That's just a public list, essentially a popularity contest; note that Mario is ranked #11 while Dr. Mario is #39. It will still take some time before accurate commentary can be given to tournament viability, especially when you consider things like custom moves and banned stages.
Incidentally, I have virtually no idea how to fight Sonic. I only see him online on occasion and his playstyle is so wildly different that I just wing it. Still not as bad as fighting good Lucarios and Little Macs.
Lol I've never been a fan of these tier lists. Way too many factors too consider (and someone I know thinks I'm crazy for thinking so). I tend to have a lot of favourites that are no where near the top such as Ganondorf (who is my second or third favourite).
People rant on a ton of things all the time, it's just how humans are. Imo tier lists are just another thing that people rant about because "omg this dude's broken so i bet i can become uber pro by maining him wwww" is something that probably runs through some people's minds after seeing said tier lists...
What they fail to realise is the specifics of said character. It's like comparing it to other video games where you need mastery of x amount of characters, and even if character y is broken, if you're bad at it then you're still bad at it no matter how broken it may become.
Anyone who registered both games will be getting it (doesn't have a gender), though I'm assuming codes won't be sent out till either next month or May.
The results are in: Mega Mewtwo Y is its Final Smash. Anyway, the Mewtwo DLC codes will be sent out on April 15, but for everyone else, you can purchase it on April 28 for $4.99/€4.99/500¥ for both games, or less for just one.

So what do you think? I wasn't really expecting Ryu and it'll probably be shown off at E3 or something. Still, I know Street Fighter is a pretty big series, and Nintendo x Capcom has a pretty good relationship. I don't have any quarrels with this choice if it is real.
Anyways, I played a few matches against some Mewtwo on my 3DS, and it's a pretty cool character. I really need to get the Wii U version someday soon.. (when I get a replacement charger for my wii u gamepad.. dumb dogs)

Ryu seems a little bit more technical and thus more useful than Little Mac. (and ultimately casuals are going to spam his specials at the most inapropriate times in FG) Given that you can additionalyinput the original directional commands to perform a stronger version of those specials - it'll add another layer of depth in his arsenal. At least you can controll how far you can travel with his side-b and it locks at edges when using the ground version, so it's pretty foolproof.
He also can cancel out his normals into specials which would open up more options for Ryu to combat certain strategies + Focus Attack (Dash Cancel) is a thing.

Shinku Hadoken is probably good for crowd control and racking up damage fast to kill them with the many kill moves that he has, while Shin Shoryuken literaly is Little Macs K.O Punch: Doesn't kill at 0% but does so extremely early - might kill at 0% at stages with low ceilings like Halberd.
Also it looks like Ryu might have limited options offstage and a difficult time dealing with gimps + his arials only look "okay" at best. Certainly miles better than Little Macs, but not good enough to rely on them.
Anyways, it's super strange to see Ryu in a Super Smash Bros. game but i'm hyped AF to bring fighting streets to FG.

It must suck very hard to be Sakurai, if all your hard work and effort you've funneled into something to create an epic reveal is ruined by one simple person who either happens to be working at the same team (worse; someone who've worked directely under Sakurais hands) but broke NDA or someone who just knows computers and stuff. Eitherway, i feel like it ruins the fun of the job he has - when the ability of ripping the curtains on something people have been looking forward to is taken away from you. It sucks all the joy of continuing to even make announcements anymore in my opinion.
Man, thinking about this just makes me feel even worse for Sakurai.

Funny, met 5 Ryus in that short span of time (and a dozen other miscelanous character - surpsingly no Roy yet????), 3 fought with my Jigglypuff and 2 with Ganon. JV3'd 1 of them with Ganon using the ultimate technique of side-b tech chasing (also known as the casual saltmaker) and lost 1 stock by accident with Jiggly because i underrestimated the Focus Attack special.
Can totally confirm, Ryu seems to be hard to play and gimped easy as hell if you just put them on edge. (mentally and literally)

There is something called DI you know, every know bayonetta zero to death so far requires at least 3 50/50 reads and poor DI, the likeliness of it actually happening in tournament play is next to none, so you can breathe easy.
She does however get about 45% off these combos if executed correctly and a 50/50 to extend it; and everyone's going to take the 50% that won't let them go off the top and die so yeah she is deadly but not as deadly.
You just have to treat Beyo like brawl ice climbers; never approach. Her only approach is down B and you can just shield and grab/punish however you like.
Also treat her Down air like Ike's Neutral air; show a good ammount of respect toward it and you can get quick punishes or if you're feeling confident with the timing perfect pivot (perfect) shield to grab/punish.
There anyone having issues staying connected to the network? I tried to play with a friend over Wifi and I kept kicking booted off the network five minutes into two different games. Sitting right beside the modem too. =( Shame because it was lag free until I get disconnected.
