I may be wrong, but judging from the low play count yet such high scores/PP displayed on their profiles i've come to the conclusion that they play offline and connect to submit their scores. I've got a feeling that it's because they just want to either hide the fact they have a insanely large play count since the osu mania mode is the hardest to learn and master.

Because osu mania isn't a unique game mode and there are lots of people with years of experience in basically the same game.

No, no it doesn't go the same for other game modes. You don't have any other copies of osu standard besides hexis unlike people who are good in other mania style games (The only one I know is O2 Jam)prky wrote:

Mania is the one mode where you have people who are really good at other games almost the exact same as it migrate to osu.prky wrote:

Yeah, I've seen other games that look very similar to what osu! mana looks like. As in the game style. If you've played games like that on a computer, you'll most likely know how to play them already. Which means once you begin playing osu! mania here, you already have a good grasp of how it works. Only thing you have to do is get used to the keyboard controls if it's different than others you have played.
Since some mania players have played other games that are similar to mania, such as BMS, Stepmania, and O2Jam, all the experience from those games carries over and makes them gods.
