from experience scumslips come more often from town than from scum
This is how every town mislynch goes down, someone messes up something or says something dubious and everyone goes "omg must be scum" and xy town something has been lynched.
Why would scum be more likely to say he had suspicions of Slaini actually being scum over doubts. I mean if he slipped he knew someone was town, then sure it could be a scumslip because he forgot town!he shouldn't know that but this?
So yeah this aspect doesn't really worry me.
What DOES makes me wary is how he said:

Do scum always act irrational and unpredictably? No. Do you know why? Because of the nature of their win condition. Scum are the ones who play the game the most carefully, because they are the one's most in danger. So please guys don't just go "hurr durr read didn't make sense he's scum".
Because I don't really see scum intentions, and I think his whole explanation checks out and his plan is something a new town player would be more likely to come up with, even if I don't think it had been too effective with regards to the actual conclusions he tried to draw. But as Sakura said him emphasizing his idea of scum/town meta in his defense nullifies this read I'd have if it wasn't for that quote.
But well that still only means it's nullish to me, and I think we can get a better lynch than that.
