can i register a 3rd chilean/othercountry members team?
Just pm me your team and I will have look at it. If it has team members from a country not yet represented, we will call it as such. For example if you have 2 brazil players, we will just call you Team Brazil.Pohm wrote:

i don't even know if you'd qualify
I'm sorry, I didn't see any kind of registration restrictions on the OP so I was under the impression that this was open to everybody. You would know better than I would though, so I'll take your word on it.
Edit: I know that I can't compete on your level but I thought it would be fun to at least participate in the first round or two

still needs moar hype
also some announcements:
To avoid over-representation of countries we will reduce the max. teams of a single country in the Round of 16 to two. Should one country ascend to Ro16 with three teams they will face each other, kicking one of the teams out of the tournament. The team that placed #17 in Group Stage (by statistics) ascends in the position of the kicked team. These matches will be held on the same weekend as Group Stage matches.
Also, we will do the mappool showcase for Group Stage next Saturday, aka May 2nd at 5 PM UTC. Here we will showcase the maps played during the Group Stage and we hope many of you will join us!

5.4: Each map-pool has three tiebreaker. These will be the hardest and longest maps of the current pool.
5.4.1: The tiebreakers will be Free Mod.
5.4.2: Each team will ban one tiebreaker, with the remaining one being played.
5.4.3: In the freak event of a tie on the tiebreaker, the players will use the !roll function to decide who gets to pick out of the banned 2 maps to play as the tiebreaker for the tiebreaker.

7.1: A big emphasis on the new feature in this tournament, we want everyone to be aware that there are THREE tiebreakers, and each team will be able to ban ONE. The remaining tiebreaker will be played.
I'll get to the bottom of it .-.qoot8123 wrote:
I looked at the live stream and seems Taiwan A is in the group E and Taiwan B is in group H, but the team in image was reversed. I don't know which one is correct
EDIT: there is the live stream's screenshot.

Just wondering, will a tournament schedule for each match be eventually posted or will teams have to organise times to compete? (Probably a schedule, I'm just too impatient to wait for it >.<)
6.4: Scheduling will be handled by the Tournament Management. Schedules and map-pools will be released on the Sunday before the first matches of the actual stage. The Tournament Management will try to create the schedule to respect the participant's time zone.'v'
I did that yesterdayNwolf wrote:

As it's already over for us, thank you guys, it actually was lots of fun. At least now I see, that I still have to improve a lot to get any further, even if I missed only in one match through the entire group stage.
Good game, everyone.

I am replacing ende with another similar map by Lost the Lights called Bumblefuck. it is similarly fast, but we have got him to create us a TWC version with a slower SV as to replace ende.
