  6. 00:48:558 (37) - Remove finisher? Seems to not emphasize much.
  7. 00:58:934 (1) - You can make these d d d, as long as you delete 01:00:288 (3,4) - like in Muzu.
  8. 01:07:055 (20) - Remove finisher, and add one at 01:07:957 (22) - .
  9. 01:09:761 (26) - Make this d d k, so it's as tough as the first part of this kiai?
  10. 01:14:273 (36,37) - K K? To make a nice rising sound.
  11. 01:15:626 (1) - Start spinner at 01:15:175 like in Muzukashii? Don't forget to move the end!
  12. 01:28:934 - Add a note to spike difficulty a little like in other diffs?
After this, you can get one more mod, I will re-check, then probably ask Krfawy to re-bubble.

[Muzukashii]
  1. 00:21:040 and 00:21:491 - Did these notes explode o_o? d k here would be fine, since the break was earlier (if that was the intent at all xP)
  2. 00:22:055 (54,60) - To be safe, let's just make these triplets into 1/2 d d. Applies to both here.
  3. 00:27:355 (73) - Move this to 00:27:243 and make it a d, so it fits the song as a simple double.
  4. 00:42:919 (42,43) - These notes just barely missed the right tick by one :p (00:43:032 and 00:43:370 of course)
  5. 00:51:716 (68,69,70,71,72) - I think a simple k d k would do spread better justice here.
  6. 00:56:904 (85) - Spinner as it is in Futsuu?
  7. 01:00:288 (6) - Should be at 01:00:739 , editor probably messed it up. Also add a finisher to it!
  8. 01:07:280 (33,34) - Deleting these was the break I meant in the mod.
  9. 01:15:175 (1) - Instead of a spinner, because Oni is so simple, a 1/3 k k ddd should be good enough.
  10. 01:18:784 (9,10,11,12,13) - I think a good medium would be something like
[Futsuu]
  1. 00:26:904 (36,37,38) - I lied. This sounds bad. Delete 00:27:355 (38) - and move 00:27:130 (37) - to 00:27:243 (1/4)!
  2. 01:06:152 (19) - Make this a d d d (no finisher on the first note) since the other diffs aren't so simple here.

12:28 Raiden: D?
12:28 Raiden: lol
12:28 Raiden: 00:49:010 (87) - same, D sounds much better
12:29 streeteelf: Ok, done both of these. Is there something else to change?
12:30 Raiden: dude dont blindly follow
12:30 Raiden: think about it
12:30 Raiden: its okay to say no lol
12:30 streeteelf: I hear it, you're right. :P
12:31 streeteelf: It's like 2 seconds so don't need x20 time to listen
12:32 streeteelf: Could be also KDKDKKK I think, but both version sounds nice
12:32 *Raiden is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/453448 Tomodachi Tsukuritai - Zannenkei Rinjinbu Hoshi Futatsushan [Muzukashii]]
12:32 Raiden: 100:24:649 (63) - k?
12:32 streeteelf: Especially looking at previous pattern it could be KDKDKKK
12:32 streeteelf: Hmmm, lemme see
12:33 streeteelf: Consistent with 00:25:551 (66) - you mean?
12:33 Raiden: ya
12:33 streeteelf: Yup, k is better
12:34 Raiden: 101:19:912 (14) - if you followed the instrument, getting drums here soudns kind of
12:34 Raiden: bad?
12:34 Raiden: rofl
12:34 Raiden: 01:19:912 (14) - move to 01:19:799 -
12:34 Raiden: add a d to 01:20:025 -
12:34 Raiden: there is enough density in futsuu
12:35 Raiden: spread is not hurt
12:36 streeteelf: Ye, I see. 01:19:799 (14) - could it be k instead of d? I think it sounds nice too and is better to play. o_0
12:36 Raiden: uh
12:36 Raiden: if you move to 01:19:799 - , sounds better as a d
12:37 Raiden: because it sounds exactly like 01:19:573 (13) -
12:37 streeteelf: Or no, then I have to change 01:19:122 (11) - to k too
12:37 Raiden: no no
12:37 streeteelf: And you're right too
12:37 Raiden: they sound equal to the previous blue tick note
12:37 streeteelf: Yes, now I hear it
12:39 Raiden: thats all i guess
12:39 Raiden: futsuu is clean
12:39 streeteelf: Ok, then I update mapset now
12:40 streeteelf: Done :)
12:41 Raiden: krfawy should stop bubbling taiko sets
12:42 streeteelf: Should, but I don't really have power him to stop :P

12:44 streeteelf: If I'm sure, now there no "Taiko Nominators" just BNs. :P W-wait? What? :D
12:44 Raiden: yea
12:44 Raiden: its like
12:44 Raiden: i go and qualify a standard map without having any idea
12:44 Raiden: yea

12:44 Raiden: putting on 1/2 is just

  1. 00:46:303 - add a d? This part being empty makes spread look weird. 00:47:205 - k here would also help for consistency with 00:52:619 (1,2,3,4,5,6) -
  2. 00:59:385 (2,3,4) - Move these onto the blue ticks before. It's the only way these won't sound like they ignore the song.
  3. 01:15:175 (1) - This kind of ignores part of the song. Shorten the spinner to 01:16:528.
 Then add a don at 01:16:979 , 01:17:656 , and a kat at 01:18:333 . This also helps the player know what rhythm 01:18:784 (1,2,3,4,5) - is.
[Muzukashii]
  1. 00:07:280 - Add a k since Oni is hella dense.
  2. 00:07:731 - ^ don here.
  3. 00:07:957 (14) - Finisher seems kinda mapped to nothing. Remove?
  4. 00:12:694 - Add a note here because Oni is actually preeetty dense.
  5. 00:13:822 (32) - Deleting this note does sooo much more for actually following vocals without sounding horribly off.
  6. 00:45:626 - Add a don here similar to how we added notes in Futsuu for spread.
  7. 00:53:521 (73) - Remove finisher, seems mapped to nothing as well.
  8. 00:54:874 (77) - ^ But add a finisher at 00:55:325 (78) - , it's much more deserving.
[Oni]
  1. 00:27:355 (110) - Move this to 00:27:243 to properly match the rhythm.
  2. 00:52:393 - Add a k to set this part further from Muzukashii.
  3. 01:10:776 (69) - Change to don, I can predict people will see this stream and panic.
Spread is wider than full with alphanumeric text.

^Fix the title.

Remove tsukuritai zannenkei rinjinbu hoshi futatsushan from tags, it's already in the title.

[Futsuu]
00:27:807 (1) - Shorten this spinner to 00:29:385 - or 00:29:611 - , as spinners doesn't have a defined end, most of the time it leaves an empty beat in 00:30:062 -, which be nice to be hit.
00:50:814 (1) - Something similar, in this case, it'd be better to remove the spinner and put a note in 00:51:716 -

[Muzukashii]
01:15:175 - The 1/3 here feels a bit odd, try moving 01:15:476 (61) - to as a don.

[Oni]
01:01:416 (14,15,16,17,18,19) - I think a kd dkkd would suit better as vocals are dominant in this section.
01:03:220 (23,24,25,26,27,28) - Something similar here.
01:21:491 (124) - This note could be removed, intensity in the song went down, yet this keeps the high density of the previous section.

The spread still looks a bit wide, but I think I (personally) can accept it.

Rechecking as requested.

[Futsuu]
You're missing a don in 00:30:062 - . Unless you're going mostly for vocals.
00:50:814 - A don would complement the previous patterns nicely.

[Muzukashii]
00:59:686 - Try putting a don here? It sounds nice and would help to avoid this kind of awkward 3/4.

[Oni]
00:11:115 (44) - I don't know why I missed this in the last check, but move this to the previous blue tick, so it matches vocals and follows better the song.
00:12:919 (53) - ^
