Except for Denmark, where ISPs are forced to block various public torrent sites, and reasonably priced fiber doesn't exist in most of the country.IppE wrote:

Meanwhile nordic countries reign supreme yet again with reasonably priced fiber and no bandwidth caps or stupid blocking done by isps and shit.
You have attempted to access a website, which contains material that breaks the copyright law. For this reason, IPSs have been obligated to block access to the website. The worst thing here is, that I'm forced to pay for a TV subscription if I want a connection that is any faster than 20/2 mbit where I live, because there's only one ISP on the COAX network, and they refuse to sell an internet connection without including TV. So in order to get 100/20 mbit I'm paying 300 DKK for the connection itself, and another 200 DKK for a TV subscription.

Gema: blocks music on youtube, bloks many torrent sites. If they detect any illegal downloads they will fine you.IppE wrote:

There are a lot of illegal things that are done by the government in the US, most people just say "it's okay when the government does it" so not much is done about it.B1rd wrote:
pretty sure it's illegal for them to be looking through your internet data.
