My reads have changed from last time.
Town: SNB, Drezi, Maaybe Zexion.
Scum: Ace, Maaaybe Slaini, Maaybe Hika.
Don't care: Navizel.
Where the fuck are they and why arent they voting: Jess.

I specifically dont like how Ace tried to buy townpoints when saying "HEY GUYS LOOK HOW IM BEING RECKLESS INSTEAD OF CAREFUL, SCUM DOESNT DO THIS!"
Can't even explain his scumread on me either.

I talked about the "scumslip" yet again to make my stance clear to that thing. Slaini brought it up, for me there's not much more else to say.

AFAIK al reads should be based on something. Ace pulling them out of nowhere and not explaining them makes me really weary of him, Ace being the player with the least interactions in the game and just posting names without how he reached that conclusion reading... yeah, you get the picture. So I'm keeping my vote on him for the time being.

My reads so far:
Town-ish: Drezi, SNB (I would still like to see what Ace says about SNB's reply)
Null: Sakura (your theories have been too wild and that Navi claim you trust so much...), Slaini
Scum-ish: Hika, Ace, Navizel (Can't trust him until we make that claim clear).
I don't even: Jess (you should all understand why)

Right now I'm about to fall asleep over the PC. Will post a little more tomorrow.

If anyone here is making a paranoiac analysis, retaliation more like, it's you. I made a read towards you, and you just immediately accuse me of being scum. Sure I was afk for the beginning stages of the game, but that's not suspicious. And what on earth made Slaini the most suspicious person here except for me? Because he made a "scumslip" which can easily be dismissed as a language issue? You're just making accusations for the pure sake of directing attention away from yourself and towards me, which mind you is a very scummy move.

However, it's not faulty logic, from experience scumslips come more often from town than from scum, i don't get how a supposed newbie would pick up on something like that however.

I may have worded it oddly, but his scumslip and me thinking that he is town are completely unrelated. I picked him because he was under scrutiny, and it was a bonus that I had my suspicions on him actually being scum. I didn't think he was town because he scum slipped. I'm not some secret experienced player who's been playing for years. I'm pretty young, I wasn't even allowed on the internet until a few years ago. There's no way for me to build up a ton of experience on something so obscure as scumslip tendencies in a game I thought was restricted to cards until 2 weeks ago.

Also, what I'm about to type right now is aimed more at Zexion, this was not an "I'm developing a plan to find out all the scum so leave me alone" deal. This was to determine one scum. The post I made can't catch more than one. And I thought it out in about 30 seconds, so it's not still going. I'll answer any question anyone else wants me to if you can't figure it out from what I already posted.

Your post says that you initially scumread Slaini, then he scumslipped, then you townread him... but it wasnt because he scumslipped, then you made your reaction test or w/e and you townread him more.

There's something missing here, and i bet you can tell what is...

Ah I re-read my post and it does look confusing looking from a different point of view. I can't read it like you would, and because it's text you can't really grasp my meaning in some sentences. I'll clear it up, I thought Slaini was town and that never changed. I worded that sentenced in my post oddly, so it comes off as if I initially scum-read him. I didn't. everything before that read was pure either RVS, or not very well thought out, prime example being, my vote on Zexion. I thought he was dodging questions. So I voted. I never put actual thought into the game until my "read". Hope that clears up any misunderstanding.

How the fuck do you screw something like that up, like you even use words like supicions and scum, How the fuck do you make that of actually having a townread... that's just... too fricken impossible.

It looks to me more like it's scum caught in a lie.

He did say later that he both worded that post badly and did reckless things before those posts, possibly referring to his late RVS and such. Sure, it could be a blatant lie, but eh, I'll just not get overly suspicious over that right now.

Also good job guys. I was out in the meatworld for over 7 hours and all I see are two posts by Sakura. Keep it up, you're the real MVPs.

K. In this sentence, suspicious means doubtful. Despite what everyone else was saying I was doubtful of him being scum. That's how the sentence should be interpreted.

This is how every town mislynch goes down, someone messes up something or says something dubious and everyone goes "omg must be scum" and xy town something has been lynched.

Why would scum be more likely to say he had suspicions of Slaini actually being scum over doubts. I mean if he slipped he knew someone was town, then sure it could be a scumslip because he forgot town!he shouldn't know that but this?

Because I don't really see scum intentions, and I think his whole explanation checks out and his plan is something a new town player would be more likely to come up with, even if I don't think it had been too effective with regards to the actual conclusions he tried to draw. But as Sakura said him emphasizing his idea of scum/town meta in his defense nullifies this read I'd have if it wasn't for that quote.

But well that still only means it's nullish to me, and I think we can get a better lynch than that.

I could go over for Hika too tbh, it's just that at the rate this is going she's gonna be replaced since she never declared V/LA?

The thing with Ace is that he can't explain his Scum -> Town shift. So he's trying to play with words to make it look like he was townreading him the entire time.

My theory of scum motivation for that slip is that since he knows Slaini's town he decided to stay off and townread him for town cred so he can't explain his scum > town shift.

However he made that explanation after he was the one being wagoned and the wagon on Slaini had died, it's the only thing making me doubtful right now.

I just dont get why would he make that mistake, unless he'd been self-conscious of something. And i still don't get why he got a townread on Slaini out of all that happened, I mean, most of the way he plays as if it was someone with experience OR knowledge of alignments.

Am i just being paranoid?

Maybe. I've never played this game online, but I have in real life. And when I played, it was with ~25 people, so I'm not really used to 9 players. My read on Slaini was less of a townread and more I didn't understand why he was labeled scum. I don't think the way I play is experienced, but, then again this is my first mafia game online. I wouldn't know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Most of the things you mention are things i have picked up on experience, normally i get paranoid of newbies that mention such things because there's no way someone would know such things without experience or alignment knowledge.

But if the way people suspected Slaini made you townread him, why didn't you mention anything about Navi who was also heavily suspected as well?

I guess the easiest answer to why I didn't mention anything about Navi is that I really didn't care. I only needed one person to put on the list, so I picked one and ignored the rest. That's why everyone else is null. They didn't really matter.

I am not talking about your initial readslist, im talking about your 2nd one.

You said you randomly picked Slaini and put him as town due to how he was attacked, and after the reactions you strengthened that read.
But Navizel was also attacked heavily, yet you put Navi as null scum (Claims aside, this read doesnt make any sense).

Also if you arent transparent with your thoughts how would you have expected me to pick up on stuff like you didn't ISO anyone else, or the fact that you haven't read anything until then.

On the other hand, I didn't read Navi's posts, so I don;t know why he was suspected and quite frankly I didn't need to. I did explain why I put him as null-scum
Same reason, I looked at your reactions to my read. You didn't really respond to it at all. You just repeated what was already mentioned and how it didn't mesh well with you. You had very little involvement, which I took as suspicious, but could not use as evidence to you being scum, so therefore I just left you as null-scum.

I agree. Her ideas were vague at best and she never showed any signs of actually telling us her master plan, which makes me believe she was only pretending to be scumhunting or maybe lazy to actually do it. To be honest, I'm confortable with either Ace or Hika eating rope today, but we still have time until Hika comes back or gets replaced. I really don't get any townvibes from Ace, but Hika's style was way more supicious so I'm switching votes for now...

@Slaini, why are you so willing to vote me? IMO your read on me doesn't really matter in D1 since I already claimed JK. You're voting someone with a potential to be actually JK. If you're town, imo he best possible decision would be just vote someone else. Losing a power role is detrimental to town. Jailkeeper could protect any townie from mafia kills. Though mafia might have a roleblocker and then blocks me N1. Even so, it's a pretty bad decisipn. You can just kill me anyway in D2 if you insist.

If I hadn't voted for her, anyone (including you) would've said I was a hypocrite for saying I don't want to vote you anymore, but instead I don't remove my vote either.
